I'm new to creating e-Learning and was afraid it would be quite daunting. After a great 2-day class provided by Articulate and by using the video tutorials, e-learning Heros pages and all of the great online search features on their website, there has been absolutely nothing that I haven't been able to accomplish. I've always found that taking e-Learning classes as a student was somewhat boring...so I've done my best to make e-Learning fun and easy to navigate. No matter what goofy idea I come up with...Articulate has been able to accomodate what I needed to do. There are so many ways to do everything that I've found I can always find a way to accomplish what I need.

As a higher education instructor, I found that the learning curve with Storyline 2 is much easier than with other competitors. I don't have a lot of time to learn the intricacies about a particular piece of software, I wanted something that was intuitive and I found that with Storyline 2. I also use their Studio software as well for the really quick, deadline was yesterday type projects. Their community is robust, very helpful to novices and they also provide motivation to increase your skills and promote professional development. I highly recommend their products, Storyline 2 and Studio.

I use Articulate since two years now. In the last two days I attended a course on Articulate. The rest of candidates never used the software before. I was impressed on how quickly users can pick up Articulate features.
Articulate is a user friendly software and gives users the chance to create many exciting interacting stories.
I would recommend Articulate to anyone interested in developing e-Learning material.

I have used both Studio and Storyline with clients. The products are leaders in their industry. With many clients, they tried other products and didn't become highly effectiveness them, but the learning curve with Articulate has proven time and time again to be a major catalyst in making teams more effective in developing the elearning they want to deploy. I could go on about features of the product. But beyond the product is support. The Articulate Elearning communities are a great source of learning and resources for the elearning industry- even if you don't use their products, it is a valuable resource. What others may not know is their technical support. I have had several experiences needing to call technical support due to the fact that I hacked a legacy version of one of their products and combine it with another of theirs to create something unique for a client. Even despite my working with legacy product and tweaking it, they provided 100% support. They had NO obligation to do this, but they continue to provide outstanding support and service.

Articulate produces solid tools and builds amazing communities around them.

Our organization has been an Articulate Studio user for several years, converting existing SME Powerpoints for deployment on our LMS. We have utilized the templates and quizmaker to create interactive elements. Though we have wanted to graduate to more sophisticated development and ability to customize elements of the pre-built elements, other elearning products were too costly or too steep a learning curve for us to consider. With Storyline 2 we have found a cost effective product that allows us to use template interactions with the advantage of being able to customize them without a steep learning curve. The cartoon character library has been well received by our internal clients who love the less institutionalized feel the characters bring to the learning. The multiple poses and expressions make creating a look and feel to the project really easy. Little do our clients know how easily it is for us to create a 'custom' looking course with these characters.

I am thrilled with Articulate Storyline 2. My company had been using Articulate Studio, which is also a great product, but I fell in love with the Storyline 2 product; so we upgraded.

I love all the interactivity that you can do with Storyline 2 and that it is easy to do as well. The getting started and help sections are a great resource for anyone no matter how experienced with e-learning software the user is.

With the software, you are able to create anything ranging from the most basic, words on a screen presentation to a complete interactive, immersive experience. Your imagination and creativity are really the only limit.

The ability to story board out an entire course while easily adding quizzes, games, video, and/or animation is wonderful. Changes are quick and easy too.

This software has really upped the ROI in the training courses here and I would recommend this software to anyone and everyone.

Articulate storyline is a powerful tool that I use for my Elearning development. When Articulate launched Storyline 2, I was skeptical about if the upgrade would be cost efficient for the benefits. Wow! Storyline 2 has features that make usability amazingly easy, there are new function capabilities, and it is overall a smooth running program! On a side note, I would HIGHLY recommend the character bundles as well! Not only is Articulate GREAT at producing an awesome software program, but they are also just an amazing company. Their support and collaborative efforts for their customers (ELearning Heroes in particular) is amazing. Their approach is unlike anything else. Thanks for being awesome Articulate!

As a church pastor I use Articulate Storyline 2 to build online Bible study courses for our church, and for those who come to our web site. This software gives us the ability to create teaching and learning platforms that church members can use to grow in their Christian faith. It also allows those investigating the Christian faith to study these courses in the privacy of their own environment and then make their decision on whether or not to participate in a local church.

If you know anything about Microsoft PowerPoint, learning Articulate Storyline 2 is really straightforward and intuitive. The Articulate community provides many free templates and inspiring ideas and concepts. The online global Articulate community is always ready to assist anyone new to the software with any issue or question. Many if not most of those willing to help are professional elearning instructional designers.

The program is powerful and allows unlimited freedom and flexibility to allow creative juices to flow! Besides all of this, it is really fun to use!

I absolutely love Articulate Storyline and use it every day in my profession. I do not have a programming background, but Storyline allows me to create beautiful and engaging eLearning courses that are easily compatible with my organization's LMS. I learn something new in Storyline every day and the support community is top notch. I love browsing the design examples and downloads for inspiration.

I have experience with all leading e-learning development tools, and Articulate Storyline 2 is the tool that allows you to perform the most Interactive learning in the shortest time and highest quality. Articulate Storyline 2 is suitable for all types of e learning developers: malingering and advanced, those who want to create simple e- learning and those who want to create complex learning games. The learning curve is very steep. And additional power-bonus: a great community (e - learning heroes) which supports any questions you may have. Highly recommended for all Instructional designers.

Articulate has changed the eLearning landscape yet again with it's newest release: Articulate 360. Articulate 360 gives you access to the suite of programs that they offer. Storyline, Studio, Quizmaker, Presenter, and Replay are now all included in the subscription. So Studio and standalone Storyline users will now have access to everything. These products all offer upgrades that make course and assessment creation easier and more responsive. The real gems here though are the new online tools. Articulate has now included Rise, an online course authoring tool that automatically creates responsive content for any device. They also include a content library of templates and characters to use at no additional cost. Articulate Review offers a collaborative space to share and have stakeholders review with comments a project as it is being created. Last but not least they have Articulate Live providing experts in the software giving webinars on how to use Articulates tools even better. The best part of all of these tools is that they stay true to what I loved about Storyline and that's a low learning curve to get started. Anyone can sit down and with a little trial and error start using these tools right away. I have been an Articulate fan since I first opened Storyline three years ago now. With this release they hooked me yet again with the array of options to continue my eLearning development journey.

I work as a eLearning Developer and so far the tool i use the most is Articulate Studio and Articulate Storyline. They are easy to use and the best part they have a community.that supports you through your learning process.

Articulate Storyline 2 is a great piece of software for creating elearning. It starts with the familiar interface, borrowing design cues from MS Office.
While Storyline 2 is able to create complex courses, the learning curve isn't steep for the beginner user thanks to the ability to import in powerpoint and the use of the trigger wizard to create basic content. Mix in the Story View and you can quickly and easily change linear content to branching where the learner can be directed on different paths based on their choices. Finally, with the help and support of the Articulate Elearning Heroes community, if you can think it (or even if you aren't sure what "it" is), you can create it.

Whether your looking to create a bespoke interactive game or a rapid interactive guide, Storyline has the flexibility and durability to meet your needs.

From a usability perspective, anyone familiar with PowerPoint will find themselves able to perform basic Storyline functions in a matter of minutes. Like a good computer game, Storyline is easy to pick up and play with but has a depth and power that enables more experienced users to build some truly impressive creations.

I'd recommend using Storyline alongside a graphic design package (such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator or Fireworks) to get the absolute maximum out of it but this is by no means essential.

I've been using Articulate Storyline for a number of years in my work. I found it easy to pick up (if you can use PowerPoint, you can use Storyline). I've continued to use it for all my online learning projects, and I've almost never been limited by the software in bringing my ideas to life. It allows you to create some great interactivity - doing what's really important - focusing on the learner.
Articulate have released a new suite of products, Articulate 360, and WOW! Storyline has moved strongly into the world of mobile delivery. It is responsive and you can build and test across a range of different delivery platforms without having to leave Storyline.
I am most excited about Rise - a new development tool, that is a game changer. It is slick, clean and very easy to use. It results in a completely new way of accessing content. And again, it is a responsive design that adjusts your content for the best experience on mobiles, tablets and desktops.
The content library gives you access to professionally designed templates and photographic and illustrated characters.
And Review streamlines the feedback / review process making it faster and more transparent.
All these tools are in the cloud so you'll no longer have to wait as updates are made.
A great all rounder - I love Articulate 360!

Storyline 2 is the best rapid e-learning tool on the market. It has an intuitive interface, easy learning curve, and a powerful set of features for advanced users. Plus, you get access to top notch tutorials, assets, and a vibrant community of users.

Finally Articulate released Storyline 3 but on the way they changed its name to Storyline 360. It is not only improved Storyline 2 because we all can now use many other tools. Now in one subscription you can use:

The most important thing is that everything you can create is responsive so your user can learn on their laptops, mobile, tablets and all other devices. Now depending on your goal you can pick the right tool and it is not only when you create course but also you when your client is reviewing it. In my opinion, global approach that Articulate is offering us is a revolution in e-learning world.

My team switched from Adobe Captivate to Articulate Storyline several years ago, and have loved it ever since. We were experiencing significant stability and customer service issues with Captivate, both of which disappeared after we made the switch.

Storyline is easy to use and develop with. It can be used to create beautiful, interactive eLearning. Modules publish right... the first time, without needing to tweak or fiddle with back-end code. The best part is the Customer Service. If users run into a problem and have some time to solve it, they can hit up a diverse and expert user community for solutions. No time? Articulate's customer service is easy to contact, and they respond right away.

I have been a Storyline fan for about 4 years now, since it came out in 2012. Before that, I used Lectora, Claro, and Adobe Captivate to create my eLearning courses. The problem I faced then was that I had big ideas for the kinds of courses I wanted to create, but would get so bogged down in the mechanics of building the courses that I couldn't actually bring those ideas to life. Not only did this make it hard to use the tools, it hurt my career! I just couldn't deliver on the designs I had identified in my learning analyses.

Of course, I didn't blame Adobe for my technical challenges, or Lectora for being confusing-- I blamed myself for not taking the time to get to know the tools better.

Before I bought Storyline, I downloaded the free trial. I wasn't expecting much, but within the first HOUR, I was creating courses that were WAY better than what I had been able to create with Captivate. The interface was intuitive, and the program just worked. FINALLY being able to create the kinds of courses that I believed could make big impact for learners, I saved up my cash, bought a license, left my corporate job, and started an eLearning design firm.

Storyline 2 improved the interface, opened up a ton of useful features, and pushed the industry forward again. I absolutely LOVE the software.

For those skeptics out there who think that Captivate is more powerful than Storyline, you should download the trial. While it's true that Captivate is amazingly powerful and feature-laden, it's just not the interface built to support DESIGNERS. Some people like me don't want a tool that's super technical. We want a tool that enables us to get the projects done, refine them, and help our learners LEARN.
