Stay away from these people

Dealing with Arrow Conveyancing has been terrible, one of the worst experiences of my life. They’ve done so many things in these six months that I can’t even remember them all—it has been exhausting. At some point, I even started to wonder if they were scamming me and whether they were actually real solicitors. And they even lied to me—they told me they were waiting for responses from the agency, but when I went there in person, the agency called them and confirmed it wasn’t true. Delay after delay, and every time I contacted them, they kept asking for the same information I had already provided. Their communication with each other was even worse than their communication with me. I wouldn’t recommend them even to my worst enemy. A natural birth without an epidural would have been less painful. If I had to give them a rating, it would be minus 10. After three months of working with them, I broke my leg in December. I asked them if I could have the house by the end of February so I could arrange the move. I contacted them at the end of February, only to find out that they had put everything on hold and done absolutely nothing just because I had broken my leg. They basically told me that they could now start working on my case again… I wanted to cry like a child. I was sure I would get the house by the end of February, and I had already booked time off to move.

After another month of lies and delays, and with no idea what they were even waiting for, I had to push them and told them that if I didn’t get the house within a week, I didn’t want it anymore. Magically, they handed it over exactly a week later. I was more shocked than ever.

On top of that, the broker who put me in touch with them gave me an initial quote, but they ended up charging me nearly double. I don’t even know why I paid them because it felt like I was the one doing their job, chasing everyone. They should have paid me. After that I went on Google to see the reviews and I wish I had done this before! Everybody had been in contact with them had had the worst experience of their life!

Stay away from these people—they will ruin your life.

EXCEPTIONAL SERVICE

I’ve been delighted with the service I have received from Arrow Conveyancing, our conveyancer Kayleigh Molloy has been outstanding. Without failure if I have emailed Kayleigh with a query she has replied within the day, sometimes within the hour! Her service has been exceptional.
As someone with little confidence in using the internet she has been extremely patient and understanding; her reassurance has made what could have been a very stressful experience incredibly smooth and straightforward.
I had worried that using an online service would be impersonal but Kayleigh has proved me wrong. From the onset I felt that she was providing an individualised service and that she cared about our house sale. I cannot stress enough how reassuring this was. I’m really pleased she is also dealing with my onward purchase.
I will certainly recommend your company and would mention Kayleigh in person because of the high quality of her work.
Thank you Kayleigh

This is one of those ‘if I could give zero I would’ reviews and with a capitals PLEASE AVOID! Please please don’t get fooled by the low quote fee - spend more and get a competent company. My flat still hasn’t gone through - a simple no chain transaction with no excuses. I have had to chase for every single update and to get anything done. At no point whatsoever was anything done without heavy chasing. I didn’t even get given a named person for weeks. I was then passed around multiple people, none of whom really ever responded to my emails. They sat in my case and apparently did absolutely nothing until January. They did not advocate for me - if I hadn’t pushed back I would have been on the hook for almost £1000 in extra fees. The delays caused solely by Arrow must amount to about 8 weeks. The other side are also slow, but at least contactable. Most of the time, arrow will not answer via any method.

Arrow Conveyancing

This company did the conveyancing on my recent house purchase.
I was initially nervous about using them as they are based in Leicester and I live in the South West but from the outset the process was straightforward and communicated to me effectively by text, phone and email. All of the steps toward the final completion were easy to follow and I was guided clearly on what I needed to do. My conveyancer Layla Mosely was extremely professional, she always responded quickly to my queries and went above to put my mind at rest when I was anxious. The whole process only took 8 weeks from case allocation to completion and this was primarily due to Layla working very hard to get that done swiftly without any unnecessary delay.
I would certainly recommend Arrow and would not hesitate to use them again if I decided to sell my home.

Fantastic experience

I had a really positive experience with this company - Ama Bruce handled both my recent sale and purchase, she was absolutely brilliant. It was quite a stressful time due to the fact my buyer was particularly demanding and inpatient but Ama worked so hard to keep everything on track and made sure everything was completed seamlessly. She kept me updated as to where things were up to at each stage, she was always transparent about what was happening and why. She acted promptly and efficiently and was always so calm and patient with me. I really am very grateful.

Disgusting Conveyancers / Shady Tactics

We chose Arrow Conveyancing as they were recommended by L&C Mortgages and boy that was a mistake. Our house purchase was the most uncomplicated purchase out there, no chain on either side and first time buyers.

Our assigned conveyancer, Adam Houghton, I'm sure he's a nice person outside of work, but he's absolutely terrible at communication. He is one of their senior conveyancers. We wouldn't hear from him for weeks and would have to constantly chase to get absolutely any communication from him. He would never give anything in writing and would always phone with a promise to get stuff done and then not get anything done without constant chasing.

It was impossible to ever call and get through to him from reception and he never responded to any emails we sent him. It's a miracle we managed to complete on the day that they had promised.

The worst part of this experience, is that with a week and a couple days to complete, we had zero communication from the conveyancers whether we had even exchanged or what the hell was going on with our purchase, and then they did end up communicating with us, but only to slap us with the bill and to demand that we pay otherwise they will not complete the purchase for us. They also tacked on £350 of extra "fees" onto the bill even though this was supposed to be a "fixed fee" conveyancer. We could have disputed these extra fees with them, but that would have delayed our completion, which is entirely why they do this disgusting strategy of only sending the bill right before completion with a whole bunch of extra fees.

Arrow Conveyancing continues the stereotype of solicitors/conveyancers being the worst part of buying a house.

We still haven't received the title deeds and it's been a while since completing.

Absolutely disgusting company, do. not. use. Choose literally anyone else.

Avoid this solicitors

Avoid this solicitors. No end of issues, can barely get them on the phone or to respond to emails. They constantly missed information causing delays. Most of the things they should be chasing or requesting I had to do myself. Mistake after mistake. They have caused more stress on top of what is already stressful with selling a home. I wouldn’t recommend them to anyone.

Do not touch. go with an established local solicitor.

A lack of communication and a total inability to contact them. Their phone will rarely be answered and when they are and you are forwarded to another person it will always go to answer phone and you will not be able to leave a message as it will be full.

If you change properties, due to a sale falling through or you pulling out, they will put you back to the new client list and if the estate agent or anybody else attempts to contact them regarding your purchase they will be told that Arrow have not been instructed by you (Because they have put you back as a new client awaiting instruction).

If you require anything quickly, forget it. You will have to wait at least a week or two for any replies to E-mails. When you do eventually get a reply it is likely to be a cut and paste "your Email has been noted"

Arrow almost cost me my purchase by telling the Estate agent multiple times over 3 weeks that they were not acting for me, despite being informed of all the the EA details and the details of my new property and having me already as a client from a sale that fell through. In the eyes of the EA and seller I appeared to not be serious and not know what I was doing and they considered taking another offer.

After dropping Arrow and instructing a local solicitor, the contrast between the two was eye opening. I was kept informed throughout the purchase, I could contact the solicitor and their secretary or the solicitor would answer within a day, and everything went smoothly.

Property buying experience - bad experience. Avoid at any cost

1. They do not have client portal to login and check the overall flow and activity check list. Any other conveyancing which charge the same price have better portal.
2. It is not possible to reach out to them, either to the assigned conveyancer or their reception operator. If you manage to get through, the only response is "the conveyancer is busy and they will respond".
3. It takes minimum 5 days to get a simple response, especially at the closer stage.
4. They put your case on hold until the end and you will be thrown with surprises at the end without any options to think due to closer dates.
5. There is no escalation contact for this company, though you may get an ID, but they don't respond.

Terrible communication

No need to go into too much detail as its the same as other negative reviews - appalling communication consisting of 0 phone calls with the case handler in a year and a half despite requesting. Slow replies to emails along with delaying sending documents to me.

If you're looking to progress quickly, choose somewhere else.

8 months for a no chain either side

8 months for a no chain either side sale, ridiculous. I would avoid this company at all costs. My buyer used them and they were diabolical. No communication for weeks on end, despite being chased. Don’t inform people they are going on annual leave, even at the late stages of the transaction. Issues with the bank account they use meaning the transfer of funds were significantly delayed! If you’re wanting a quick sale, do not even consider. Not even worth 1 star.

Do NOT touch this company

Do NOT touch this company! Dealt with them during a remortgage. Absolutely appalling treatment. Refuse to return calls or emails and after completion, had to chase them daily for the funds to pay debtors, only to receive emails stating that they have overpaid companies and want the funds back! Heather and Allison both need sacking! I make a complaint, that was dealt with by Paige, who unsurprisingly, came down on their side and was absolutely useless and unhelpful just like her colleagues. The company that I used for the remortgage is no longer dealing with them. Nightmare of a company!!

Kayleigh Molloy

Kayleigh Molloy was the conveyancer that we used
through Yopa to sell my flat. Kayleigh kept me informed
of all the emails that were sent to the buyers solicitors and the management company who are the freeholders of my flat. My leasehold flat was sold within a week but unfortunately took nearly 7months for everything to go through due to delays with the buyers solicitors and my own management company. I would definitely use Kayleigh again for future conveyancing.

Had very bad experience with Arrow C

Had very bad experience with Arrow C. Done many remortgages but this company is utterly useless. Paperwork was lost, instead of taking proactive steps to find it or reissue they simply sent same message again and again to lender for months on end. They couldn’t even complete on the agreed date after months of delay, even after all the paperwork was in place. Would never use again. Avoid!

AVOid

I regret so much not doing my homework before accepting Arrow Conveyancing’s quote. What a joke!

Without doubt, the worst experience with a professional services provider in my 38 years of existence (speaking as a professional services provider myself). To begin with, it is impossible to get through to anyone of consequence using the tel number they give you. Calls always end up in a switchboard black hole.

The entire process of buying my first home was made even more stressful by the total lack of communication and apathy shown by Arrow. My case handler, Rianne Jordan was not at all helpful. It felt very much like they churn out documentation and reports and don’t stop to think if the messaging has landed with the client. Often attachments were wrong. I didn’t ever get the feeling that my case handler was on top of things - which is something one looks for in one’s advisor. I was struck dumb to find a glowing review from another reviewer. I am anmazed that a person could be capable of performing at such extremes. Either that or I just caught her on a bad day EVERY TIME!

Arrow was recommended to me by Better (mortgage broker) and towards the end there wasn’t a single time when I didn’t have to go crying to Better to chase Rianne to reply to my email.

I am sorry to be so openly critical but I believe it is warranted and I stand by my review.

Really poor experience with these

Really poor experience with these. I could never get my handler or her two assistants in the phone. It rings and then says mailbox full for them all.

The communication was shocking, I hadn’t heard anything for weeks and chased them up to see if we had an exchange date and the response just said “completion 21/11”? Which was 7 days later.

No explanation of the discussions with the vendors, no comment as to exchange, I hadn’t even seen a copy of the contract so how could I have committed to a completion date!

An when I raised my issues over the telephone I found the handler, Arama Lemon rude. She spoke over me repeatedly.

Would not recommend these to anybody. The only reason I went with them and didn’t change is because I was told I had to use their service to get the mortgage.
