I cannot express my gratitude enough to Amber & her crew for her contributions to the alopecian community and making my life sooooo much easier and peaceful. 25 years of alopecia, I have discovered Amber Jean Shop via Instagram. Throughout countless years of wig usage, I can say that Amber provide the BEST wigs I have even own.

Starting from my initial consultation with Amber, to the selection of hairstyles and colours, as well as the quick shipping – every aspect is nothing short of perfection. The hair quality surpasses all expectations, with the hairline appearing incredibly natural. The wigs are exceptionally durable, unlike the majority of wigs I have previously purchased, as they maintain their integrity over a prolonged period.

Ordered custom unit and sent pictures of the color I wanted. The color didn’t look didn’t look anything that like the picture, it had wide dark roots, nothing like the picture. The quality of craftsmanship is terrible! It has huge knots that are visible and a bald spot. I asked for a refund but they refused. I filed a dispute with my credit card co. You can purchase a better quality for a lot less elsewhere!

A supportive experience and beautiful pieces!

I can’t speak highly enough of Amber and her incredible team - Emily and Katie. I suffer from Trichotillomania and after years of discomfort wearing semi-permanent hair systems and extensions (most of which made my pulling worse), I became curious about trying wigs to finally allow my scalp to recover. From the very first video call with Amber, I felt totally supported and at ease. I came to the studio for an in-person consultation and spent an enjoyable hour chatting with the stylist, Katie, and trying on some of the wigs to see how they feel. Each one I tried was beautiful and looked completely natural, even the ones that were the opposite to my own hair colour! I left having had a very positive experience, feeling excited for the next stage of my hair growth journey and finally feeling like I was in safe hands.

I ordered a custom piece to match my colour and curly hair texture. While waiting for the piece to be made, the team were very attentive and always answered my emails in good time. They even arranged for me to borrow a sample piece while the finishing touches were being done to mine; they did everything they could to ease my anxiety about having nothing on my head in the time between removing my old hair-system and receiving the wig.

My custom piece turned out beautifully, it’s also very comfortable and easy to wear. You really don't have to fuss with it all for it to look like it's your own hair, which was one of my fears around wearing wigs. The hair and mesh are amazing quality. I’m really glad I made the transition and am grateful to have had the support of Amber and the team.

I think that the AJ space must be a paradise for those who suffer from hair loss. Of course, I got a bit starstruck when I met Amber in person. However, you’ll realise that she is the most supportive and sympathetic person for your journey.

I experienced both services; In-person consultation and Wig try-on session. What I was the most worried about was that I am not an English native speaker. Also, I am not good at telling my preference for hairstyle. I was a bit nervous when I booked the services. However, it turned out that there was nothing to worry about. The hair stylist, Katie was so kind and patient. She did understand my feelings and treated me really well.

Trying several AJ pieces was such a joy in my life because I hadn’t had any choice but black hair. They gave me complete makeovers, which made me broaden my horizons. The most important thing would be that you can check the colour and quality of them through your eyes. I highly recommend all who want to share their journeys or need tips from Amber to go to the AJ space. It will be one of the most unforgettable experiences in your life as mine. I had a lovely time visiting the Amber Jean Shop in London Fields, both Amber and Katie made me feel so welcome and at home. I had lots of questions regarding the beautiful wigs and both of the ladies took the time to answer them carefully and without rushing me at all, which I thought was super kind. I really appreciated the care and attention they gave me when I was there, and I can't wait for my Hailey to arrive shortly! I can't recommend this place enough!

It was an amazing experience and totally worth it! I loved everything about it. Amber and Katie were very kind and helpful. They offer everything you need and make you feel like home.

I’ve had alopecia for most of my life and at 26 finally decided to find out what the wig life was about. I had no idea what I was doing but Amber made everything super accessible! She even helped me cut the lace via FaceTime because I was so scared I was going to mess it up. The wig itself is super lovely and I get compliments on the color almost every time I wear it. So many people can’t even tell it’s a wig until I tell them. The hair quality is wonderful and Amber and her team really make it worth the splurge! Looking forward to buying my next one with Amber at some point!

I honestly couldn’t recommend Amber Jean enough. The customer service and support from Amber and her team has been nothing but excellent. The piece is absolutely beautiful and has given me so much confidence, excitement and compliments! I opted to bespoke mine and it’s perfect! The hairline, fit, cut etc it’s made me feel like myself again but better! I will definitely be purchasing more pieces from here!

I have had alopecia for 4 years now and have always dreaded buying wigs: nothing makes me feel more sexless than searching in vain for a stylish piece with a natural hairline in amongst the dowdy styles.

No more! My Amber Jean wig has put a spring in my step. The hair line is natural, the hair is gorgeous with a natural wave and I receive so many compliments on my piece. I feel so much more feminine and confident in this wig.

AJ's customer service was responsive and helpful. Amber patiently answered my many questions without pressuring me to buy. When the wig arrived it was packaged beautifully and had a delightful smell - clearly a lot of thought had gone into this wig-buying experience!

Could not recommend getting your wig from the Amber Jean shop more! I’ve had alopecia since I was 12 and I’ve never had such a nice and stress free experience when sourcing my wigs. Amber and her team have such excellent communication throughout the whole process and you never feel like there is any obligation to buy at any point. Having the consultation with Amber herself put me at so much ease and she was so kind & patient at answering all my questions. Very thankful to have found them!

Having had alopecia since I was 11 years old it wasn’t always easy to find a wig that made you feel like you again when you looked in the mirror. Amber Jean shop nailed it.
