Excellent art classe
Both my children love their art k classes. My son (13) has now been going regularly for several years and is really enjoying the secondary school art classes now. He has the opportunity to to work on some quite in depth projects and build his skills. My younger daughter (10) has mostly done holiday clubs so far, but they are the only holiday clubs she will even consider going to without a good friend and always comes home buzzing and proud of her work. She will be starting regular classes from next term.

This is lovely to see and thank you so much for these kind words. It is great to see how B has worked hard on both his Hockney and Jo Rance and especially the collaborative project for OXO which was the tree trunk - it looked amazing and hope I can see it in the exhibition in London when it is up :). I also cant wait to see how B gets on in the classes as I think she will do a lovely job as she knows the studio well now and works hard in her development and thought process as well. My 6 year old boy and 9 year old girl spent the day here. They had a fantastic time and came back with some beautiful paintings.

Great holiday workshop s
My girls really enjoyed the holiday workshops. The staff were friendly and encouraging, and the children came home proud of the art work they had made. We will definitely enrol them in more classes.

Florence is 6 and it was her first time at art k. She did the whole day and loved the teachers and the projects. She bought home two pieces of art which she was really proud of and we were all very impressed with! She would love to go again. Thank you

Guaranteed fun
My children always enjoy their time at Art K, Hersham/ Walton on Thames. It’s not just felt tips and paper, it’s every type of medium from clay to water colours - obviously clay is their favourite. Emma and her team are so lovely, enthusiastic and also talented artists. Not cheap but something my children actually enjoy!

During your child's session, concerns arose that had not been fully apparent to us beforehand. As soon as these became clear, we contacted you by phone, text and email and put exceptional measures in place to support your child's wellbeing and safety during the workshop.
On this occasion, the resources allocated to our priorities, meant we could not maintain the service, and the service became unsustainable for all.
We appreciate that this outcome was disappointing for both you and your child. We sincerely wish you success in finding an activity that provides the environment and support that best meets their needs and allows them to enjoy being creative with confidence.
art-K supports many students with a wide range of diagnosis by contacting parents who disclose them in advance, to ensure our low pupil-to-teacher ratios will allow us to provide a high level of individual attention while maintaining an environment that encourages creativity, exploration and self-expression within the studio environment of paints and brushes.
Art-K Putney holiday workshop
My child loved the whole day and came home with some Beautiful paintings that will definitely be framed! The staff were warm and caring and helped guide her when she needed inspiration.

Over the moon!!
My 9 year old Daughter has been attending for almost a year and has enjoyed every session. It’s the best part of her week which she tells me often. She talks endlessly about her artistic inspirations and what she will be doing in her next session. She loves the class settings, the team and the projects. I can see that she has grown in confidence and she is flourishing in artistic flare. My daughter has had a few tough years at school with bullying and Emily’s art-k class has really helped her and her mental stability. It has been one place where she has been able to feel she could escape and she even told me that it helps her to feel happy-her happy place. As a parent, I am so grateful that there are classes like this. I feel it’s so important to be able to create, be inspired and to be able to follow your dreams. This is one place where my daughter is able to follow her dreams in a happy and safe environment.
When my daughter first started, I was happily surprised to see that the projects are artist based so the students not only learn about artists but also new techniques and ways of working with different media.
Emily, is always enthusiastic and encouraging as are the other staff. The classroom is bright, colourful and full of ideas and other students work and the pupils are always welcomed in every session. Each session, pupils who have finished a project are congratulated on their work which they get to take home.
We now have a wall for my daughter’s art and if I could give more than 5 out of 5 for Art-k Bexleyheath - I would!

It was a pleasure to teach your daughter yesterday and I am so pleased she enjoyed the session and you loved her creation. She learned to blend acrylic paints and use watercolours to paint her moon and cat using a wet on wet technique. Best art class there is!
My daughter has been going to art-K for several years. She's done the classes in London and now in Bristol. She loves it and it's the only art class she wanted to attend continuously. The teachers are all well trained and super lovely. What I really like is how they are not just about techniques but also about having fun and following your own creativity. Maybe one day I'll attend an adult class too!

Such a lovely art class
My 6 year old daughter has attended the last 2 mornings with Alana and she absolutely loved it. She was nervous to attend as she hadn’t been before, but Alana reassured us both and she ended up loving her teacher and the class itself. She came home with beautiful art work each time and is already bugging me about booking her back for more classes soon
