President Britt had rather sacrifice your grade as to not be inconvenienced.

Discovered an error in one of my Real Estate Law quizzes. Brought it to the attention of Support. They refused to address it. Same error appeared in my final exam. Support ignored the request yet again. Both profoundly effected my grades. Contacted President Britt and all of the college board members. They were too cowardice to admit they'd made a drastic error. Had to file an ethics complaint against President Britt. Their minion Andrew Kachurak gave a 'blanket CYA' response accusing me, the USPS, the Board, and his own co-worker of all lying that the college never received any of my correspondence. Fortunately, the USPS' tracking capabilities put a cork in Andrew's spout of sewage. He later admitted in a personal email that he was wrong; yet unfortunately left his stink over at the BBB. Not only does this school give quizzes and final exams with bogus information, they hide like roaches when the kitchen lights come on when faced with the reality that they screwed up. Highly UNRECOMMENDED!

If an old guy can do it anyone can.

I'm 66 years old and out of the blue I decided to go back to school. Doing it with Ashworth is the best decision I have made in a long time. It wasn't easy but has left me with a since of accomplishment. This is a great program and I can't wait to start another one soon. Thanks

I am currently enrolled in Ashworth and its been awesome! The coursework is up to date and i always get helpful feedback from my professors. The tuition is also a huge plus if you are trying to not acquire debt. You are to sign an enrollment agreement before each semester starts but you get to chose how much you pay per month. Its wonderful!

Worth the money

Affordable, self-paced, and transferrable. If you aren't committed to self-paced learning online, do not do this. Go to a traditional school.

Use it to transfer, but just be aware of a lot of issues

Ashworth is my first college degree, despite me having over 160 college credits in various forms and tons of technical certificates. Why?

Frankly, there's been nothing in any of the many jobs I've had over the years that required a college degree; I'm not new to six-figure salaries.

Did I benefit at least from some of the classes? Absolutely. But not enough to make it worth the time - and expense - of going through the full-blown nonsense.

Recently, due to more free time, I decided to check these off the bucket list starting with Associates.

Here's what you really need to know.
✅ It is truly self-paced. There is a time limit for progress sake, but you can go as fast as you want and even slow down. You're not required to submit daily/weekly assignments nor are you dinged for not logging in.

⛔However, despite the above, it's important you understand how they treat "semesters". In other schools, a "semester" is a period of time - 8 weeks, 12 weeks, etc. Ashworth's "semester" is really a batch of 5 classes, gated by a payment ($1k or $1300, usually, for the degree programs). This means that you can only really go as fast as 5 classes before you need to do another payment; it's not like you can just do a single payment and knockout 20 classes like WGU.

✅Given the above, this means you are best served transferring into this school rather than raw attendance, if you want to save money. They will take credits from just about everywhere.

⛔However, you will likely find yourself needing to appeal their initial transfer credit offer as they tend to try and cheat you out of credits. I was only able to get 50% instead of the 75% despite having over 100 credits total, for unknown reasons.

✅All of the book materials you need are located in the courses; same material used at colleges, and you can even rent physical books if you want (it's a separate service).

⛔However, the tests tend to mark questions wrong when you know you answered it correctly. This is because the quizzes are written straight from the book (they are auto-scored, by the way) so if the book is wrong, you will be dinged improperly for something you know to be correct.

✅Whether you complete or not, the transcript process is extremely fast, faster than any other school, where they'll turn it around in a single business day.

⛔Unfortunately, the transcript tends to confuse some other schools, because what they do is list transfer credits on the first page you see and then taken credits on a different page; which throws people off.

✅They will offer frequent discounts as an incentive to get you off the monthly payment plan (pay in full by X, save $200-$300). Doing this, plus transfer credit, meant that my Associates degree was around $1800 all told. That's cheaper than most community colleges that are around $3k and not nearly as fast.

⛔Here's where you need to be careful, though. I see many reviews complaining about being billed $1k; this is because of what you chose to save the most money. The price they're quoting you on the site is PER SEMESTER (5 classes). If you still have even one more class to take, you'll have to pay for another full semester. There is a refund policy, but if you're transferring in you won't make the cutoff before transcripts come in.

✅Ashworth has matriculation agreements with schools such as WGU and Columbia Southern if you want to transfer out, but most schools nowadays are more flexible about nationally accredited school credits so long as the courses match up (*and they will as long as you choose a similar program).

⛔Ashworth doesn't offer equivalency to some of its programs for alumnus; so for example, the Associates in CIS doesn't have a Bachelors equivalent (they don't offer an IT Bachelors at all!) that you can re-admit to in order to save on the headaches of transferring out.

✅The majority of work at Ashworth is with auto-scored quizzes. There are occasionally essays or, as with CIS, the need to write a program and these are manually scored.

⛔Some classes are downright DRY, and others have instructors that take too long to score work. The instructors are given 10 business days (14 calendar days) max to score something, and if it's the last class of the semester batch you can't open up the next semester, which delays you.

⛔Also, I had an English Comp instructor straight up refuse to score a paper because, quote, "there's no way you wrote this on your own!" (the paper in question asked you to choose your topic from a list. I chose a topic about explaining to someone how to build their first resume. Not rocket science.) Appealed and it got scored. But yet another delay, improperly.

I'm not saying they're bad; they're not. Just, manage your expectations. You get what you pay for. Use them for transfer credits and checking boxes.

All they care about is money and if you fall short you’re harassed by them and threatened with collections. The courses are out dated and trying to get assistance is next to impossible. However they’ll call you quick and fast if your payment is late. I paid a 400$ cancellation fee just to be rid of these people. Do your research and dont let their cheap prices fool you. All they want is your coins

Holding Me Accountable For Their Mistake

Honestly, I would not recommend them to my worst enemy. I enrolled in one of their bachelor programs and transferred in credits. I was in the middle on my first class and noticed that there was some outdated information and I even thought some of the information might actually be incorrect. Needless to say, I started bowing out quite quickly. After further research, I realized I needed to maybe transfer to a more respectable college. After finding a new university, I withdrew from Ashworth and was told I would owe nothing. I even still have that email. So, imagine my surprise when I got a massive $600 bill three months later for the cancellation fee. I immediately call them and they said my long forgotten certificate program from years earlier was canceled but not my bachelors program. It was still active. So, I asked them "why did I stop receiving bills for my bachelors program 3 months ago if it had not been canceled and why was I now receiving this $600 bill for a cancellation fee if it was still active?" That actually didn't make sense. Receiving a cancellation fee for an active account? Clearly my bachelors program was canceled. Why else would I suddenly stop getting bills and then get the $600 cancellation fee bill if it wasn't canceled? They remained confident in saying that they only canceled the certificate program I wasn't even participating in and not participated it for years and that they did not cancel the bachelor's program as I had requested.

Now why would they think I was requesting to cancel a paid in full certificate program I had not participated in for years? I still have the email saying I wanted to withdraw from Ashworth and the email stating that I had been withdrawn and I didn't owe any money. Now, three months later, they are saying I do owe them money because I had taken too many classes per my signed contract. I had taken one class and not even finished it because their course was outdated and poorly constructed. They were counting my transferred in classes from other colleges and not actually classes I took at Ashworth. That's why I owe them $600.

At this point, I'm still confused as to why they were trying to say I was getting a cancellation bill for an active account. So, they started trying to ask if I wanted to cancel my bachelors program. When I told them my bachelors program was supposed to have been canceled three months ago so obviously I want them to cancel it then they said the account is now canceled and that is why you are seeing a bill for $600 as if the sudden cancellation caused the bill to magically appear in my hand suddenly. Someone messed up and gave me incorrect information and Ashworth was refusing to own up to it and take the blame. This misinformation makes me angry. Ashworth College told me I had no liability when I withdrew because they withdrew me from a program I was no longer participating in and hadn't participated in for years instead of my current program. Because they messed up and now they aren't holding up their hands and saying they messed up and canceled the wrong program and gave me the wrong information and now they are not holding themselves accountable for their mistake. All they had to say is that I owe them money either way even though three months ago they said I didn't owe them money.

Update:
Ashworth College:
I did contact student services and they did nothing but say sorry for the confusion and ask for the $600 they said I didn’t owe but now I do owe because one of their agents got confused. But oh well you do actually owe it. I was told I didn’t so I applied that money to a new college and now you hit me up for it 3 months later!

I was taking classes to get my associate's degree in general business but couldn't find anyone who would be a proctor for me was told they don't help with that and was given a total of what I would owe for the classes that I had taken. Recent Property Management graduate …

I recently graduated from Ashworth College with a diploma in Property Management. Back in 2006, I attended Ashworth college for medical office but I didn’t complete the program. Later in December of 2019, I decided I wanted to return to college. I was working a full time night job and I couldn’t afford to quit my job and take on campus classes. The admission rep was very understanding and signed me up with no issue. I’m an independent learner so I rarely asked for help, but when I noticed errors on my exam, Ashworth allowed me to challenge the errors and my exams where revised. The student community kept me motivated on days I felt like giving up. The tutoring services can use improvement for those that need it. I used YouTube and google articles during my study which was helpful since I’m a visual learner. My diploma arrived January 2021 but it only had one signature instead of two. This can be improved also. I plan to use my transcript when looking for employment. Other than these small issues, I enjoyed my course and plan to return for my associates degree in business.

DO NOT GO TO THIS SCHOOL!!!

I have no balance due. I have completed all exams and assignments also, all exams and assignments have been graded for almost 2 months now!!!

I have not received a failing grade on any one of my exam's or assignment's (3.92 GPA). Ashworth still show's me as 99% completed and is refusing to close out my FINAL Capstone course. Ashworth will not send me my MBA or my final transcript until this class closes. Even though all the assignment's have been graded and I passed the Capstone course with a grade of 98%.

I have called Ashworth's TERRIBLE customer service representative's multiple times and submitted about 20 tickets. Ashworth's HORRIBLE representatives keep telling me that I have to wait and they cannot provide me with a resolution time or even a valid reason why they won't graduate me. The last representative from Ashworth said "You have to wait for the final course to be closed, that's it!" Talk about great customer service.

Also, managers are never available when you call. The representative's say they will have a manager call you, when one is available. I've yet to have a manager call me back!!

You pay in full, complete all of the required work and Ashworth will still refuse to send you a diploma. STAY AWAY FROM THIS SCHOOL!!!

Locksmith Course - Repackaged Penn Foster Class

I signed up for the locksmith certification course Jan 25. The price was good but here's the deal. This is a canned class that originated at Penn Foster ( I know this because my brother signed up with them and we compared the curriculum). There are no instructors or students to my knowledge as I've posted on the boards and have only just seen the first person post in weeks. The text is riddled with typos and even some plain wrong information (ie. they show a picture of a half diamond pick and called it a key extractor). I'm 45% done with the course already and have yet to receive any tools to finish my final from my first two sections. My recommendation is to spend the extra money on a course taught by an actual locksmith. This is my fault for trying to save a buck... lesson learned. I'll probably have my license before this course even lets me finish. Let me see if I can say something positive. You will learn some things though some of the knowledge is outdated for modern locksmiths and after talking with another locksmith it will not help you pass the ALOA exam...
Good luck... go somewhere else.... I'm stuck as I paid in full ... ;-(

I had sign up for an online class and I sent in my deposit and never received anything. So I proceeded to cancel my so called online line coarse and now it's on my credit report when I didn't even receive paperwork or an email telling me when I should be receive something. I don't see how a program or schooling hold you hostage and mess up your credit when one you gave a deposit , two not receive anything after being told you would.

So I'm really good at test. but just keep mineful. this is a online class. I withdrew & going to Ga Southern.

I took classes at Ashworth online

I took classes at Ashworth online. I became ill with cancer and had to drop a class just a couple days after it started which was within the time limit to do so. They refunded my stafford loan to the company but kept my pell grant and charged me $929 dollars. They didn't report my cancelling the class till after the date for cancellation. Now debt collectors are hounding me and keep reporting this as new. It happened over 7 years ago. If my accounting system was that bad, I would fire them and hire new.

I signed up for the landscaping design course in two months I got my first book delivered and after about five months waiting for the material to use to do the drawings that I needed to do I decided to drop the course. For which they decided to charge me money to get out of the course I had thought about talking to a lawyer but not paying the difference being that they did not live up to their part of the agreement. I personally think it's not fair if you don't comply with your agreement and send them at Rio what good is that design for us without the proper equipment.
I did take another course and graduated and heating and cooling I got all my material on time at the books that I used to do the work I graduated with honors so I decided to take the design course I would not recommend of a fishes with how they act and how many people did they let down because they couldn't get the supplies and that still have to pay money to get out of.

To be honest it was going great and I loved it! Then all of a sudden things changed and Everything became virtual text books. And I have trouble learning without the actual paper material in front of me. Hence the reason I signed up for this course because I was supposed to have all paper books shipped to me. Now it’s taking me a million times longer to sit her and learn everything and process it all. I just wish they would of kept the promises made when I purchased the course. If this was how it was going to be I wouldn’t have picked this course to do.
