A complete Robbery !!

Thanks to the promotion from Just Eat, I received a month trial with this Apple TV, I was curious to watch F1 with Brad Pitt and Hijack.
The F1 not bad and Hijack first season it’s just too long, can’t believe a season for such story, wasn’t that good, as it’s been commercialised. The second season has three episodes and they still doing the fourth and I waited 2 weeks and nothing arrived when it’s mentioned that new release comes every Wednesday but in the end it’s an Hoax . Family Plan one and two are the best as free to watch, other movies are boring and the good ones the prices are starting from 7£ each to view which it’s a complete robbery, because you pay already 12.99£ per month. Just Ridiculous

Very little new content

Very little new content, there top 10 movie releases very rarely change, so many series that go on & on & on with very little happening… there are a few really good series, that are not dragged out… If you love America or want to be American or are American you will love it… There are other countries in the world.. & i do like America but one can only enjoy so much..The English content( what there is) is generally quite good particularly Slow Horses…

Almost unusable

Almost unusable and as a result I have cancelled my subscription. Initial sign up was tortuous and very difficult to set up security and subsequently the app constantly signs me out and forces me through difficult security hoops. Apple desperately trying to protect their revenue has ensured that actually they have fewer customers.

I purchased an Iwatch 10 because of all…

I purchased an Iwatch 10 because of all the hype about how it would track your sleep, your exercise etc...It is marketed as a SMART WATCH. I beg to differ. Even though in do not disturb mode/I'm asleep mode, the watch tells makes a loud noise and "taps" my wrist to tell me "its time to stand". Then every morning scorns me for not getting a good nights sleep, Smart Watch or Idiot Watch.,, or maybe its programmers are not too bright.

Appkle TV on Amazon Prime is a rip-off!

I subscribed to Apple TV on Amazon Prime for £9.99 the same price as it is on the apple TV App, but I discovered you can only access a tiny percentage of Apple TV's content on Amazon Prime compared to the complete content on Apple TV's app. They don't tell you, what a rip-off! I am disgusted by both companies lack of clarity.

On roku , they advertise 3 months free , then $12.99 a month afterwards . After jumping through all their hoops for about 2 hours , I ended up with nothing and no service .Evidently you must have to go out and purchase a apple product to get the deal that they advertise . I would give 0 stars

An error occurred. Please try again. And again etc

I subscribed to Apple TV through Google Chrome yesterday and watched a programme. After I logged on today and started to watch the same programme I got a message to say "An error occurred, please try again". I cleared the browser and logged in over and over again, to no avail - the same error message. I tried Firefox and got the same error message. I could not find any indication on Apple TV that this was a recognised error message and no way of contacting someone to find out what to do. Then I tried Edge and it worked. All on the same computer. Why? I now have to log in every time I use Apple TV as it doesn't remember me from one visit to the next. Who knows what will happen tomorrow? What a useless company. I have already cancelled my subscription.

First of all

First of all, their website is horrible to navigate. Second, when you call to cancel a subscription they won't give you a confirmation email or anything in regards your cancellation. It's undeniably insulting with all the technology. They can't confirm that you canceled a subscription. Everybody just needs to stop buying and using Apple altogether. It's horrible

Tried to log in to my Apple TV app…

Tried to log in to my Apple TV app while I was abroad. Didn't receive codes, got log out out of all my Apple TV apps, including one in UK on my TV. Now apparently need to wait 72(!!!) h for them to reset it. Do I pay for those 3 days I can't use it? Yes ..
Like how hard it's to change set up for them to reset it in one h???

Tried a 30 day trial… didn’t like it at all. Clumsy , awkward stupid formats.
Went to cancel the subscription after about 7 days. Couldn’t do it without cancelling my Apple Music subscription. They bundled music and tv, made the an item. To get out of the tv I had to get out of music. Lost all my playlists and favourite pieces. Mighty pissed off indeed. Avoid at all costs.

Never again, unable to login…

The service updated a major upgrade mid December 2025, since then I have been locked out of all services. Been onto customer services for over 4 hrs, uninstalled everything, used multiple devices to try and login without any success. Avoid this platform, it is terrible.

too painfull to watch anything

It is too irritating to try to watch anything due to constant buffering, on 2 different smart tv's, no issues with any other app. Not much I want to see, it seems anything I want to see has to be purchased, good thing I have done a free trial, I would never pay for this.

apple tv bait and switch. I got apple tv through amazon subscription because starting 2026 formula 1 tv will not be available in the US and appletv has the exclusive broadcast rights. Up until the very last days of 2025 it was stated that the f1 content would be available to apple tv + subscribers. Now it has been presented as an add on subscription at an indeterminate price per season. For any additional subscription price it is a significant price increase over the $79/yr with the original f1tv subscription. Once my family and I have watched their meager selection of content, we will be cancelling our subscription. Bail and switch is not something that we will tolerate.

Terrible service

The Apple TV app on our TV suddenly failed for no reason. Said check the Internet service, which was fine. Reinstalling didn't work. Deleting wasn't possible. Very difficult to reach customer service, which didn't help.

Pretty good service when it's working

Pretty good service when it's working, the streaming is smooth and reliable and there's a good selection of things to watch.

Loses two stars because it's a pain in the ass if you're trying to use it without having Apple hardware. I was unable to accept new EULAs on my ancient Apple account without getting a friend to log me in on his Macbook, because there was literally no way to do it on the website, and the website can be a bit clunky and glitchy on non-Safari browsers.
