Great service at metrocentre

I bought these Straighteners from Lakeside about a year and a half ago cost 220 pounds,they have gone wrong already one of the plates is not working or heating up.I was told at the time they had a life time guarantee, but when I contacted the company I was told that there was an administration fee which I wasn’t told about at the time. I got fed up and threw them away they’ve since offered me new ones for half price which I was tempted to buy but I would still be paying a lot of money for something that didn’t last more than a year and a half. I’ve since ordered some Remington straighteners which was 70 pounds and have a four year guarantee so what does that say,Remington is a reputable company and amory not so much.
