The products are great but the website is awful

The products are great, but (a) the website is a nightmare and has been for years, it's slow and clunky and just awful to use...and (b) products take forever to arrive. Great selection but please, fix your website already, what are you waiting for?

Short dates on a few items.

I've been using Americanfizz for years now and I've never had an issue with dates.. until now. I ordered 5 sprites and all were within 2 days of their best before date. Disappointed!

Unresponsive to issues relating to short dated items being dispatched

We received short dated items in a recent order. This issue was discussed with a member of American Fizz staff on the day the order arrived and we were asked to send in a list of the items and photos, which we did.

That was over 3 weeks ago and, despite a numerous calls to American Fizz, voicemails and emails no responses have been received.

If representitives make commitments to call back then they should do so.

If customers have issues, they should be "owned" within American Fizz and dealt with pro-actively. It should not be the responsibility of the customer to resolve issues of the supplier making.

Frequent Repeat Customer

I have used American Fizz numerous times and find contact with them friendly and helpful. When adding additional items to an order, they've consolidated items so I didn't incur additional packing/postage costs AND their range generally costs less than their main competitor!

Waste of time

What a joke, order was placed 10 days ago no information. Log on to my account view orders. Order is processing.

Chase the order, get a reply to say that as my order contains pickles it needs to be on a pallet and I need to pay an extra £40. The new website is a joke. Trying to place an order is impossible everything you put in your basket is on a timer. You go to add something else but that's in some else's basket. When their timer runs out you can add it but your basket is now empty so it goes on and on.

Second time ordering from American…

Second time ordering from American Fizz. Next Day, The main reason I order is they have a great selection and new items every week & The prices are so cheap compared to any other American shop or online store I've seen. Very recommended.

Best Global Sweet Website Around!

I've used American Fizz SO many times over the past few years and I've never had ANY issue with them.

They are much cheaper than other places and their reductions area is great.

If you need assistance their Facebook page is very responsive and lovely too!

There's always messages on their website too if they're experiencing delays with shipping which is very handy as not every place does this.

I'll be using them much more in the future as I love the American Soda they do. It's always much cheaper than stupid Kingdom of Sweets that charge like £3 a can!!

Absolutely Never Again!!

Placed an order with this company and when it arrived items were damaged due to poor packaging and also a lot of items were very near their sell by date. Non existent customer service and some items were definitely off and tasted disgusting Definitely would not place another order with this company who put profits before their customers. A lot of these American items can be bought from the many American sweets etc stores In shopping centres now and with the Studio catalogue I’m told. At least can check dates and quality without the extortionate price tag with delivery etc. Never again!

Very happy customer

My first order with this company since my daughter has become a bit obsessed with La Croix sparkling water which isn’t very easy to find in the U.K. and I was looking for an alternative supplier to the one I had been using.

I was very happy to find American Fizz and that they had her favourite flavours and very competitively priced. Always a bit of a concern ordering first time, especially since there’s some negative reviews on here but need not have worried, everything went very well and order arrived in perfect condition, carefully packed and within the time currently specified. Although order did take just over a week to arrive that was made very clear on their website and perfectly acceptable, especially given the time of year and various other disruptions at the moment so I’m a very happy customer and will definitely order again in the future. Thank you.

Fantastic company

Fantastic company! A wide range of products at reasonable prices.

I was a little concerned after reading the reviews on here (I’d already ordered before checking), but I had nothing to worry about!

I ordered on a Friday, I had a delivery by Wednesday. Cannot fault how quickly my order arrived. I also wrote a note at checkout asking for the longest dates possible on my products as they were all for Christmas. They reached out to me to check that I was happy with the dates on some of the shorter-life items. 5 star customer service!

Would highly recommend and I would definitely order from here again.

Great Company

I order from this company and was so impressed with the choice of items, the fast delivery and the level of communication.
They had everything I wanted, as a someone who grew up in Canada I miss the chocolate of my childhood. Most of the time online stores charge high prices or are out of stock not Americanfizz.
Thank you so much for everything I will be ordering again very soon.

I've just received my Order Today had…

I've just received my Order Today had to wait 4 day's for 1st Class delivery. I don't think that's Normal. But Nothing has broken due to delivery. Just very happy with my Purchase what has Arrived thank you.

Used to be really good - poor customer service

Used to be really good, but have very poor stock levels that take ages to get refilled. They have also ignored my last 5 emails enquiring when stock will come in.

Will take my business elsewhere, what a shame.

SCAMMERS AND CROOKS

They take your money and don’t deliver the goods.

They sold Prime for pre order for 3rd week of July, and it is still not been delivered coming up to the end of August.

No communication to customers about it, and they have also removed all trace from their website.

Fraudsters of the highest order. Every man and his dog that sells american imported goods have had Prime in stock by this point and some even get it delivered on regular basis such as Nisa stores, Best Before and a whole bunch of small time sellers.

The fact that small time sellers can get their hands on this but American Fizz can’t tells me they are waiting to fulfil the orders with UK stock when it becomes available even though they advertised US stock for sale, or are selling their stock on eBay for extremely high prices, as there is no way the so called largest supplier of american groceries is struggling to get this over a month since it was promised to be delivered while small timers can’t get enough of it delivered to them!

Would not use this company if I was paid to.

Bit of a shocking response really. Quite bold to lie on a public trust site like that, Asda have only been selling UK stock, and it is easily differentiated from US stock by the bottle. So saying Asda have been receiving US stock is straight up lies or shows you have no idea what is going on! Also Nisa stores are constantly stocked up on the US version. Therefore it clearly is being imported to other stores.

Secondly, you sold these at a extremely increased price, which was acceptable to many due to the lack of stock and it being the US imported version. If as you say, you are now fulfilling these orders with UK stock once it is freely available, I hope you will be refunding people the difference in price as UK stock is significantly cheaper than what you charged per bottle. I also hope you will let customers know about this before shipping their orders and giving them the option to cancel as you are going to be shipping a different product than what was ordered. I highly doubt this will happen though, as even though you acknowledged as a company you should have and be letting your customers know what is going on you STILL have not sent out any updates.

Honestly the worst company I have had displeasure to use.

We're sincerely sorry that we couldn't get your PRIME pre-order to you sooner. We have been giving updates to anyone that's contacted us. However, we should have provided you with regular, unsolicited updates, and I'm very sorry this hasn't happened.

We've temporarily unlisted PRIME on our website because we don't have it in stock, and we're not taking any more pre-orders. Our focus is on fulfilling existing pre-orders. We will re-list PRIME on our website when we have stock available.

PRIME is being made available in the UK via two channels only; their official supermarket launch partner, ASDA, and a designated partner working with us for the "speciality market". Any PRIME sold elsewhere has been bought from ASDA.

The main issue is that there has not been enough supply out of the US to meet the unprecedented demand in the UK. Therefore, the manufacturer decided to reallocate all US stock of PRIME to ASDA. It has been incredibly frustrating, as the manufacturer persuaded us to pre-sell PRIME but failed to deliver the product within the initial lead time or after. We are very sorry this is the case, but we are not in control of the brand's decisions.

PRIME will begin production in the UK in a few weeks, and our allocation will now come from that. We currently anticipate a mid-late September delivery date.

We fully appreciate that this has been a much longer wait than initially anticipated. If you wish to cancel your pre-order at any time, please get in touch, and we will provide a full refund.

I'm sorry once again for the disappointing experience you've had.

Not allowed to buy what you want.

I have been a customer for more than a year spending on average just under £100 per order without any issue until a few days ago when americanfizz.co.uk refused to deliver my £140 order. The reason given was courier insurance. I have so far never received any breakages. Though I have not yet found any limits on numbers of units there are now limits to 6 bottles per flavour but no limit to number of bottles in total, so a poorly thought out policy on the fly. There is a note that mentions if a box is over a certain weight then they would ask a payment of £5 but I haven't had that request. So my order was paid for but not dispatched due to this reason and subsequently cancelled and still waiting on a refund.
It seems to me that the issue is with the courier company in their poor handling of the items if they suffer so many breakages.
In my case the company's choice to limit their income for example from £140 order to £36 order and in reality a £0 order is detrimental.
Exceptionally surprised and disappointed at their policy.
So far found 7 other companies that sell the products I want with a much better attitude and policy.

From experience, we find it best to send orders containing large quantities of glass and/or liquid products on a pallet to avoid any damage in transit. This possibility should have been stated on our website and we’re sorry this information was not available when you placed your order.

For some time, we have set maximum quantities on fragile/liquid products to minimise these occurrences but maximum quantities weren’t set on the products you ordered and that’s on us. Our website isn’t sophisticated enough to limit overall quantities of fragile/liquid products but we are in the process of building a new website which should address this issue in the future.

We can’t fix the past but in response to your feedback, we have now set maximum quantities on the products you ordered and have updated our delivery information.

Once again, we regret that you were left disappointed with the experience you had. Please accept my sincerest apologies on behalf of the team.

Love American fizz!

I’m surprised at the negative experience people have had. The delivery company had delays and made a mistake on tracking info, so it was a day later than they stated. However American fizz responded to my emails promptly and friendly, I found customer service to be great. They even checked shipping info for me themselves. The problem only lay with the delivery service for being a day late. However I appreciate these things can happen. I got such good value for the money I spent and I’ve used them in the past for our usa treats. I’ll continue to use American fizz. Thanks!

I was almost deterred by previous…

I was almost deterred by previous reviews (which I suspect were from competitors) claiming that products are sent with low shelf life, but thankfully took the risk. Can confirm that there were no issues with my order and shelf life was in most cases 1 year+. Will be back!
