I am very disappointed to report
I am very disappointed to report my experience I had with a salesman at American Dream Auto Warranty.
I called in and spoke with a salesman, let’s call, “John”.
Upon my communication he presents himself as a manager, so I expect a knowledgeable salesman.
I was very pleased with what he represented to me. A “platinum”plan he told me many times it covers everything bumper to bumper with roadside, rental car, hotel covered if stranded in another city all with a 100.00 deductable. He even helped me with lowering my monthly payment by giving me an employee discount! Needless to say, I was very pleased so I purchased the product as it was presented to me. Then it all turned upside down.
When I printed out the ID card as proof of coverage, it showed that “John” had enrolled me in a much lesser plan, the “drive train” plan. Which is much less than the platinum plan. So I called in and stated my concern since “John” and I never even spoke about the drive train plan. If I had not caught this, And God forbid broken down, I would have been in a world of hurt not having the coverage that I clearly thought I had bought. Myself being a widowed disabled single woman would of gotten stuck on the side of the road with minimal coverage.
I called back in and was transferred to the retention depatment for resolution. I was told that the recording of my conversation was being pulled and listened to. The representative told me I was correct in all I stated as to how “John” sold me their Platinum product and it had been entered incorrectly and he was being reprimanded as we spoke and would probably be fired by the end of the day.
That all being said they where unable to honor the dollar amount that I was quoted by “John” and had already paid for. If I wanted to move forward with the purchase of a Platinum American Dream Auto Warranty plan I would have to pay the difference. That’s crazy because I thought I had already closed the Platinum deal and paid for it. And now they admit their employee made a mistake.
I don’t know about you guys out there but I have NEVER heard of a business doing business like this! What do you think should happen now? O and by the way this company is listed in the top 10!!!!!

I tried multiple times to cancel my account without success. My bank tried, I emailed American Dream Auto Protect without a response. I cancelled my bank account and this company submitted auto withdraw what a joke. I have since blocked all text, calls,and email communication. SCAM
