Shortly after getting my phone it went missing at a public event. I was told to file a police report and email it to them, which I did twice. I've followed up several times because I haven't received it yet. After a month, I was just told to pay for a replacement and the police report apparently doesn't matter. That's not my issue. My issue is I did exactly as told a month ago and I have been without any phone all this time. I have to go to someone's house to use a phone to call them. Absolutely unacceptable. Why call if their answers are meaningless? No one knows what they're talking about there.
The service worked
The service worked. Couldn't change the phone or anything. Customer Service was very misleading. Told me that the any Virgin Mobile phone could work. Bought the phone, customer service says never mind. It's crazy how incompetent they are. The service itself was fine, really disappointed and don't understand why any unlocked phone won't work with them. I don't see why they lock the SIM to the phone.

I had a excellent experience with Jane. She was terrific. Jane helped me with everything that I needed. Such a joy dealing with Ms. Jane. I wish all of your representative had a pleasant personality as Ms. JANE. I HAD TO KNOW AND REMEMBER HER NAME BECAUSE SHE WAS AMAZING. This is the worst company on the planet. My disabled mom has been with them for years, and the phones used to sort of work. Last year, she had to get a different phone from them, and it is total garbage. Dropping every call 30 seconds in, won't let you answer calls, texts take days to go through if they go through at all. Called to complain and was told she would have to pay them 80$ for a new phone, brand unknown, details unknown. Mom can't afford that, especially since there's no reason to believe the phone would even work. I got her one from their Quality One seller, a Moto 5G. I have been on the phone with them for over a week, and the service will not work- no calls or texts. This is ridiculous. They've told me several different things and none of it works. This is nothing but a racket. They should be shut down!
Their Harrassment Makes Them Not Worth It
If you call their customer service, you will be lucky if anyone answers before an hour has passed. If you do get an answer, then you need to struggle with a language barrier. I had them a few years ago and I left them because they closed my account alleging I wasn'tusing the phone service even though I was using the service. Now 3 years later I thought they may have improved, so I rejoined them. Every month I make 1-3 calls and a couple of texts. Yet every single week I get an email telling me I have to use the phone or lose service. And now, on top of the emails, I am getting regular mail in which they are threatening to shut of service because I am not using my phone. Oh, let me be clear that wi-fi is not enabled so I am using their service. Today, after getting a snail mail from them, I called them to inquire why they keep sending me notifications and even threatening me. The person who finally answered, after 1.25 hours waiting for them to answer the phone, was barely audible, had no clue what I was saying and couldn't speak english too good. The person told me they had to submit my question to an "Escalated Higher-up Dept". Just because it is a free service doesn't mean I have to be harrased and bullied into using the phone more than what I already do use it for. The aggravation is not worth it and I am quitting their insane crap.

Hi I'm Clyde I've been using assurance wireless for 33 years now problems I'm giving this review for all you one starers I wrote a 900 letter report but since I had to leave page for some info it started all over I never hit post so I don't know if it's out there so for just the highlights never experienced out of the 1080 one star reviews three of the most common complaints for the ones I have hear is the facts without the overdrawn explanation if you want to reach insurance wireless help center or whatever the beep number is sorry if you don't like my foul language using beep in place of bad worlds now to contact insurance wireless help center there is a system in play that makes it so you can't actually get your phone call through before the 3rd Day reset so as long as you're calling after a fix or before you can even get that fixed I can't help you but after you get fixed it takes 3 days in about after you slept the fourth day when you wake up you call them up and it takes less than 45 minutes to get answered and I will tell you I waited 1 hour 36 minutes and 24 seconds timed for them to answer before learning if you wait 3 days and on the fourth day a couple of hours around 7:30+ am you can reach them in less than 45 minutes if you call Sooner for those people complaining about reaching them the system resets and you'll have to call them again after 3 days when you've stopped calling them. "so there" sorry once again I just typed on my phone a 3 and a half hour long reply to all complaints and it was all lost...
Now if you would like to know while the ACP program is in effect it's $30 off your bill if you're paying for phone service I had a $60 plan which came up to $75 with phone insurance while the ACP plan was is in effect while I was with cricket I only had to pay $35 with insurance and when I got rid of the insurance $5 off also with direct deposit so I was only paying for unlimited data talk and text it was $25 and when I say unlimited there is no slow down drop calls or wait! For the next part I'll explain how I've been with assurance wireless for 31 years and in all that time all the learning all the knowledge I've learned all the tricks if you want a phone that will work with the insurance wireless chip there are three companies with phone and chip two of them the last company only gives you a phone with these companies you get the phones anyway you don't put in their chip it will lock with that company you immediately put in assurance wireless chip and push the 3 Digit pin I was trying to look up I couldn't find it but the insurance wireless people pin they gave. They gave me a star or pound 69 or 68 or 66 number which goes directly to one of the representative who will answer your call in less than 2 minutes otherwise they say push 611 to get ahold for some assistance it actually takes you to T-Mobile and after they force you to give them all your info they either give you the number which I hope you saved or transfer you to the right people because insurance wireless is through T-Mobile now for the other complaints that I lost while searching that info I've solved everyone's getting ahold of them problems. In the last 8 months I've had two replace three phones because I'm prone to dropping my phone it used to be free unlimited times to replace a assurance wireless phone but in 2019 they started charging it started at 5$ now they want 80$ in the last two years starting when I got back with them two years on this day September 2nd 2022 I was told to get a new phone it would cost 5$ this year two weeks ago may 17th 2024 they said it was going to cost 80$ they'll probably still go up but if you followed my instructions sorry I'd have to leave this site to get the companies and I don't have the time for that it's 12:20 in the morning or midnight anyways you should be able to get the first assurance wireless phone free then three more phones free with info I gave you 😤 now for the other complaint about the phone not working with internet I get in the last few months fixed through the providers and do as suggested no problems also the slow down can't fix that unless you switch to cricket but if they ask you to reset your phone with reset Wi-Fi internet data blah blah blah it will literally crash your phone I did that 6 days ago and haven't had the time to call them back so that information i spent righting that was lost took 3:30 hours and minutes starting at 8: o-clock and this took me till now 12:33 midnight don't ever rest settings by resetting the above thing I just mentioned. dropped calls I no longer have a problem with did have the problem with Internet but I found a solution only use phone for one or three movies and don't watch y. o. u. t. u. b.e wrote all letters separately so they can't sue me cuz I looked it up if you're not writing the companies name web link or affiliat by actual design it's legal periods added protec it eats all data in 5min 🚫 write more
Ready to file a lawsuit
I have been trying to get my brother's phone replaced for 8 weeks..due to a dead battery. He is disabled with Parkinson's disease and needs this phone urgently for medical appointments and to contact relatives for assistance. Language barrier alongside of abject incompetence has me ready to file charges against this company and it's parent company T Mobile for this dangerous neglect.

Wish I could give them a 0 that's just how frustrated I am. Please tell me do you have anybody working in "customer service" evidently you don't. I've held for way over 30 minutes only to hear the same recorded stuff over and over again. I was a new client and if this is how you work I won't be a client and certainly will not recommend Assurances Wireless to anyone.

WORST SERVICE EVER!!! And what’s worse, your supervisors LIE!!! Called because there was an issue my mother’s phone and a supervisor assured me that he escalated the issue to the engineering department and that someone was supposed to contact me within 48 hours. This is after already calling for 2 weeks straight trying to get help. Well NO ONE ever called me after 4 days. So when I called back, another supervisor said that the previous supervisor never even put in a ticket order to have someone from engineering to contact me. So the first supervisor LIED!!! Then this current supervisor had the nerve to say my mother’s account was suspended for non-activity for 30 days. Well, of course it’s been inactive…because no one from Assurance Wireless has been able to help us for weeks. I have cancelled the account. I wouldn’t send a dog to Assurance Wireless. A bunch of incompetent and LYING customer service reps and supervisors. Trash!!!

Assurance wireless isn't right false…
Assurance wireless isn't right false advertising. I paid for 24 hours service for a phone and it was on a Wednesday and I didn't get the phone until Monday. They say they don't ship out on weekends but the phone got shipped out on a weekend. Ask for a refund and they said no refund but for me to contact FedEx and that's stupid because they did false advertising. Why lie and then don't do right by your customers. But the back office said no and never can speak to a supervisor at all. They are full of it now.
Customer service not able to help me
I leave one star if I could I would leave zero. I'm not able to get money back for a phone that different than the one I had before. I can't get 80 dollars back. The customer service is dissatisfying. I asked to switch the phone and no customer service representative was able to help me .

I don't view as Assurance Wireless being a bad company I view them as being a really great company that has really helped me off and on over the years. they provide me with the best customer service and they are very understanding and they were able to provide a great device of the Moto g pure and this time around I am so amazed of how well they treat me in customer service I don't consider this company bad I consider it a very amazing company with good people and I am just so thankful from God above in heaven that God provided unlimited service with unlimited talk unlimited texts and unlimited data in the state of California even though I don't like being a California native I just love being around Assurance Wireless
