Amazing!

So, first off, for transparency, I know NOTHING about scooters, have never ridden one in my life. I have in my younger days (66 now) been an avid skateboard rider and raced road bikes for some years but scooter, not even a push scooter. So am I an expert, by no means, but do I recognize quality when I see it, you bet yah. To say I am happy with this machine is an understatement, the design, the obvious quality, the service and support, so far, outstanding. I took delivery a day ago, charged it up overnight and ran through all the settings. Today's first ride was about 20klm's with an average speed of 24kph. I actually locked it at 40kph max speed in Sport mode, comfort was 25 and Eco I set to 15. Acceleration I had set to 4 (plenty hard enough for me) and regen braking to 1 (again, perfect for me). I did get it up to 40 a few times but DAM that is fast, do I want to go 5okph with it, well not now bit I won't say I wont. This thing is a beast and for all you older riders, be ready, it's heavy, at 65 lbs you don't realize just how heavy it can be walking up stairs with it, I will have to star doing some squats. All this to say, I love this and I will be using this most of the time and my wife can use the car, for me, this simply makes more sense. Thanks Apollo, great product, could not be happier!

Service Nightmare - UPDATE

After only a few months of use the back tire went flat... Not a huge deal even though I was very surprised as these were supposed to have self-healing tires and my driving is pretty smooth. After months of waiting for a tire to come in stock I got one and tried to change it based on Apollo's videos. The screws immediately stripped (like right away) which was really frustrating so I reached out to Apollo and they sent another video on how to use a Dremel to cut a gash into the stripped screws to use. These also immediately stripped... Now I was forced to drive two hours to take it to the nearest service vendor and when I did I found out that their guidance essentially ruined the screws and would have never worked because they used industrial glue that they have a process to remove... because of Apollo's guidance I'm down $300 for labor so far and they can't guarantee that the motor won't be ruined with what they have to do to get the screws out – if the motor gets ruined then I need another $120 motor that is NEVER in stock. All this from a flat tire after just a few months. I just can't recommend this company or their products after this experience.

UPDATE – If I could rate zero starts I would. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY. They do not support their customers or stand by their products. I finally got my scooter back from local repair and the next day I picked it up Apollo finally replied to me and told me that they can't do anything because I already paid for the repair... they were the ones who told me to take it there and I was in conversation with them throughout the multiple week repair process and now I'm punished because I finally picked it up and paid the $300 for the tire replacement. They offered me an accessory if I wanted one... absolute joke.

Disappointing with Order support

From the time I make my purchase to any questions that is technical. They're always there to help. Their website and the amount of "how-to" video tutorials they have posted online really making this purchase easy.

I'm going to edit my experience with this company as it has fallen off the grid with any updates. Email everyday and still haven't heard anything.

Worst purchase of my life

At this point I have bought 4 apollo scooter. Although this brand makes stylish scooter and when they work, they are great. I've have notice a quality control issue with their phantom 2.0 Scooter and they know it's terrible because they won't even let you leave a review in the website for this product. You can review any other product, but the link to review phantom 2.0 is not working. wonder why? I preordered this scooter and the day it arrived its was making rattling noises. a few hours after receiving I wrote to costumer support and it took me over 2 months for them to give me a replacement. They delayed the replacement as much as possible and told me it was an easy fix.... However, they were not able to repair. When the replacement arrived, the controller stopped working within a month and the scooter would not even turn on. I have been back and forward with support now for an additional 2 months and at this point I still have a none functioning scooter. Costumer support is atrocious and the have you go in circles. they expect you to do all the work to fix their defective products. It is nearly impossible for them to send replacement parts and a new person answers support emails each time. meaning that they don't have clue of what is going on. long story short. The phantom 2.0 is one of the worst purchases I have made in my life. costumer support is just a waste of time that makes the situation even worst. I would try to look for other alternatives unless you absolutely love the style and are willing to take a risk. Just know support is going to be an absolute nightmare that will test how far your patience goes

Apollo City Best commuter Scooter

This was my first commuter scooter, and after a black hole of information as few brands stood out. Apollo was not my top choice at the time but after comparing commuter there was no one that competed. Apollo City checked every box with the customer support team there to answers any/all of my questions. After receiving, the Apollo city I knew right away I made the right choice. Apollo City is easy to put together and came with an inspection check sheet that just reassured me this was a quality scooter. The Regen Brake makes it so you never have to put wear on the break pads, and became a one of my favorite features, the suspension is top notch, and you feels like your bouncing on air, the tires are really grippy and feel good on road or gravel. All around Great commuter Scooter.

Awesome Scooter, but rough start

This was my first electric scooter purchase. I thought about going used, or getting a much cheaper Segway option, but I know myself and I would end up wanting something better eventually. This is the perfect balance of power and portability. Also, this is a seriously cool looking scooter. I took it to the great park in Irvine, CA and I had 3 people comment about how good it looks. I'm glad I went with dual motor because I live in hilly areas and the scooter has enough power to get up the hills at about 15 mph. Couldn't tell you the hill grade %. I'm 5'8" 160 lbs.

1.) So out of the box, the grip mat was peeling up, and the plastic protective wrapping was stuck to it. After contacting the company, they responded within 24 hours with a few tips to re-adhere with a heat gun. Re-assured me they would help me regardless of my efforts to repair failed. Their recommendations did not work for me so the company offered to send out a replacement grip mat and an accessory to make things right. They DID want to charge me for shipping which was ridiculous, so I pushed back and they agreed to cover everything. We'll see how that mat replacement goes. Hopefully it’s not a headache.

2.) Getting into Ludo mode. It’s really frustrating when you spend this much on a product and either the software is glitchy, or it hasn't been officially rolled out. I had to contact them to request for them to manually add the update into my app. Really weird process if you ask me. In my opinion, companies lose credibility when they haven't ironed everything out before promising it in their listing. This stuff just needs to work before you start telling people about it. I know that bugs happen and app software needs to be updated, but Ludo mode was listed as a feature in the Go's product listing, and when it arrived I spent collectively 1.5 hours researching, emailing Apollo, and then trying methods to get it to work. After the app update, it still didn't work and I had to do this weird 9 button click thing, with the risk of the rear wheel motor powering on if you accidently click it 10 times so you have to put it up on a stand. Really strange...anyway, Ludo mode works now, and I don't notice much difference than before.

3.) I wouldn't remove a star for this, but as others have mentioned, the location of the blink buttons is not ideal. I personally would have them on the opposite side so you can click the button with your index finger. I would also reconfigure the regen brake so you can smash the manual brake at the same time as the regen brake. I'm sure they are aware of this, and will be re-designed in future models. Not a deal breaker for me because I feel that the regen brake works really well, but not well enough for emergency braking. Lastly, I feel the front headlight is weak sauce, and has a weird square output, no adjustability. I ended up using a brighter one from my mountain bike anyway. The stem light is cool, somewhat useful.

Without these issues, I could easily give the Go 5 stars. 5 stars for service for sure. Sonny was very professional and friendly through a frustrating process. A response time of 24-48 hours is OKAY. When you're trying to troubleshoot something, that is a lot of time, but I'd rather have quality customer service and my hunch is that's the best they can do without out-sourcing.

The scooter is really smooth, quiet, and fun.

Hopefully it lasts! I’d also recommend the company make an effort to ensure potential customers know the stem will not break. Out in the scooter community, Apollo has a poor reputation with their stems breaking.

Customer service really made my experience wonderful.

I thought I was going to have a hard time ordering the Apollo phantom 2.0 52v from Canada to the U.S, but with a little help from the Apollo team, everything went smooth and I was able to get my order placed quickly. I have had The Pro for a couple weeks

I have had The Pro for a couple weeks, mostly commute to work. The is a complete review:
Frame: very solid ( The reason for warranty)
Suspensions: Very good
Battery: good so far
Speed and Handling: Good and decent
Tech: very poor. ( Bluetooth connectivity is very bad and my phone is good with everything. It will disconnect on the quad lock. Which is a big low considering that most the controls are through that. )
Misc. I was told that it had the Connect+ on the specs and they discontinued it. This was a major thing cuz that was a major selling point. )

I have bought an apollo phantom V4X…

I have bought an apollo phantom V4X last year and the best purchased I ever did. No issues about it, got my first flat tire because of a screw, which is an east fix. I just used it to work and home, nothing crazy about it just for commuting. Customer support are fast and knowledgable about my concern and provided me with options that help me in my needs.

I am currently in possession of the Apollo City Pro, my very first Apollo scooter, and I must say, I am quite fond of it. Impressed by its performance, I made the decision to upgrade to the Apollo Pro. Let me tell you, the Apollo Pro did not disappoint. It was truly an exceptional ride. Unfortunately, my Apollo Pro is currently in the repair shop due to a battery mishap on my part. As a result, I am back to using my Apollo City Pro. It has been a whole week since I dropped off my Apollo Pro at the Promech repair service shop, their partner. I was not expecting the diagnosis and repair process to take this long. I am hopeful that my Apollo Pro will be back in top condition soon. I am eagerly anticipating the day when I can ride that magnificent machine once again.

1 month in on the Apollo Go

I have had the Apollo Go for less than a month. So far, I love it. It handles very well, even at top speed which, for me has been 27 mph. I weigh 185, so I think that is about right. I believe I will get it to 28 at some point. The regen brakes work really well, and never use the handle brakes. The suspension is good, especially coming from a scooter that had not. The app is really easy to use and to see stats and make any changes you may want to. I really like the headlights too, very bright.

Apollo Phantom V4 forever

My Apollo City scooter had a issue with the frame I emailed Apollo and Pedro was very helpful on assisting me with my problem. I shipped the scooter back to Apollo and was able to upgrade to the Phantom 2.0. Yes there was a price difference but it was fair.
