From first contact with Ian, through survey visits, quotation, fitting and follow up the service from Apex Doma is simply excellent and super professional. They are all passionate about their products and service and there is no hard sales, just sound advice and education about going solar with battery. Special shout out has to go to Ian for his unbelievable enthusiasm and commitment to customer, Liam and Jose who fitted the panels on very cold days and Matt and Tom who left very early to get here to complete the electrical fitting in one day. Office team also really helpful and efficient. Good scaffolding contract too. Would highly recommend them in every way. Thanks Apex Doma

From start to Finish they did a great job, the initial survey was done by Ian, very knowledgeable and enthusiastic about solar pv.
All my questions were answered promptly and I was kept informed of the dates for the install.
The install was great, a very neat and professional job, the hand over was well explained in person and via e mail, all the documentation received within the specified time and all together in a pack via e mail.
I've now been running the system for 6 months and apart from a small issue with optimisers communicating ( which was sorted out quickly) and not a fault of Apex Doma, the system has been fantastic and performed as the initial quote.
At a push I could have probably saved a little bit on the job and gone with one of the bigger companies that you see splashed all iver social media, but having a local company with years of genuine experience is well worth it.

Great experience buying solar panels and battery storage from Apex Doma. Ian was very knowledgeable, patient and helpful in explaining everything we needed to know to choose the system we needed. He came to our home and spent a couple of hours on the survey and answering our questions. We had a few quotes and chose Apex because their pricing was transparent, they were helpful, knowledgeable and we felt no pressure to buy. The installation was booked and delayed by a few days owing to bad weather. The installation process was smooth and we were impressed by all members of the team (roofing team and electrical team). They were on time, professional, pleasant and unobtrusive, respectful of our property and explained everything that was going on. A few roof tiles were damaged during the installation process but were replaced. Scaffolding was delayed by a few days coming down (outside the control of Apex) but the installation was relatively quick (4 days) and the scaffolding up for a couple of weeks. Aftercare has also been good, with the provision of useful videos to explain energy tariff options and smart export guarantee. Documentation process for the export tariff has been a little complicated to understand but all in all a positive experience. We're already saving about 40% on our electricity even though it's been misty all week just by charging the battery on a cheap rate period (but that is because we're eligible through also having an air source heat pump). Looking forward to seeing how much we can generate on sunny days!

Great pre and after sales, and a clean neat install. Small hiccup with solar monitoring was soon rectified and would thoroughly recommend. May even want a second battery upgrade too.

From my first meeting with Ian Pownall (who is a tech geek and genuinely passionate about renewable energy) to the installation and commissioning of the system these guys have been super efficient, friendly and knowledgeable. This includes the office staff, roofers and the electricians who's communication is refreshingly honest and transparent. This helpful supportive culture seems to be ingrained in the DNA of the business.
If you are considering getting solar panels you must speak to these guys.

Had wondered why there was no way of heating the hot water when you had solar, Ian and his team emailed me about eddi and how it worked with the cost. After explaining everything to me he then left me to make my mind up as to how easy it would be to heat the water and you can heat it cheaply. When I had made my mind up and placed the order one of his team rang me with an installation date and said if they could do it earlier they would get back to me, later in the day they came back with a earlier date and we agreed.

Apex Doma Ltd got a great team, they are professional, friendly, and responsible to the clients, I am very pleased with their service from the very beginning to the end of the installation, and they helped me out with the export application as well. Very efficient response all the time.

I will strongly recommend Apex Doma to anyone considering installing solar panels and batteries.

Thank you Apex Doma! The roof fitting team of Liam and Charlie and electrician Sam were polite, friendly and efficient. They turned up when they said they would, got on with the job in hand and tidied up after themselves and cleaned out the gutters while they were up on the roof. Really pleased with them and with our solar panels, inverter and battery which have reduced our usage of electricity from the grid to zero. Excellent job!

Recently had an entire system installed by Apex Doma (Solar, Battery, EV charger) and I am still astounded by the level of customer service given and quality of work.

Initial consultation was done by Ian, with him being on site for over an hour discussing everything with me in detail. Happy to dig into technical details with myself being quite well read beforehand. Out of 5 quotes we received Apex was 1 of only 2 that came for an on site visit before quoting.

With the level of service given we expected them to be the most expensive but they weren't. Competitively priced, but a mile ahead in attention to detail.

The install went well, but had a faulty gateway which was no fault of Apex, however they came out swiftly to investigate and was completely resolved with a replacement within 10 days.

Matt, who was on site for all the electrical work was fantastic and extremely tidy. Cleared up after each day and gave a full rundown of status, alongside remaining activities.

Honestly couldn't fault them at all and really pleased we chose Apex for our install.

Trust
If I was not to trust Apex Dorma to do a really expert job, then why after having 7 solar panels and 2 number 13.5 KWH batteries fitted by them. Why would I go back to them to have 15 more panels plus a third Battery by them?
Answer, they listen to you and their workmen will take time to answer your questions. Plus there workmanship is second to none.
