I would give this company zero stars if…

I would give this company zero stars if I could. This is nothing but a drop ship company/ e-commerce platform. I purchased an "Open Box" Ranch Hand replacement bumper from them. There were two listed with stating it was missing parts. The other one said very good condition with some minor scuff marks. Assuming they would have mentioned missing if it was missing parts I opted for that one. It said free shipping but I would have pay $199 for a lift gate truck to deliver it to my door. They were very detailed that the end shipper would contact me to coordinate so I could receive the bumper in person and inspect it. If it was damaged I should refuse receipt and take pictures and they would refund for credit. I never received a call to meet the truck and it ended up being left next to the trailer in the front drive of my friend's house where I had it delivered. When I inspected what was delivered there was no mounting hardware or instructions. I then contacted American Trucks and they said that their open box policy is you get what you get. I told them what their web site said but they said the policy was the policy. They then said I could return it but given what I had gone through to get the bumper I could just imagine the hell it would be returning. I then contacted Ranch Hand and immediately received a response with a pdf of instructions and a parts breakdown to what I would need. Do yourself a favor and stay as far away from this "company" as possible. Find a local dealer near you and deal with them. I paid the stupid tax so you don't have to...

We were disappointed to hear that the Ranch Hand Summit Series Bullnose Front Bumper ( Open Box) that you ordered did not come with the hardware, and our description failed to share this information when we posted it on our site. We understand and apologize for the frustration and inconvenience that this situation has caused you.

We do work hard to make sure that when we list an item for sale as an open box item, that we include all of the necessary information so that will know what to expect when you receive the item. After reviewing your concerns, we fell short of our goal and more importantly, your expectations with this order.

We have a few options we would like to offer you and see how you would like to proceed. I did note this information on your order so the representative you speak with will be able to assist you.

Option 1: We can set up a full return and issue you a refund back to your original payment method.

Option 2: We can offer you an appeasement to keep the item as is. The appeasement offered for this order would be $590 back in store credit.

Option 3: You can keep the item as is and we can issue you $295 back to your original payment method.

Jeffrey, we do apologize for this situation, and we would like to see how we can resolve this for you. If you would like to proceed with one of the options noted above, please send an email to Satisfaction@AmericanTrucks.com and kindly include which option you would like to select and please also share your order information in the email.

Ordered 2 bed caps for pickup on…

Ordered 2 bed caps for pickup on 5/3/2026 order # 8-38521075. One for driver side and one for passenger side. Received 2 for passenger side. Upon contacting your company we were told you did not have the driver side available. Sent them both back with return label provided. We paid $94.99 each. When receiving the refund we were charged shipping in the amount of $26.40 for each for return shipping. We received a refund of $68.99 each. This was your error, not ours. I will make sure others know the quality of service provided by your company.

We were unable to locate an order for the driver side rail. If this order was placed under a different email address, please send us the order information to Satisfaction@AmericanTrucks.com and we will be happy to review this order.

For returns, if the item was damaged or the wrong item was shipped, we will pay for the return label. If the customer ordered the incorrect item, or they no longer need the item, we can offer them the option to purchase their own return labels or purchase discounted return labels from us. We show that you elected to purchase the discounted labels. The cost of the label is deducted from the cost of them item when they are returned.

We show that your refund was completed on 5/11/2026.

tailgate chrome in lays…

I ordered my tailgate chrome in lays and received them 4 days later from kansas to Washington State great timing FedEx moves these products fast and tracking was great thanks again keep up the great work and great product

Was sent completely unusable junk

Was sent completely unusable junk! What I ordered and paid for is not what I received! Contacting your so called customer service was a joke, as it was treated like nothing important and complete disregard. This is clearly deceptive sales tactics and an attempt to make money from something that should have never been resold! I have complete proof of misleading and false statements! I will contacting the bbb and the state’s attorney office on this, what is being done is theft by definition! You sold me something listed as very good, and you sent me completely unusable items and 2 different items that are supposed to be a matching set!
