I was skeptical going in about the level of service provided, but reality was it was very simple (all we needed was a consent order, we had agreed everything up front) and much cheaper than quotes for equivalent service from solicitor.
Hopefully never need to use the service again in my lifetime (!) but I recommend Amicable to anyone.

Took the stress out of the divorce process and made things run smoothly. Always efficient with replying to messages and queries.

Using Amicable was the best option for our situation. We both wanted to avoid additional costs via competing solicitors and put our children and their future first.
Dan was very compassionate and sensitive to our situation after 20 years of marriage. He presented the options and arguments fairly and allowed us to make our financial decisions at our own pace.

Amicable certainly took out the stress of getting a divorce, a divorce that we wanted to keep amicable for all involved, as well as wanting to keep costs down to a minimum. There was always someone on the end of the phone or email to answer questions and support us through the process. We would have no hesitation in recommending them.

I was a little concerned whether my interests would be best protected by using Amicable and not my own lawyer, as I had been a stay at home mum for nearly 20 years. However once we started the process I felt very comfortable that my concerns were being listened to by our Amicable lawyer, Rebecca. Whilst I have no experience of divorce the more traditional way, I strongly feel that our experience with Amicable meant the process was a lot quicker and less confrontational than it could have been. Whilst we had our joint sessions, Rebecca was also available for us to contact individually for advice and to discuss our concerns. I definitely feel she had both our best interests, and those of our children, at heart. Whilst the process was still hard emotionally, my ex and I have come out of it on friendly terms which is the best result for our 2 teenage girls.

Relations between my Ex and I were quite friendly throughout our divorce proceedings, and yet, for one reason or another it nevertheless took over four years from separation to sealed Decree Absolute!

I am so thankful that I found Amicable to help with our divorce. I hear horror stories about the amount of time and money and stress others have spent on the process and while it wasn't fun at all, I am so grateful for the calm and patient way that Shreepali dealt with us. Amicable took all of the stress out of what can be a tricky time. Going through a divorce takes more than six months, but Amicable kept us informed of every detail throughout. And did all of the heavy lifting regarding form submissions and other paperwork. If you and your (ex) partner can agree the financial settlement and childcare arrangements between yourselves, then Amicable will do the rest. Highly recommend.

I found our divorce specialist Shreepali to be empathetic, warm, impartial and entirely professional throughot this whole painful process. Without her help I have no doubt this experience would have been so much more difficult to endure.
