The Village
The Village, surroundings & staff were all excellent. I was impressed by the high quality of the buildings & layout of what was a listed building used by the electricity industry some years back. All in all this is a lovely place to consider moving too when the time is right. 10 out of 10.

I recently went on a tour of the Audley…
I recently went on a tour of the Audley Village in Chalfont and I was more than impressed with the whole set up and would happily have moved into one of the beautifully designed apartments- although I am not quite ready for this move but it is one I would seriously consider in the future. The apartments are light and spacious with great views of the landscaped gardens. All the useful amenities are on site: restaurants, spa, hairdressers etc with the added advantage of cleaning staff and medical assistance on hand if needed. The atmosphere was warm and friendly, as were the staff. I would have no hesitation on recommending this to anyone looking for a home from home retirement.

The house and facilities were first class although the one bed apartment available in the house was cheaply furnished with the kitchen too intrusive. The outside apartments were situated facing those opposite offering no view or privacy. And finally we didn't get the voucher promised in your prospectus.

Totally understood our mother !
Nothing was too much trouble, nor did we feel rushed or pressured in anyway.

An Owner's view of Audley Fairmile
I've been here just over 6 months now, so one of the newest owners.
My family thought I was too young to consider a retirement village but I'm really happy here and wish I had moved in earlier.
I'm not really a "people person" so my decision was based on the high quality of the village and the facilities.
However, having lived here a while I find the other owners delightful, I've made many friends and look forward to the group gatherings.
The staff are excellent and always try to make things special.
The flat has everything I need, although quite a change after downsizing. Disposing of things was probably the hardest part of the move but someone would have to do it one day.
It is expensive and I was concerned about the inheritance left to my sons but we discussed it and they didn't seem to care as long as I was happy.
I can thoroughly recommend Audley Fairmile village.

We are still wondering though, why we were initially offered a £30 voucher as an incentive to visit, but it didn’t materialise!
