A wonderful place to stay

We have just spent four days at the very cosy B&B. The room was very "delicate" when it comes to design and colouring and very clean. The deck was great with a pool, sunbeds and chairs and free coffee/te. The view is spectacular!!
The owners are very friendly and helpful. If we ever come to St Thomas again we will certainly stay here.
We give At Home in the Tropics our warmest recomammendations.

Gorgeous view of the bay, beautiful historic building

The hosts of At Home in the Tropics provide a cozy and bright air bnb with a gorgeous view of the bay. They have a lovely pool, poolside chairs and a water fountain outside. Pool/beach towels provided, a safe onsite for valubles. Very charming historic building, well-maintained with a great shower and spacious sleeping area. I got very ill from food poisoning on my trip and the wife left me some medicine that was a true life-safer and vacation saver! The ONLY reason I have to give this 4 stars instead of five is because the scent on the linens from the INSANELY STRONG laundry products was so intense that it soaked into everything. I have been back from my trip for 5 months as of mid-March 2026, and I am STILL trying to get the scent out of my $350 suitcase. I have cleaned it with isopropyl alcohol and aired it out in the air and Sun multiple times. (It's not like a suitcase can go into the washing machine!) I also have some clothes that I'm still soaking in vinegar again, now that I pulled them back out of storage for spring and summer. I had to throw away a few articles of clothing.
I had asked the husband if they could consider unscented laundry products and when I checked out he had a scowl on his face and was very unfriendly. Over that! Wow. Otherwise, great place and if you don't care about breathing in toxic, artificial fragrances and don't mind all your belongings getting saturated with it, go for it!
