Ambassador do everything right. Staff amazing and friendly. Customer service was efficient and my query dealt with promptly. Food was varied and delicious. Your entertainment team were superb. The nightly shows were so professional. Dancers excellent and the singers outstanding. Loved all the shows. Had to attend the medical centre. (seasickness). Great care given by the two staff working there. My only crib ..it was absolutely freezing on board the ship.
Will definitely sail Ambassador again soon,

The ship was spotlessly clean, all staff so helpful and accommodating. Great choice of food and entertainment . Great experience from the moment we checked in until we disembarked. Great we could sail from Belfast. Have already booked our next one.

Sailed on Ambition. Great staff. Wonderful entertainment. Spotlessly clean. Excellent service. Booking very straightforward. Would love to have had cotton bedsheets instead of brushed cotton as they were too prickly! Otherwise, first class all round. Have already booked next cruise with Ambition.

My sister and I did a cruise from Liverpool to Iceland on the 5th June for 10 days. Its the first time with Ambassador and it was fabulous.
On arrival at the cruise terminal we were greeted by the luggage porters who immediately took charge of our cases and told us to enter the check in. It was a quick and easy check in where we received our cruise cards and our cabin number.
We boarded and were told our cabin wasn't ready but we could to go to deck 11 to the buffet for drinks and lunch.
After our refreshments we went to our room and our cases were outside our cabin.
A very quick and easy embarkation.
The cruise was fantastic, the crew were great. On board entertainment was always available day and night, there was something for everyone. The show team put on spectacular performances twice every night the standard was amazing. We also watched some really good plays from the 4 Actors.
The waiters/waitresses in the bars were spot on taking your drinks orders especially Anthony and Denzil in the Clifton Lounge.
We were assigned the Holy food restaurant for our evening meal. We really enjoyed the 4 courses on offer every evening being waited on by Paul and Johnny who were fabulous, so polite and attentive always had a smile and nothing was too much trouble. The restaurant manager Agur was always on hand checking that everything was ok. It was a pleasant experience each night. We used the Borough Market buffet for breakfast and again nothing was too much trouble.
We had a wonderful trip, made some fabulous friends too. We would recommend Ambassador from our experience, value for money on an adult only ship with a maximum of 1200 passengers. We would go again on Ambition from Liverpool.

Very disappointing experience with Ambassador Cruise Company.
The company advertised cabins at attractive prices, but when attempting to book, those cabins were apparently not available. It felt like a classic bait-and-switch tactic, with the advertised price drawing customers in only to find that the actual options available were significantly more expensive.
When we questioned this, the customer service was unhelpful and dismissive. Staff showed little interest in addressing our concerns and were often rude in their responses. What should have been a straightforward enquiry turned into a frustrating and unpleasant experience.
To make matters worse, despite raising a formal complaint, there has been no meaningful response or resolution. The lack of communication and customer care has been extremely disappointing. When the CEO can’t be bothered to respond or resolve then it’s no wonder the service is as poor as it is!
Advertising cabins that customers cannot actually book is misleading, and the poor handling of subsequent complaints only makes matters worse. Based on our experience, I would not recommend Ambassador Cruise Company.
Further to your response, given that the CEO doesn’t bother to respond or resolve and the person at guest relations was not happy to try and resolve I will decline your standard business reply and continue to make people aware of the issues of dealing with your company!

The crew are extremely friendly and helpful. The entertainment is first class and so professional. Food had plenty of choice.
Only wish there was more destinations sailing from Liverpool.

This was my third cruise with Ambassador aboard Ambition, and I loved every minute of it. The ship is fantastic, and every sailing has been a wonderful experience.
What I enjoy most are the theatre productions and the guest speakers. The entertainment is absolutely outstanding. Having cruised with other lines, including Royal Caribbean and Princess Cruises, I can honestly say that the shows on Ambition surpass them every time.
The staff are always friendly, welcoming, and eager to help, creating a warm and enjoyable atmosphere throughout the ship. Their positive attitude plays a huge part in making every cruise feel like the perfect holiday.
I would happily sail with Ambassador again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for excellent entertainment, outstanding service, and a truly relaxing cruise experience.

Ambition was amazing . A small ship with a big heart. The staff were very helpful and polite. The cleanliness of the ship was exemplary. The shows were brilliant and the dancers and singers were top drawer and very professional.
It was very nice to see the captain and hotel director wander among the passengers and listen to what they had to say. I must add the captain and hotel director were very nice.
It would be great if there could be more cruises from Liverpool please .
To sum up my wife and I would strongly recommend Ambassador cruise line .
Well done 👏👏👏

It was a great experience. All staff were polite friendly and professional. Only bad thing was the television in cabins could of had a movie channel for the days at sea

This was my first cruise and it exceeded my expectations. From the ease of bording at Belfast to the amazing food and the great entertainment. My absolute favourite was the Simon and Garfunkel evening. The staff went out of their way to make our experience truly unforgettable.

Our worst cruise experience to date.
Very poor food options - exactly the same food in the dining room and the buffet with limited choices. Only other option was the dire offerings on the outside grill.
The whole ship was like a care home at sea. Boiling hot everywhere. Probably 75% of fellow guests were over 75 with major walking difficulties and miserable faces.
The hot tubs, pools and saunas were shut down on day 3. No lemons/cherries in drinks or drinks mats allowed from day 3 onwards. Allegedly this was due to noravirus however, crafting and other activities with shared tools still allowed to go ahead.
We witnessed several elderly people not washing their hands/using sanitiser whilst entering food areas and not being tackled by members of staff.
The ship rocks all over the place. I'm a regular cruise and never seasick, but had to take a seasickness tablet every single day.
Entertainment on sea days was virtually non existent. Not once was there any entertainment on the outside deck. I will admit the entertainment in The Cavern of an evening was good, but who wants to got to the same place every single evening. Apart from a singer on a couple of nights, the other evening entertainment consisted of a violin player and a keyboard player.
On our penultimate day we were told if we chose not to get off the ship then we had to be confined to cabin or The Cavern lounge due to cleaning. Ambassador were more concerned about the new people getting onboard than the existing customers.
The staff are lovely but it must be a hard 9 months for them being onboard a care home!
Sailing direct from Liverpool was extremely easy, but to be honest, I'd rather fly or drive to Southampton than get on another Ambassador.
If we'd been made aware of the Ambassador 48 hour money back guarantee then we would have used this and left the ship in the first couple of days.

This is my second cruise holiday and went with Ambassador again.
Firstly it’s on my doorstep, Merseyside Liverpool docking, so couldn’t be more convenient !
Secondly, if you are wanting short ‘tester’
periods (5 day, 8 day,) it’s only two days at sea and seeing parts of UK never visited before and this time France- St Malo … beautiful and Belfast Titanic Museum is a must!
Thirdly, the passengers are friendly, there are lots of things to do from jigsaws to stage shows, on land tours to fine dining, inside cabins to suites.
I love my food and apart from the first night, can honestly say the food was excellent and the service impeccable .
If you have a complaint and you speak to reception or management, you are heard and it’s sorted .
Lastly it’s an adult only cruise line, possibly not the best for wheelchairs or disabled on embarking and disembarking (but doing their best)
Lifts can be a little bit confusing with missed floors so maybe more signage or information would be helpful.
The crew work hard and long hours and can be forgiven for seeming a bit tired at times however if you are not expecting nor indeed enjoy stifling formality, then this is a great introduction to cruising. !

Appalling treatment from Ambassador! Booked a cruise Oct 24 to sail July 26 as we needed an accessible cabin for a full time wheelchair user.
They waited until June 26 to cancel our holiday due to the port we are sailing from not being suitable.......they knew my husband was wheelchair bound at the time and the port we were sailing from so why let us book and wait until we are weeks away from sailing to cancel on us!?
They aren't even sorry about it which is the worst part, despite leaving us with no holiday and last minute holidays for someone wheelchair bound isnt easy to find!
Would avoid as a disabled person and able bodied person based on the lack of care they show to customers including the travel agent!
In response to the reply from Ambassador i did, and they didn't want to know! Basically they will only speak with our travel agent directly who they also shut down and didn't care. Appalling customer treatment and service.

We had no experience of cruising, either by advertising or word of mouth. The decision was made because we had the opportunity to sail from our local port( Belfast).
From the moment we arrived at the embarkation area to the time we said our goodbyes at the end, we felt that we were part of a family. Every member of staff made us feel that we were important to them.
On board, we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves, too many things to do to talk about individually. The food, in our opinion, was delightful, and the accommodation(balcony)was really comfortable.
We would definitely do another cruise, but as we are both in our 80's, we are unsure about booking too far in advance.
Well done Abassador and Ambition in particular.
