Not great
1.Badly signposted 2.Waited in the rain with 10 people and no staff member came to help 3.Had to instruct staff to let people know they can come inside 4.Delayed results 5.Unresponsive customer service
Great customer service and results came in time even after RETEST
Great customer service and received final results in time. My PCR test result first came out as "RETEST", talked to customer service and they expedited retesting (using the original sample) and finally got results in next couple of hours. Back on track with my travel plans. I didn't give full 5 starts because it caused a huge panic when they sent out "RETEST" notice along with message that retesting would take another 24 hours, which would have ruined my travel plans . However, they expedited the retesting on my followup, so all is well that ends well. The final results were still within originally promised time.
Excellent, fast service at Edinburgh Airport
Used the test centre near Edinburgh airport for day 2 PCR test - excellent service, very helpful, friendly staff and fast turn around of results. I went to the centre 6.15 pm and had results by 3.15pm the next day. Would use this service again in the future
I am appalled by the customer service…
I am appalled by the customer service provided by this company. Really rude, one line answers to the enquiries and extremely hard to get hold of anyone. Every time you need to speak to someone you have to go through an automated chat bot that asks you the same identifying questions before eventually you are allowed to send a message to someone. Then when they respond with a one liner , it’s again same process to follow up so it takes about 5 minutes every time before you can even type a message. I paid £60 for a test to release with day 5 falling on Xmas day - fair enough all drop boxes are closed on that day but even though their test centres are open on 26th I am not allowed to drop the test to any of theircentres and can only do it on 27th which by the time the result comes out it will likely be my day 8. Asked for discount and I was told no.
Sameday Turnaround: NOT THE CASE
I paid the extra fee for "Sameday Turnaround" and didn't get my results by 23:59 on the day of my test (which was at 9:00am that day). I then had to chat with a robot at midnight in an attempt to get my results, and when they arrived delayed (not thanks to the robot), I received no apology whatsoever. Furthermore, when contacting them for a refund, they reply that "it does state that the turnaround is an aim and not a guarantee". In fact, if you carefully read the long terms and conditions one automatically agrees with, it says:
7.3 Timescales are estimates only. Whilst we will endeavour to dispatch testing kits and process returned specimens promptly, timescales provides are estimates only and no guarantee is given as to any timescale. As a result, our products cannot be relied upon where time is of the essence for the provision of the results.
Poor customer service
Poor customer service this time. Cannot reach anyone and Cyberon hasn't been very helpful. The link in the email they provide for questions regarding my test doesn't work. The page cannot be found and it gets directed to a tawk.to page where a parakeet appears. Would like to know how can they speed up the retest process as I needed my results urgently.
This was last night but assured screening manage to turn around the retest in less than 24 hours and received a new confirmation with the result just before midnight. They could have provided more information regarding how long the retest was going to really take to avoid the stress.
DON'T USE THIS COMPANY
Got an email to say needing a restest and my results will be delayed by 24 hours.
Luckily I'd hedged my bets and booked a second test with another company so was able to fly.
Still not received my results. A total joke of an outfit. Will be charging back my credit card.
Take my advice and use another company.
DO NOT USE IF YOU WANT TO GO OUT
HORRIBLE! DO NOT USE!
I understand that because I arrived on Friday, my test was not received in my house until Saturday, ok. Then, because it is weekend, they technically wouldn’t received my sample until Tuesday. OK. They received it at 7am on Tuesday, even though they blame Royal Mail if there are delays - completely untrue since they sent it all in time.
We are on Wednesday night and I have no answer from them. I get in touch with the bot (very outdated system by the way) and I get an e-mail saying that they cannot confirm whether my sample is being tested already. Excuse me? It arrived more than 36h ago into your lab!!!! And you did not even notify me on that, only royal mail.
I’m lucky I had to leave the country again two days ago, but I’m certainly not using this company for when I’m back, otherwise I’d be confined forever!!!!! God knows. Horrible service.
Very smooth process throughout
Very smooth process throughout. Ordered, fast delivery. Dropped the test at the allocated spot and it was collected and processed well within the next day promise and this being 3-4 days before Xmas, I am so happy with that considering it is so much cheaper than all the alternatives.
My only reason for 4stars instead of 5 was because the need for passport details when my son doesn't have one and doesn't need one because of the CTA, so that was annoying to organise and the lack of human communication in the questions page to answer any questions outside of FAQs.
But I am so happy and will use this service again as a result.
Can't fault the service from this…
Can't fault the service from this company. I entered my test no wrong on the submission form I contacted them and they rectified it within a couple of hours. Dropped off tests at a drop box at 3pm and got our results at 4.30pm the next day. Stress over in plenty time before our flights.
Thank you to a guy in the centre,he…
Thank you to a guy in the centre,he helped me to correct my mistake I made ,so helpful and professional,he guide a lot ,amd resolved my problem ,I registered in advance that was my mistake ,he said the correct way is to do the test ,then do the test ,then next step is register date and time and then bring to drop off box ,he was so helpful and look after me so well, thank you !!! Otherwise I will have not fly on date I suppose as I made a mistake to register test in advance .The sight on line service is awful ,customer service had no clue that I can. My sample submission for a PCR test…
The sample submission for a PCR test result using AssuredScreening.com was meant to provide me with a negative covid PCR test result and a fit-to-fly certificate to fly to South Africa on Sunday 19 December. I had sent the test to them in the very early morning just after midnight/ early hours of Friday 17 December. The very beginning of the Friday. As a result of not receiving these results earlier and on time, I had to cancel my flight on Sunday 19 December and rebook a new flight for last night, Monday 20 December. I had to take an emergency PCR test yesterday morning (Monday 20 December) at the airport costing £120, and pay for the emergency 3 hour result. I passed with a negative result and left at 5:30pm from Heathrow and am already in South Africa. The purpose for which I used AssuredScreening.com in my travel arrangements was a complete failure. I have only just received my test results by email now. They should refrain from offering this failure of a service to unsuspecting customers in the future. It is a travesty and has cost me a lot of money! Very very dishonest!!!
Check your booking terms and refund options!
I have used Assured Screening several times for business trips without issue. However, my last trip was cancelled. When I tried to get a partial refund for the laboratory fee as it clearly states I can on the FAQs and 24/7 help, I was told that this does not apply to Day 2 tests. Apparently this is stated upon booking, I honestly can't remember, however, there shouldn't be misleading information given to customers on the help section that are contradictory. Bear that in mind when booking and avoid using this service if your travel plans are not fixed (as is with most travel at the moment).
Test submitted Friday but no results…
Test submitted Friday but no results until Tuesday. Not exactly rapid testing !
Confined for 5 days!
Two tests taken on Day1 and posted in Royal Mail box. Test results for one arrived in less than 24 hours. Excellent. Nothing for the other test (mine).
Day 4 after not even an acknowledgement that my test had been received I contacted the chat twice but could make no sense of it. I emailed. Sorry, this site is no longer operating but try this one. At last I received a reply saying my test was in the lab.Today, Day 5, my result arrived. This took far too long and I had to confine for more days than I had anticipated.
Worst covid testing company
Worst website, worst customer service, worst company I’ve ever tested with. Never again!
Day 2 PCR test on time
Booked the Day 2 test and then had to complete a short questionnaire informing about my arrival in the UK, etc. I immediately then got the code to include in the PLF form. Once arrived in the UK, I visited the King's Cross test centre. The staff gave me the pack and then I had to do the test by myself. This is why I've given 4 and not 5 stars. Since it's a PCR test, I'd prefer if there was a professional to do it. I later received two emails. The first one informed me that the sample has arrived at the lab and the second one that the sample is being processed. I received the first email around 1am and the second one at 1pm the next day. I then received the test results at 8pm the next day. The overall experience was ok. I was a bit hesitant and didn't know what to expect after reading the negative reviews but this is just my personal experience.
Avoid this company if you can
They have a process to follow which might work well, if everything goes perfectly. If there is one step in the process that goes bad or something changes, it’s almost impossible to get in contact with them. You have to go through a chatbot which promise 2 hour response time for urgent request and 6 hours for rest -this is not something that actually happens.
After filing a complaint, there is a lot of shift blame, no fair customer treatment and certainly no refund. With all this arguing back and forth, it would have been cheaper for them just to issue a refund and leave a happy customer.
There are plenty of other companies out there who does a better job, who issues PLF codes instantly after payment, and charge less. Avoid if you can.
Wrong name on results and no way to contact Customer Service.
I did my test and got my results no problem. However, they name on my test results is just my first name (two words), rather than my full name. Because of this, the app for my airline won't accept my results.
This would be fine if I could contact Assured Screening to fix it, but I cannot. Their 24/7 automated chat is telling me my barcode ID is not valid (I didn't make a mistake), and the option to message on the website is not working (it is the 20/12/2021). Very frustrating as now I cannot check in online and I might not be allowed on my flight.
Very impressed
Very impressed. PCR tests arrived 2pm Saturday in Orpington. Dropped at Kings Cross and results back with us by 5pm Sunday. Chose Assured because they have their own lab. My search of providers showed those that use third part labs have more delays. The one star reviews were about refunds, quit often due to not reading ToCs properly
