worked perfectly fine until I updated…

worked perfectly fine until I updated the drivers. Now most games crash after not even 30 minutes randomly.
Warthunder is now unplayable as 1 in 3 games you crash out of. My nvidia 1070 can still run this game buttery smooth with no issues but my 7900 XTX struggles to run it without crashing. same issue with Plaworld and and other newish games. although games like COD or Hell let loose not a single issue. Seems to be a driver issue, will never buy AMD again, just stick with NVIDIA and intel they are winning the battle with AMD for a reason.

Never again

Never again.

I have the AMD Radeon RX 7900 and for whatever reason the AMD driver software can’t consistently run DOOM 3. A game from over 15 years ago.

Come on guys. The inconsistency in performance between most games I’ve played is pretty dismal. Just going NDVIA next time.

Never again.

Never again.

Just bought an Asus tuf 870x
Ryzen 9 9950x3d
Cool master 360 AIO cooler
1000k corsair power supply
Fish tank case with 10 fans.

The motherboard has a pin missing and 2 more pointing 90 degrees up - serial number does not work on the RMA page.

The cpu has been damaged because of this and worse of all the cpu is absolutely horrific to begin with.

The temps:
Idle - 55°c
Running tasks - 60-82°c
Running all and any games - 88-97°c

I have wasted over £1400 on parts for this machine and it is unusable. Its only a matter of weeks or months until the cpu burns its self out.

I have tried absolutely everything to sort these issues out and everywhere I look forums report the same issues with high temps. 20 years I have been building computers with intel components and not once was there an issue. This computer has taken me 72 hours to investigate and im still firmly dug in at square one.

The single worst computer component producer in the history of technology.

Choosing AMD is a mistake

If you are thinking about choosing NVIDIA or AMD - don't. I never had trouble with NVIDIA products and recently I decided to try AMD and bought RX 7900 XTX. For the price of it I expected a smooth and high defining performance. Instead I got a computer with almost unplayable games. With NVIDIA the drivers came fast, were reliable and games would run smoothly with no problems. AMD games crash every 5 minutes. No matter what game you play - IT CRASHES. You can update bios, you can verify files, read of others trouble shooting, but in the end it just doesn't work even with the lowest settings possible.

AMD IS SO DAMN BAD

AMD IS SO DAMN BAD. I've always bought amd GPUS, since I don't have much money to spend on those. I've already had a RX 580 and currently have a RADEON 5500 XT, and I assure yall, better save money than buying those dogshit GPUS AMD sells. The drivers suck, and its not worth even a bit all the stress. I'm looking up to buy a RTX 4060.

I bought an AMD 7900 XTX OC

I bought an AMD 7900 XTX OC, and it's the worst decision I've made so far. I've always used Nvidia cards, and they've always been reliable. Even my 3080 performs much better in games like Escape from Tarkov and Delta Force compared to my new 7900 XTX. It honestly feels like a scam. The graphics and performance are both significantly better on my older 3080. I’m currently dealing with an RMA for it since I've had too many issues: the PC freezing while I can still hear people talking on Discord, videos freezing with half of the image missing, and the drivers are a complete mess—bugs after bugs. As someone who's always used Nvidia cards, I would advise staying away from AMD. This has been the worst graphics card and software experience I've ever had.

I live in Vietnam and the pricing of…

I live in Vietnam and the pricing of AMD CPUs and GPUs are just too good to pick NVIDIA's unless you need ray tracing, dlss and productivity that require GPU power, which undeniably NDIVIA's GPUs are much better in this category.
For gaming only then FPS per Dollar, can't beat AMD.
But at first I had issues with their drivers in 2020 with an RX 570 4GB which frustrated me, I pushed through though. And currently, I'm just in love with the Radeon Software and good stability.
It's not all pink and perfect so I'm only giving it a 4-star, but I'd always recommend AMD to anyone who needs a budget gaming machine.

Have used their GPUs since 2006

Have used ATI GPUs since 1996, then AMD brought that company, from 2006 I have AMD GPUs used to run great unfortunately it's not the 90s anymore, I have had nothing but game crash after crash, I have even had to go back to drivers that are years old just to make it without a crash.

I am building a new system in the next month or so but after my hair pulling experience over the last year, I have decided to build with NVIDIA GPU + Intel CPU had planned a total AMD build with AMD CPU + GPU but not anymore.

Worst chip and graphic card makers in…

Worst chip and graphic card makers in the industry. I have a rx 5700xt and it barely gets good performance in old games like gta and call of duty. Not only that but the software is the worst out there. Sometimes it never opens, sometimes it fails to update. I made the worst decision going with amd parts in my computer just because I wanted to save money. Its worth it to go with Nvidia and Intel instead. it will save you the break

AMD = BUG = CRASH = ERREUR DIRECT X

I'm on Battlefield 2042 and I have a 7900XTX with a 1000 watt power supply, and a 13700K processor, 32 GB ram. I have problems with AMD cards all the time, every day the screen stays frozen, crash crash and crash. I strongly advise against purchasing their product for gaming. Only instabilities and DIRECT X errors. They released a new driver, so I'm up to date and it's never stable. Error error all the time. I'm going back to NVIDIA.

The AMD RYZEN 9 5950X cools between 37c…

The AMD RYZEN 9 5950X cools between 37c and 45c with a AMD wraith cooler. My computing needs are modest. It doesn't even tank out the passmark benches. I can even run Artweaver plus with multiple renderings. But, I reserve my use of a Notua D15 if needed... I failed to say the Wraith cooler I used WAS an all COPPER HEATSINK, not aluminum or other alloy. The aluminum ones are far inferior. My boot drive and BU drive are high performance NVMe PCI. Way faster than Sata or M.2.

My MB is only an ASUS ROG STRIX x570e WiFi gaming socket AM4 with an added USB 4 thunderbolt PCI card. The newer Asus MB have thunderbolt implementation on the board.
