A Disappointing Dining Experience at Aston University Conference Centre

We recently had the misfortune of dining at the Aston University Conference Centre, and I must say, the experience was nothing short of appalling. The food served was not only poorly prepared but downright inedible. It was clear that no attention had been given to its preparation—everything felt uncooked and rushed, as though quality control was completely absent from the kitchen.

What made the situation even worse was the manager’s attitude. Instead of listening to our constructive feedback and addressing the concerns, they were dismissive and even talked back in an unprofessional manner. This lack of customer care was both shocking and unacceptable for a venue of this standard.

To add insult to injury, the food served to the children was outrageously salty, particularly the chips. It was so bad that we had no choice but to send the food back, hoping for a more appropriate replacement. Unfortunately, no such effort was made, and it seemed as though our concerns were outright ignored.

I’m going to tell everyone about this experience, especially about the excessive saltiness of the chips for children. It was not only careless but also concerning from a health perspective. For an institution like Aston University, this was a disappointing and unacceptable experience that requires immediate attention and serious improvement.

Aston University Engineering Academy is…

Aston University Engineering Academy is a con, they portray themselves as an Engineering institution, however my son did more practical at home in the garage. The school lacks any discipline and care, partly I guess because of students mainly from inner city Birmingham which has led to the Head of year not being fit for purpose, due to lack of interest infact tried to discourage my son from taking a course which he completely breezed past. The lack of respect for teachers and the anti social behavior in the school has meant that most teachers are not bothered, which I don't fully blame them for. However if you want your son or daughter to be in a respected well mannered environment with lots of practical support and tuition, then this is definitely isn't the place! There are other Engineering institutions out there that get the students involved a lot more practically in a pleasant environment. Parents you have been warned.
Don't fall for the open day hype!
