Never again Arche! I loved my Arche boots and have purchased 5 pair over the years. Then the most expensive pair needed a sole repair. After having contacted Arche several times I had to learn that they cannot help as the model is no longer available. Also no shoemaker can repair this kind of sole. And no compensation was offered. I am deeply disappointed with the responses I had received regarding the repair issues. To hear that four out of the five pairs I purchased—each with the same sole—cannot be repaired is utterly unacceptable. I invested a significant amount of money in what I believed to be high-quality footwear, only to be told that once the soles are defective, the boots are essentially unusable, despite the rest of the boots being in perfectly good condition. From both an ecological and economic standpoint, this response is completely unreasonable. The idea that I would simply dispose of these boots is both frustrating and wasteful.I have long been a loyal customer and have always praised the Arche brand, but this experience has completely changed my perception. At this point, I can no longer justify supporting a company that fails to offer solutions to such a fundamental issue. As a result, I will no longer make any future purchases, i will never again recommend their products to others and I can only warn everybody from spending money on Arche boots. After having read Arche's reply: not helpful as local cobblers cannot repair this kind of sole either - as communicated to Arche several times. That means disposal of boots that are otherwise perfectly ok. What a damn waste of resources and what an ignorant attitude of the brand.
