Not real
I completed a few of their programs. I could not find a job as the credentials are not recognized by any employer so I removed them from my resume completely. Regardless of what they say, it's not recognized in the real world.

Ashworth College Experience
My experience as an international student attending Ashworth College was awesome. I appreciated the timely feedbacks from instructors and staff members. I enjoyed my years of study, due to the fact that I could have studied at my own pace and pay in parts. Managing my personal affairs and work was easy. I would highly recommend this college to anyone looking to further their study.

Still processing enrollment
Dear Ashworth College Team,
I am writing to follow up on my enrollment. When I try to log in, I receive a message stating:
"We are still processing your enrollment. We need a little more time before we can get you into your learning. This page will reload when the system is ready."
It has been a 7 days, and I am still unable to access the learning portal. Could you please assist in checking the status of my enrollment and let me know if there is anything else needed from my side? Student ID No.
250701S3GX
Thank you for your support, and I look forward to getting started soon.
Best regards
Do not pay this school for certificates or diplomas, wondering if they take students who pay bigger money for degrees etc.. more seriously, other less important vocations r to pay thier power bill?
stop putting response to bad reviews that you will improve, you never do. I agree with so many other reviews, a useless, worthless college. I work weekends on cleaning jobs or waitress jobs with health issues, Ashworth should be ashamed to have taken my $2,079 for veterinarian assistant certificate when they received all my final work January 2023 and never mailed me the certificate I earned !! I did not even need help finding a place to do externship, I got it immediately after finishing lessons 4 and final exam, every Tuesday and Wednesday for 2 months I finished 120 hrs. Of externship. Multiple times I try to reach a person on phone to say I have the tracking # and USPS TICKET showing you received all my final work , as most of us know now, Noone answers phone anymore, you r told to go into portal. I put tickets in (and couple tickets) despite the fact the rule is no Multiple ticket requests for same issue, but the frustration of living in a state far away ,so far it's impossible to enter the college and demand my one ? I want answer to-- where is my veterinarian assistant certificate? I earned & paid a lot for it. FINALLY, I TYPED A LETTER TO EDUCATION DEPT. TO PRESIDENT OF COLLEGE AS WELL 2/25/2025 STATING THAT I GUESS I WILL NEVER SEE THE CERTIFICATE IN MY MAILBOX. ALSO ANY COMMUNICATION I SENT THROUGH TICKET ON PORTAL, OR BY LETTER I GAVE MY PHONE # . NO RESPONSE FROM ANYONE . WHAT A DISAPPOINTMENT, FOR SHAME ON YOU ASHWORTH COLLEGE. I NEED THAT VETERINARIAN ASSISTANT CERTIFICATE (CAREER DIPLOMA) TO ADD TO MY RESUME . $2,079. DOWN THE DRAIN.

Ashworth College did me so wrong and…
Ashworth College did me so wrong and they lie about employment when you finish. My diploma in Electronic Health Record Management isn't recognizable nowhere for employment or by other colleges, institutions, or universities. Every since my completion of the program in 2014, every clinic and hospital have turned me down for employment in Electronic Health Record Management. Ashworth College stop lying to people about this college.

COMMUNICATION IS A JOKE
Communication is a joke. I have submitted my transcript to be evaluated and credited to my account so that I don't have to take two of the same classes that I already took. I have submitted my Sophia Learning transcript on April 18th they received it. I am still waiting to this day over a month later for my transcript to be credited to my account. I have contacted the school more than once. My next step is the Better Business Bureau. I am not waiting any longer. CREDIT MY ACCOUNT FOR THE CLASSES I ALREADY TOOK. This school is a joke they want to get paid but don't want to do their job. Do your job people.

I tried. I really, really tried giving them a chance.
So far, I've been barely managing things on my own with their basically nonexistent student support. Despite this, I've been maintaining above 90% on my scores with a lot of stress, time, and sheer obstinance on my part.
The instructors dock points and don't even explain why, even when I try to follow up for feedback. On quizzes they ask you things they don't teach, or they've marked the correct answer as wrong.
Currently, I am in a quiz and they are asking questions that aren't even in the lesson. I cannot for the life of me figure out the answers because it's no mention of anything close to it in the lesson. I'm stopping here. I can't keep walking on a tightrope as flimsy as this. Better cut my losses by dropping out early.
It's not like I am late on payments. I paid for the full semester upfront and I'm not even going to finish it. Three months of my salary down the drain. So if you are absolutely desperate with absolutely no hope other than this, please don't make the same mistake as me by paying upfront. Give it a shot, and I guarantee you, as long as Ashworth doesn't make some serious changes, it won't be long before you'll be glad you didn't spend more.

this is the worse experience i have…
this is the worse experience i have gotten at a school. Communication is horrible. They tell you payment is flexible however when you start you basically paying much more than anticipated at once. When you call the staff is not polite and transfers you all over the place and not get any end results. if i only knew that before i wouldnt have signed up!

I got excited for a moment but then I…
I got excited for a moment but then I was surprised on how tricky their website is. Don't trust when you read the "affordable tuition" page indicating pay for the full program $1399. As soon as you pay whichever plan you choose you will get an agreement letter to sign that indicate on second page the actual total cost you will be paying for the entire course. I am talking about extra thousands. Ashworth college needs to indicate all the details on the actual tuition costs and not confuse new students on this.
For your information the A.S on Health Administration will not cost you $1399, it will cost you almost $8k that you will need to pay in order to graduate. BEWARE!

Get the degree for the field you are already in - finding a job/internship without experience is nearly impossible.
I am a current student at Ashworth College, and my experience has been positive.
I have been working in Healthcare for 10+ years and am now getting a BS degree in Healthcare Management even though I am already a manager. My next move is to land a Director role, and having this degree will allow me to meet the education requirement. My employer is paying for me to attend through tuition reimbursement.
I got the manager role after completing my AA Healthcare Management degree at Penn Foster (also paid through tuition reimbursement)
Like Penn Foster, Ashworth is a self-paced online school and it is up to you to complete your coursework. Textbooks and tests are all online.
Every time I had an issue I called them and they were very helpful (call the number for enrollment and they will transfer you to the right department).
Each semester is 5 courses, and you will pay tuition for each group of 5.
I was able to transfer in my credits from Penn Foster and from another community college and start with around 60% completed.
This education is what you make it. The school provides materials and tests for you to learn, but it is up to you to actually do the work. There is not anyone to remind you to stay on track.
Ashworth and Penn Foster have allowed me to meet my career goals and keep pushing for more.
Thank you Ashworth!

I would not give them a star
I would not give them a star. This place "College" sucks. I enrolled in Bachelor classes after two years of finishing the associate with this same place. When it was time to register, I was told to send an email to give me my associate's credits. when I wanted to register in the semester that was supposed to be the 4th because I had already finished the previous courses. They charged me for each semester as if I started from the first semester, I was surprised and called many times to get answers to which they never told me anything concrete. Today I called to cancel since I could never take any of the bachelor's classes and they have stolen $5,000 and they still say that I owe $637 which is crazy, how are they going to charge me all that money without even starting any course. Right now, I've been on the phone for an hour waiting for them to tell me why they've charged me for all that. They are thieves, I hate this place. please if anyone knows where I can get an attorney to fight for this.

I need to send my last graded project to you but I can't get on my student portal. Can someone please help me!!!! I've exhausted all phone numbers and don't know where to turn. I've called Brightside and they couldn't help me and Sam sure couldn't help me. I'm desperate at this moment. I've emailed you a few times and have yet to hear from you

SCAM School. No real instructors
I have completed 3 out of 4 courses for first semester in Psychology Associates. I have had to ask many times about how to enter my proctor nominations, they still refuse to take those and say its all online no procotor needed, yet it also states in handbook that I have to get those in. Now in my 4th course, I can't find who the instructor is. School refuses to tell me. They say it's on the bottom right corner. No its not. I have sent screenshots to prove it's not. They say sorry we'll look but you have to make an appointment with the instructor. With who? There is no one! This is obviously a scam site and there are no actual instructors. It is AI-created lectures that are elementary school-based, not college. I am withdrawing, too bad I've wasted a lot of money already on this school.

Learning center is horrible
Learning center is horrible. Never received the textbook for my course and could not get it online. Requested this several times and each time was told it was on back order. I had to order it myself but meanwhile I am months behind. Asked for a payment reduction since I had to buy the book myself and am behind and they said nothing can be done. I requested the book several times when I started this and each time it was on back order and still is six months later. How can you offer a class but cannot have the textbook available for the class? The College itself is great but this James Madison Learning Center is horrible.

Wonderful School
I got my high school diploma from Ashworth which is James Madison High school. They were so good to me. Whenever I needed them they were always there. Their prices are practically the same as they were back in 2005 I don’t see or understand all these bad reviews. They were nothing but top notched.

Here's my story
Here's my story: I started at Ashworth in 2022/2023 for General Studies. Everything was going well, but with my learning disability, I fell a little behind. I paid for extensions twice, but I was still doing okay until February 2024, when I contracted COVID-19 very severely and had to withdraw. I promised to continue paying for tuition at $60 a month until it was either paid off or I returned at another time after I was well enough to be readmitted. This past week, I called and told them I wanted to be readmitted and I wanted to switch over from General Studies to Early Childhood Education, which I knew cost about $50, and continue to pay my $60 a month along with transferring some of the credits that I earned while pursuing my General Studies degree plan. Not only was the woman rude about me not paying the full $60 (because my paycheck doesn't register with my bank account until my bank opens which is 8 AM Central Time in Texas and I always pay on time), but she also said I can switch over, yet I have to continue paying on the General Studies degree plan and I have to open another account for the Early Childhood Education degree plan and start paying $79 on that account as well. I asked her about transferring my credits from my General Studies degree plan to the Early Childhood Education degree plan, and she said they have to review the classes I took and try to match them up with the Early Childhood Education ones. Her tone of voice made me upset. After that, I started crying. It was already a bad Christmas, and this woman made it worse. It seems I have to find another college, if anyone will take me. I have worked very hard with very little pay as a cashier for the past 17 years and I take care of my sister who is disabled, and now I have to pay $90 next month (which changed from $60 without anyone informing me). So please look for another college. I just pray I can find one that will even consider admitting me now.

I don’t know what all the complaining…
I don’t know what all the complaining is about. Ashworth doesn’t hide the fact that it’s an online school with a self paced learning environment. That being said, there is tutor support and technical support available. I believe you get what you put into it at Ashworth, if you work hard and study the material you will be successful. If you want someone to hold your hand and baby you through the process, find a different school. I had a great experience and even with the extension fees etc, you incur those when you make your semester lax …
This is the worst customer service…
This is the worst customer service experience I've ever had. There is no live representative available, making it a nightmare to get any support. I strongly advise against wasting your time and money with this college. It will only cause you additional stress and frustration that you don't need.
