Beware of renewal tactics

During my service today, our rep tried to quickly get us to renew our service while at the door. There was no communication that our contract was up so it completely caught me off guard. I don't blame him, I'm sure his bosses thought it would be an easy way to get another year of service booked but has completely turned me off from wanting to continue working with a company that does this.
