Fraudulent charge!

I looked at the 'antique book' site + a 'Christie's expert' (??) started a chat. She asked that I pay $5 for an estimate. I agreed but my card was refused. I assumed I mistyped + re-entered the number. After a 2nd refusal I stopped. About 10 minutes later my bank notified me about 2 suspicious charges of $70 each! DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THEM!

Experts at FRAUD

Do not give your payment information to this website. I inquired about some silver a while back ago paying the one-time consultation of $5. And today I received a fraud alert from my bank stating that they tried to charge my card twice for $65. This shit is a scam.

I was not vigilant enough and accidentally agreed to a recurring $65 monthly subscription fee when all I wanted was the one-time $5 consultation. But they won't give you the one-time consultation without the monthly subscription. Don't bother with these guys.

Beware of "askantiquesexperts.com"

After making what I thought was just a $5.00 payment with my credit card, I was quickly alerted of potential fraud by my bank because the charge was for $70.00.
I had also given all of my information for two other credit cards that were both declined by the site. Now, I have to cancel all of them. Do not trust this site!

Stay away and…

Stay away and beware!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I got on the site to try and get dollar values on a coin collection. I talked to the chatbox and gave all my information. I was told I was going to be connect to an expert but a screen popped up saying there was a $5 charge to speak to the expert. I entered my credit card information but my card was declined. I tried again.. declined. So I shut it down and left the site. I checked my credit card to see why it was declined however there was the $5 charge and not only that there was a second charge FROM THEM for $60. Never even read, saw or was told anything about the sixty dollar charge. Thankfully I got an email from my credit card asking me if these charges were legit. THEY WERE NOT and my credit card cancelled that card and issued me a new one. Fake scammers. Please be aware. I dont know how this site is still in business.

I would definitely not trust this site

I would definitely not trust this site. After their AI chat, which was excellent, they gave me a form to fill in for a $5 fee to talk to someone. Note that the chat then did not allow me to ask another question. My bank, thankfully rejected my credit card transaction (they must know this site) which was for $70!!! Remember their form said $5. They were going to cheat me before I even asked my question.

A scam company

A scam company
It appears "justanswer.com" is the company's name, askantiqueexperts.com is one category.
Says $5 charge, then signs you up unknowingly for a $70 monthly subscription. And then sends emails asking for more money to tip the experts. STAY AWAY!

Agreed to pay 5 dollars just to get an idea how much a rare book I own could be worth got no answers only charges. I have been charged 70 dollars several times. How is this allowed and leagal. I was looking for the value of a book so I could sell and get some money I cant afford the charges that have been taken from me and there is no way to cancel or find a way to get a refund that I can find. How can a company victimize people like this. I finally got a cancelation verification that my membership that I never agreed to in the first place has been canceled. Guess what happened next ? 2 more charges. I hope people that do business this way will come to be prosecuted because its no different than robbery.

If I could give -10 I would

If I could give -10 I would. Not because the information was bad but because the site is essentially a scam. They say that you have to "pay a one-time join fee, of $5 (fully refundable)" then they charge your credit card $70--which btw they will charge you every month!!! I called to exercise my "fully refundable" option and dispute the charge and cancel anything they signed me up for. Turns out they sign you up for a JUSTask membership that renews every month for $70. TOTAL BAIT AND SWITCH CALL YOUR CREDIT CARD IMMEDIATELY AND DISPUTE THE CHARGE--LEGALLY YOU ONLY AUTHORIZED $5.

Scammers

Terrible experience. I was looking for a little info on a grandfather clock and was told the appraiser would call me once I paid the $5..00 fee. I logged into my credit card and the vendor tried to charge me $70.00. I am disputing this charge and will not be paying even the five dollars.

I hope others get their money back after being scammed.

I was just looking at my checking account online and saw that I got charged a SECOND time with charge of $55 for what was supposed to be a one-time $5 fee to assess one of my guitars. Nowhere I saw does it say anything about you using the site once automatically signs you up for a monthly membership or whatever kind of scam they are trying to pull off. I saw their automated customer service number 800-381-2954. It said that they canceled my membership and will refund the latest fees within five business days. They should put it in BOLD print that you are signing up for a monthly scam! They would get ZERO STARS if that was possible!!!
