Instructional Designing made easy

I have been an Articulate user for the past 5 years and absolutely love both Studio and Storyline 2 and cannot wait to get rolling with 360. One of the many amazing things you get with Articulate purchase is the support with the Articulate Community.

E-learning Development Made Easy

As a former virtual teacher and a current professional development coordinator, I have used multiple learning platforms for instruction. I started using Articulate for professional development and wish I knew it existed (or could get approval for purchase) when creating materials for my virtual classroom. It is so easy to use and understand and worth the price. Since users aren't tracked with licenses, the creator is the only one who needs the software. Once the materials are created and posted, anyone can access your course as often as they need to.

The support community provides expert advice and encourages peer sharing. The online support community is still growing but I already am able to find an ample amount of templates and resources I need to build my courses.

We are able to fulfill a large portion of our training needs using storyline. I am able to create modules that target specific learning goals. I can create paths that target each of the 9-11 different divisions within our organization. I have learning checkpoints and assessments throughout the modules. I can instruct virtually with this tool. So much flexibility to create whatever you need!

Tools for next generation training and education

I'm pretty excited about the set of tools in Articulate 360. Some nice new features in Storyline, including the dial interaction. The real star is Rise, though, for a trouble-free responsive solution. The output looks very professional and the basic interactivity options are there. Looking forward to how this tool will evolve and provide even more functionality. I plan to build many job aids with this tool. Also, really like the Articulate Review tool where reviewers/SMEs can comment on Storyline output screen-by-screen, similar to Google doc functionality. Awesome way to keep track of change requests. Not sure I will use Studio, and am hoping that Articulate will offer more of an 'a la carte' approach to their subscriptions. For now, though, am very happy overall and highly recommend to other instructional designers who need to wear the many hats of training/education design and development.

Storyline 2 is a brilliant authoring tool

A brilliant eLearning authoring tool that's easy to pick up and use - even if you have limited techy skills. Publishes automatically to SCORM, and is cross-platform ready with loads of built in features meaning you don't need to understand coding, HTML, flash etc to be able to produce great, engaging learning.
THe support is amazing with elearningheroes.com and fast response to any queries. It's also well-priced against its competitors

if it elearning it has to be Articulate

I have been using Articulate products for about 4 years and could not be happier with what they have provided. The software is well priced, easy to use and gives users so much freedom to design courses where the only limit is the developers imagination. The support available is also second to none; you will never buy a product and then be left struggling to get the most out of it. I would consider Articulate to be the only option to consider if you are wanting to develop online training materials and with their new 360 product, everything is brought together in one place making your life that much simpler.

Best Supported eLearning Software

I've been using Articulate software for for seven years now and I love it. They listen to their customers wants and incorporate their request into their upgrades. I have never seen such a helpful, supportive community. I can't wait to play with the latest version.

Great products and support!

I use Articulate Studio 13 and Articulate Storyline - e-learning creation tools by Articulate. Both tools are quite robust and easy to use. They are supported by an online user community that is moderated by Articulate staff. Questions are answered quickly, and answers are usually quite thorough, providing multiple options. Love this software!

Good product & great support

Articulate Storyline is a great authoring tool that lets you create interactive learning activities, games, etc. Compared to other authoring tools, Storyline is fairly easy to use but there's still a learning curve. The Articulate company, and the user community they foster, provide fantastic support. There have been times when I've been stuck on how to set up some aspect of a project I'm working on, and within 24 hours of posting my issue in the community forum, someone has provided a fantastic answer. Very helpful!

Articulate Storyline 2 and Replay make effective eLearning course creation easy!

It's difficult to quantify the benefits we've realized since we started using Articulate Storyline in 2012. I know that Adobe Captivate has made many advancements since then, but when we switched the efficiency and ease of use of Storyline immediately impacted our course creation time, and more importantly we were creating better learning experiences.

Here are a few of my favorite things:
- Incredibly easy to use. If you can use PowerPoint, Storyline is very easy to pick up. We had a new team member creating rather complex courses within days.
- The concepts that are more advanced than PowerPoint, such as layers, triggers, and variables, make sense and don't take long to grasp.
- These same advanced options are what allow for better learning experiences and flexibility in how content is presented and pulled by the learner.
- Articulate continues to innovate and enhance their products.
- Their support is great! Although I haven't needed it much, when I do, they are quick to respond and very helpful.
- The user community is the best I've participated in. You can easily find ideas and solutions.

The other Articulate product we use is Replay. It's intended as a screen capture and webcam recording tool, but we've found it incredibly useful as a simple video editor. We often pull in other videos and find the ease and speed of being able to edit within Replay far outweighs the loss of advanced features that you may have in a true video editor. (We still have one of those that we use for some projects, but Replay is great when that's just not needed.)

I have no hesitation in highly recommending Articulate products.

Easy to Use, Superb Functionality

It's really easy to get up and running with Storyline 2. If you know PowerPoint, you're almost there! It's also easy to learn the additional functionality for eLearning authoring. I have been able to learn how to do pretty much anything I can dream up and help is easy, fast and free from the eLearning Community via the E-Learning Heroes site. I heartily recommend Articulate Storyline.

Excellent Product!

I use Articulate products on a regular basis, mostly Storyline, and my team and I are very happy with it. We are able to easily scale the project to fit the scope that we need. The user interface is quite intuitive and there are lots of resources and guidance available for people that are new to the product.

Storyline: Best Choice For CBT Authoring Tool

Articulate Storyline is both simple to learn, and robustly featured. Anyone familiar with the look and feel of Microsoft Office can get started and be producing professional-level online learning within a day. Yet Articulate is full-featured enough to give the user complete control over the look and feel of the learning solutions produced.

Great, easy to use software.

Articulate Storyline is great powerful software that is incredibly easy to use. From the moment you open the program you can start creating quality content and as your skills grow the possibilities never end. This program has allowed me to greatly upgrade my online training materials without investing too much extra time or money.

Absolutely the best

I know that each software has one special quality that makes it better than others. With Articulate you, in my humble opinion, get the whole package. I have been using Articulate for about 8 or 9 years and was an early adaptor in my company. Not only is the company attentive to its customers I think that they have cultivated one of The best user communities and from Gabe and the Word of Mouth blog to the E-Learning Heroes. My experience with Articulate as a design tool and with the company has been nothing short of amazing.

Articulate 360

Having used the new release for almost 2 weeks now I can honestly say I am impressed with the updates. Aside from it looking cool the new features add a little something to my design. I am particularly impressed with the new illustrated characters and the ability to publish straight to mobile (and other platforms).

Another really helpful tool is the new review system. This has allowed me to work closely with my SMEs and collaborate remotely on projects.

Overall really impressed.

Articulate

I can't begin say enough about Articulate, the software, the support and the community! I have been using Articulate since their suite of products for around 6 years now. We have worked with other authoring tools in the elearning ecosystem as our customers have needed, but our go-to tools of choice have been the Articulate suites, the migration to Storyline 1 and 2. And now...we have just taken the leap into Articulate 360 and am blown away!!!
Thank you Articulate, our clients loooove what we do with your tools and our joint creativity!

I should work for Articulate!

People ask me all the time if I work for Articulate because I constantly rave about Storyline to anyone who will listen! No, I assure you; I don't get any kickbacks. I just love using Storyline. It's intuitive - and more importantly FUN - to use. I am continuously finding new things to like about it. The online community is second to none. I can always find what I'm looking for, and usually stumble upon things I didn't know I didn't know. Kudos to Articulate for keeping it fresh with Storyline 360! Keep up the good work.

Our #1 tool

I love Articulate Storyline. It's the tool with a perfect balance of a power, versatility, and ease of use. I've used it for about six years now. Before using Storyline, I tried several other tools, but this is the one I've stuck with since then. I love Storyline!

Articulate 360 Review

I have been very happy with Articulate 360 so far. The "Review" feature is amazing for sharing content with SME's, developers and stakeholders while collecting and sharing their feedback. The HTML5 publishing improvements and responsive design make deploying across multiple platforms a breeze.
