ASCAR rent a car Reviews

The best car rental company, I will recommend to everyone who needs a car , everything goes smoothly, perfect contact with staff, very professional, friendly and helpful. Was pleasure having car from this company 🥰

Thanks to Luis from Ascar rental car. He was very helpful and explains everything . I highly recommend Ascar rent a car.

I whold like to say big thanks and much appreciated MR Luis Balan and MR Cosmin Mocanu that located at Bucharest Romania.
Me and my family rent a car for one day trip in order to travel and to see the intrasting locations at Romania around Bucharest area.
Those gentleman's explained the torment and conditions according to the rent process with understanding and flexibility with the return process
With this experience I rent one more day trip but unfortunately I canceled the following day, again those gentleman's understand the situation without asking too much questions the canceled the order.
During your trip to different countries you meet nice people that understand you.
So I have met those nice and kind people.
Thanks Luis and Cosmin for this
Be sure that on my next trip to Bucharest if needed you will be the first persons that I will contact directly for renting a car!!
Fully recommended!!
Thanks again

I would definitely recommend to anyone planning to rent a car in Romania. Fair prices, excellent service and no hidden extra fees. Many thanks to Luis for his professional approach and willingness.

Excellent service, perfect car, staff very friendly, polite and helpful

Luis from Ascar rental car was extremely helpful and we were very happy with the vehicle and its performance. Very reliable company and service. I highly recommend it.

BEWARE! Unethical business practices. At return, the inspector pointed out 3 scratches, but I immediately showed him videos proving 2 of them were already there. When he realized I had evidence, he literally knelt down to search for a scratch underneath the bumper—a spot he never checked during pick-up. This was a clear attempt to 'find' any reason to charge me. I have video proof of my friend's car having the same wear, but he wasn't targeted because he bought their insurance. Pure bad faith with a 172k km car. Avoid Union Car if you want a stress-free trip."

Extremely easy going and fair renting place. We came without any reservation and were able to rent a car within minutes. The car was clean and in good driving condition. The pick up and drop off beyond working hours was very easy due to Luis's explicit explanation. He also helped us shape up our roadmap giving useful insight as a local expert. Cosmo's communication was timely and explicit with all necessary details and documents. If we are to rent a car in Bucharest ever again, we know where to go. Definitely recommend.

Excellent experience with Ascar Rent a Car Romania.
Despite a delay with our luggage, they waited for us outside the airport for more than an hour with no complaints and great professionalism. The car was brand new, spotless, and in perfect condition. From the beginning, they clearly showed and explained a small pre-existing scratch, which really shows transparency and honesty.
The prices were very reasonable for such a new car, and the whole process was smooth, fast, and with no hidden charges. Friendly staff, great customer service, and an overall stress-free experience.
I highly recommend Ascar Rent a Car and would definitely choose them again in the future.
