I went to see Alan at Amplitude because I was worried about tinnitus / hearing loss, and wanted to purchase some custom earplugs to wear at gigs, festivals and clubs. Alan did a hearing test and made some impressions of my ears, before ordering the earplugs I wanted from the manufacturer (ACS). Alan is an extremely friendly and knowledgeable clinician who took the time to listen to my issues and explain everything really well. The earplugs work perfectly and I would definitely go and see Alan again.

Went to see Conor as I have been deaf in my right ear for over 8 weeks. It took less than 5 minutes and I was able to hear perfectly again. Totally pain-free, esqusit process and done to the highest quality. Would absolutely recommend and will go back for any follow up or future appointments. Flawless professionalism.

I was experiencing a bit of dizziness after going on a cruise. While I figured it was just the lasting effects of the cruise, I thought it would be beneficial to get my ears checked (since I am aware that your ears affect balance). Thus, I set up an appointment with Conor at the North Clinic. The staff at the front desk was super nice and this continued when I saw Conor. He performed a few tests just to make sure that everything was ok and walked me through the process (and showed me everything). Thankfully, everything was in good shape and no further action is needed (the dizziness from the cruise has gone away). However, if I ever needed to get my ears looked at again, I wouldn’t hesitate to visit Conor at the North Clinic. Great experience!

Alan conducted the home visit with utmost professionalism. He checked my hearing experience meticulously and acknowledged my history of ear trouble as a child.He removed wax from my blocked ear completely painlessly and then gave me a thorough hearing test. He explained each stage of the procedures clearly and required only a clean surface, a stable chair for me and an electric point for his equipment. I am absolutely delighted and reassured by the outcome of his visit and have no hesitation whatsoever in recommending him as an obviously extremely knowledgeable and highly skilled practitioner.

I recently visited Conor and team to have my hearing checked as have had some issues in the last year or so. They were very professional and thorough and gave me an excellent overview on how to care for my hearing both now and going forward, including sending me my results by email.

I would highly recommend Conor and the clinic to anyone.

I went to see Alan at Amplitude Hearing as I was concerned about my hearing and general ear health. We did an advanced hearing test and it turns out I have really good hearing :)
He answered all my questions and gave me a good amount of time. he was very informative and helpful through out.
I would happily return in the future.

Conor is a true professional in hearing. I first met him as I needed wax removal and he was very thorough and attentive throughout. After twelve months I requested that he came and repeated the wax removal as my NHS hearing aids were continually failing. We discussed new hearing aids that he considered would improve my quality of life, he explained thoroughly what was available and what would suit my needs best. Two weeks later as promised he came and did a thorough hearing test and adjusted the new Oticon aids to suit my hearing needs. He is a very calm reassuring person and I am delighted with what he has done for me, I am hearing so much that the old NHS aids did not pick up. There are four programmes on my aids and I really must say the Music setting is phenomenal, the tones are brilliant and I am now enjoying all my old favourites. Conor is a very friendly, relaxed guy who knows everything about the ears. The examinations was very thorough and the conclusions and recommendations were very reassuring.

Worried about my hearing loss, I contacted Conor and was promptly seen. The very thorough examination and hearing tests were carried out professionally and engagingly, with everything shown and explained as we went along. Conor is kindness and compassion personified, listening carefully and making time - these are precious aspects of care that are hard to find nowadays. I thoroughly recommend the exceptional standard of care and advice and generosity of service. I hadn't previously read people's reviews - my appointment followed reading Conor's flyer outside the clinic - but it's great to see the option for fitted swimming ear plugs. I had an excellent experience getting a fitting for ACS custom ear plugs at Amplitude Hearing. Alan was extremely professional and knowledgeable and went to great lengths to explain each step of the process. He notified me when I might experience any discomfort and what it would feel like so I could be prepared - it was very much appreciated. He even offered to show me the inside of my ear with a camera which I declined at the time, but now I'm curious and would probably take him up on it. It was an overall pleasant experience and I will definitely go back in the future.

Ear wax removal by Connor - I have had the ear wax removal procedure carried out a number of times and without a doubt had the best experience with Amplitude. It was a friendly and professional session . It was very interesting to see the graphs of my hearing test results and being able to see on screen the before and after results. Highly recommend this company.

Fantastic service, comprehensive, detailed assessment. Extremely thorough, detailed follow up with pictures. Practice was pleasant and welcoming and Conor was a very nice chap. I would highly recommend!

I visited Conor for a hearing test and wax removal. He was fantastic- professional, thorough and explained everything clearly and concisely. I have mild to moderate hearing loss which my hearing test confirmed and Conor explained hearing aids and all the options available to me. I was able to try out hearing aids during my consultation and am considering getting them to improve my hearing and quality of life.
I can’t recommend Conor highly enough- clearly an expert his field offering exceptional service.

I visited Conor thinking I had wax in my ears- in fact I didn't, but the video examination showed that my ears were looking healthy, which was a comfort. He went on to do a thorough hearing test, and also fitted me for custom made earplugs for sleeping- something I will find incredibly useful as the standard silicone ones are hard to fit. He was very professional, efficient, and pleasant to deal with. I will certainly recommend him.

Excellent consultation with Conor. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend his expertise. I'm a keen swimmer and have had repeated ear infections. Comprehensive hearing test (which was good news) - and I now have a plan including bespoke plugs especially for swimmers. Can't wait to try them out. Many thanks. Simon

I visited Conor after I’d had a nasty ear infection from swimming. My appointment consisted of a full hearing test and quick, pain free micro suction to remove some ear wax.
Both procedures were fully explained ,before and during each treatment.
Conor recommended some custom made swimming ear plugs to help prevent future ear infections and swimmers ear.
I never knew such things existed!!
I went ahead and ordered a pair. I had an impression of my ears taken. The ear plugs took a couple of weeks to make.I chose to have the ear plugs that have a one way valve which enables sound..
On collection, I was shown how to insert and remove them - an easy procedure.
They come with a detachable security cord, which I haven’t found necessary to use as the ear plugs fit snugly. They are very comfortable to wear. I am absolutely thrilled with them.
I would like to add that I found Conor to be very professional, informative and friendly.
From my personal experience I would highly recommend Conor.
