Podcastle has been a god-send for recording our podcast. We do a weekly show about film, games and TV and the recording studio makes it easy to record remotely with local recording.

Started my podcast Menunmuted, signed up with podcastle and they made it very easy to edit and distribute my podcast to Apple and Spotify. Great if starting off and good price. Good customer service they respond to emails timely also.

The software is really easy to use and beginner friendly. I also appreciate the AI features to improve the quality of my sound since I don’t have a recording studio and equipment.
My overall experience has been good however it can be a little glitchy here and there with the sound not playing. Make sure you use Chrome for editing.
Customer service so far has been really helpful and quick to answer questions.
I also think it would be great to have an easier way to restore a previous version of your project in case something goes wrong.
I also think it’s a little pricey.

They are predatory and their customer service is lacking. I wanted to try them out since I was deciding between Riverside and them, but I didn't even have a chance to really play around with them for a month or two since they charged me a YEAR subscription after one week of registration. I would have loved to have given them a shot and gladly paid for a month or two to be able to test, but since they charged me a year AND refused to give me a refund on top of that, I will not be engaging with them and will not use them going forward even if they had been a better product. This is super shitty and I hope that the start to think about Long term customer value instead of near term profits. If any investors are looking at them, this is probably how they are inflating numbers of customers. Just because they get a year charge does NOT mean that the customer is happy NOR satisfied... garbage situation.

I love this podcast website. I was able to record, mix, and publish my podcast in a week! I was thrilled about the outcome entirely

This is my personal experience.
Your experience might be different, but that's what the free trial is for, and I had a great experience using Podcastle for free. The support was helpful with a lost podcast file. Twice they were able to recover it when my guest couldn't upload the files completely on their side. They also offered me another free month when we thought the file was lost initially. So I got to use Podcastle for free for 2 months. And I personally enjoy the whole vibe of the website. Only the AI Voice & Video Tools are not good enough in my opinion. It sounds and looks overly processed. But anyway, I believe it's better to invest in a good mic than to try to fix bad sounds with AI. Overall the eperience has been pleasant with the platform as well as the support. I also love the teleprompter, which is built in—that is great for recording solo videos. Podcastle is a really affordable option for those starting with podcasting; I would recommend giving it a try.

I would very much recommend NOT using this company. Not only did the software its self disappoint but don't dare to forget to cancel your free trial, and for the love of all things DON'T PAY FOR THE YEAR. If you want to cancel at any time they will not refund you, or even pro rate you for the months used (even if you have not used the software at all in any way past the 7 day free trial). I tried to work out a very equitable solution which would have allowed me to pay for the months used, however they refused because of the very short 7 day refund policy.
The product is not good, the service is BAD. Just don't... find something else.
Edit: After reading many reviews like mine here on trust pilot you would think that this company would see the LARGE GAP in how they run. I am not the first and will not be the last. DO NOT TRY THIS PRODUCT. There are many other options that I dare say has MUCH better service.
To be clear I was outside of the 7 DAY return policy. I did not demand all my money back, only the money for the remaining months I had not used... from July 15th on.
I feel for the many people that this has happened to. This company offers a product that does not preform, and then allows for a very SMALL window of discovery. Once you are outside of this limited refund policy you are 100% out of luck.

My Experience with Podcastle
I had so much apprehension before starting my podcast. Words like “mixing,” “editing,” and “distribution” made the whole process sound so complicated and overwhelming. But after taking a podcasting course, Podcastle was highly recommended—and I’m so glad I listened. I signed up the same day and published my very first episode right away! The platform is incredibly easy to use, beginner-friendly, and allows you to publish your podcast across multiple platforms effortlessly. My experience with Podcastle has been amazing—it made podcasting feel simple, accessible, and even fun.

BUYER BEWARE - do not use. I did the free trial and I thought I went and cancelled the free trial. They charged me $400. I didn't receive any notice, I just saw the charge on my bank. When I reached out about it only two days later (it was a long weekend), I would have done it on the day of, but they are refusing to refund. I do not use and will not use the platform, and I did not want a membership. There are way better options for editing software out there. These guys are scammers.
EDIT: beyond what they continually say in their reply, they have been beyond unhelpful and what a severe disappointment in customer service . You should not be allowed to trap people in and take over $400. Save yourself a huge headache.

It starts off good, you think you are getting quality but had multiple issues. The support is rubbish, they don't chat with you.
Save yourself time, energy, and money, use another platform.

A few episodes in. Started with a trial and very soon felt like it was worth the jump to the essential plan to get the added features to give my podcast a boost + uplift. A good platform which makes it all the more enjoyable to sitting down and creating content.

Signed up for a trial, all my projects failed and the service was rubbish, they charged me a years fee of £140, ai bot said no refund and we can put you through to a human that is a 12 hour wait....
12 emails were shared with support staff in trying to get my voice over file to be accepted by their system.
After telling them I had tried uploading in both MP3 and WAV formats, they suggested that I 'try uploading WAV format audio' (facepalm).
Did you even read my message?
After finally getting the upload to work, the system tells me I need to sign up to a subscription plan to even test the clone.
Zero consideration for their customer's time. Very much operating on a hope that customers will sign up to a plan based on the sunk cost of already uploading a file for cloning.
ElevenLabs aren't this arrogant. Neither should you be Podcastle.
If you don't allow a user to preview their clone before signing up for a subscription, don't allow them to waste their time uploading their file for cloning until they have a subscription.
I love the interface from Podcastle for editing my audio Podcast. When I had a question for support, they answered very fast and had a good answer.
Absolutely appalling customer service, borderline scam. I signed up for a free trial and found that the software was just not fit for purpose and very buggy.
Despite cancelling my free trial, they still charged me for years subscription.
I immediately emailed customer support to try and overturn this, which I don't think is unreasonable considering I haven't used the software since and have no intention to use it again, but due to their policy's they refuse to give a refund.
This is not a small amount of money for me and I'm extremely disappointed, not only by the product itself, but the lack of understanding on their part.
I had never done a podcast. The Podcastle platform is so easy and the filters and other enhancements are great. Since I started I have been able to get my Podcast live (2 episodes to date) with 8 more in line and ready to schedule. Well done. I was so pleased I dropped them an email to let them know.
I really like how I could organize my different recording and sound effects. I also like the feature where you could fade in and out sounds. Overall for a beginner podcast I would totally recommend this!!
I love podcastle AI, I use it for my You tube videos and the voices are amazing. I highly recommend this application.
