These scammers are at it again

These scammers are at it again. Using Sparta Telecom and setting up bogus direct debits. Avoid at all costs. They continue to phone elderly people and then claim the person agreed to an unwanted and unneeded contaract.

Scammers - Avoid!!!

Avoid at all costs!!!
Phoned my mum who has dementia and conned her out of money via a Direct Debit.
Called them and was promised a refund (heavy Asian accent) but nothing came.
Tried again today (Feb 28th) on their helpline (0800 778 9104) only to find it doesn't work.
Pure evil!!

Keep calling to 'renew' their scam…

Keep calling to 'renew' their scam insurance that was cancelled ages ago and told not to call again.

Works more like a protection racket in that paying them is the only way to stop being called daily by them or their associates in the fraud/scam call centre in Luton / Mumbai

Scammers

Scammers. Aggressive attitude, I now have my elderly dad's phone due to scammers and given him a new phone. I was told I have to let him speak to them and I refused and then got agressive abuse on the phone. I told him he is a scammer and he argued with me. I told him my father has moved house and he was demanding his new address to which I repeatedly refused.

Avoid this company.

Avoid this company.
My 89 year old mum got hooked by them in 2022. They contacted her the other day saying that as she was such a good customer they would reduce her payment to £149. Thankfully my mum asked them to get in touch with me. I found out from the bank that they are indeed scammers. Avoid anything from Future 5G Ltd which they use on direct debit payments from your account. Beware!!!

1 Star is far too high for this bunch…

1 Star is far too high for this bunch of criminals who have taken many hundreds of Pounds from my 84-year father via “Sparta Telecom”. No idea what service they claimed to be providing, other than a bank account draining service.
Best to try and claim back via the banks and report to the police.

Shameless Scammers targeting the elderly

Like the many other negative reviews this company has taken £249 out of my 95 year old mums account without any authority. I am now trying to deal with this through the bank as my mum is not well enough to deal with it. They call her on a daily basis trying to get her to sign up to their cover to the point she now dare not answer the phone. They just dont take no for an answer. I will be reporting them to the police

Scammers preying on elderly

Unknown to me convinced my elderly mother with dementia to take out a "home appliance warranty" over the phone at a cost of £170 a year. Only discovered a year later when the 2nd yearly payment went out as I now have access to her bank to check these things. Total scum.

Avoid avoid avoid

Somehow this company was able to extract money from my elderly mothers bank account without her knowing or understanding why.
Appears to be targeting the vulnerable.
Be very aware.

Just like everyone else

Just like everyone else, found a letter today that my father needed to pay £170. Wanted to cancel but there was £70 cancellation fee. Queried about a 4 year contract which they couldn’t tell me anything. The operators name was ‘Max Johnson’. Phoned the bank, they said check everyday just in case they try and out the direct debit back on. Scumbags, the lot of them.

Dishonest company targeting the elderly and vulnerable

This company simply cold calls the elderly and vulnerable and does a hard sell to get them to set up a direct debit for appliance cover they do not need. They did this to my elderly mother. The company has no website or email contact address, and a quick look online shows the company moving office location several times in the last couple of years (Luton, Birmingham and Manchester) - this all suggests a company who are acting dishonestly and who don't want to be contacted. Their telephone lines are answered, but are open from 10am to 5pm, not from 9am as their direct debit confirmation letter suggests.

Do not be taken in

Do not be taken in. These guys are scammers. Tried to take £144 by direct debit from my elderly neighbour with dementia who keeps giving her bank details over the phone unfortunately. When I caught them ringing her, the company got very angry with me like a reputable company just wouldn't.

Exceptional Service and Great Resolution!

Since the engineer couldn't fix our TV screen, Reliable Appliance Repairs went the extra mile and bought us a brand new Hisense 55 Inch 4K Smart TV! I was really amazed at how they dealt with the situation, turning a potential hassle into something really cool. The new TV is amazing, and everything went without a hitch. I highly suggest Reliable Appliance Repairs for their outstanding customer service and professionalism!

This is a scam

This is a scam. My 90 year old father who has recently suffered a stroke was phoned by......I wpold say company but they are not this person and I say person because he is only one man with no employees. He uses different names when you ask for his name all of them british names I questioned him about this as he has an accent and he told me his father is welsh. LIES!!!!!
My father can hardly speak and finds it difficult to hear and understand due to his stroke. This man would have had to talk my father through giving his bank account details. That alone should have made him realise that he was conning someone not only old but someone with disabilities but no he still took 144 pounds from my father which is over half my dads pension.
what is he actually offering if an appliance goes wrong there ? Absolutley nothing , We googled the company and through compannies house and the con artists name is Singh Gopal Prasad and his home address is 37 Flint Close Luton LU33 3LX I have reported him to action fraud and the police Please hang up if someone rings you from this so called company and do not give out any of your bank details. It is so sad when people like this con elderly people that have worked hard all their life out of their money. Please if ever frauded ring the police or action fraud so we can stop these fraudsters He got very cross when I use his correct name telling him I would report him and instantly offered a refund, Watch this space
