Fast delivery

I've been purchasing from Arka now for several years. Each time, the quality of design and materials have been top-notch and reflected an overall quality-design aesthetic that really spoke to me. Shipping is always fast. Customer service is always on-point and friendly. On this purchase, however, both pieces (hanging snake earrings and ouroboros hoops) did not meet the usual quality standards that I have come to expect from Arka. On both items, the closure is problematic.

For the Ouroboros hoops, the closure does not easily snap into place. Since the closure and the hinge are on opposing sides--and both are the heavy spots in the design--it is very likely that when the closure fails and I will be missing my jewelry. (I purchased these to loop through my flesh-tunnels.)

For the hanging cobra snakes, the closure wire is very bendable, and therefore does not offer the necessary level of "spring" to keep the jewelry in place in my ear... or even my ear-tunnels. I cannot even get them to securely close without assistance. If I were to put these in my ears and lay down for a nap, the wire would likely be bent so severely that I might not be able to repair them manually myself.

Poor design--especially on the latter. This is not the review I was hoping to write. That said, Arka did refund me for the hanging Cobra snakes, and Mark's communication was top-notch.

I will likely try Arka again the in future. Hopefully the next purchase will be better!
