Reasons why their promotions are
for only their children and cousins or their best friends.
Constantly being turned down for promotions
because the management says:
"No matter how good a worker in security [you are],
it does not matter how many years you have worked.
Our friends and children and cousins will be the first to be
promoted. Haven't you looked at
our last names? We're all related.
None of you will have a chance to do anything about it.
Not one of you, our buddies from Tacoma,

I wish there was an option for -5..
I wish there was an option for -5... This company has coupe of Indians working in their office to recruit Indian students or those in need of job to give them 24 hours minimum wage on the books and the rest as much as 40 to 50 of working in cash... As far as I know that's what all the security companies are doing nowadays... they have Indians to cut the deal for them in their offices... I am sure "Revenue Canada" know about this illegal activity but they choose to close they eyes on their scam... Therefore I suggest for the rest of us not pay taxes either... if the new comers can come to this country with a fake intend of going to school but working 50 to 60 hours cash...Why are we as Canadians have to pay taxes???
Heads up other DPSST Security in Southern Oregon
March 2025 Greetings & Beware to the other licensed DPSST professional safety security Officers here in southern Oregon seeking assignments/work. My security partner of years saw a security opening for AU in early summer 2024. I next applied to Allied, As I needed to pick up a second job. I was hired to work for Allied by a Mr. Underwood in Grants Pass Oregon who I assume manages on some level as some type of area supervisor. I only met up with him in person one time, at his home. No professional business office to meet at. Nor a home office location to talk privately. But in someone's kitchen. That was a red flag there. Upon being hired that day in July. I accepted an open- assignment for an unarmed weekend security position at Medford CSL property. I reported in every Sat and Sun morns at 7am and worked till late afternoons. I did my job and was respected by the entire CSL crew. (Thank you CSL employees) And for the exception of one single day off. I worked for Allied Universal for eight months, every weekend. One recent Saturday, while on my shift. Another security officer who worked at an adjoining business property walked over to CSL property to say hello and also say goodbye to me, as he had heard I was leaving. I said to him, I knew nothing about any word my CSL security assignment was ending. I was completely caught off guard and baffled. My job ending the following day, a Sunday. I worked my last day. Said goodbye to CSL staff that I have grown to know. I was contacted by no one through AU to notify me that my unarmed position was over there. Why is this? and how is this for a worldwide ran company? professional, fair and ethical?? Not at all. In the past few months. My long-time security partner and I have reached out to AU via phone messages left, emails sent, and text messages, both to Grants pass supervisor of sort and many attempts to contact AU Portland offices. Our repeated question was after eight months of employment. Never once has there been any sick pay hours, I should be accumulating for working acknowledged on payroll. Why is this? Oregon law is you are given 1 hr of sick pay for every 30 hours worked. Rather you work FT or PT. I know, because I work a PT City job, and the available sick pay is acknowledged on every payroll statement. NOT at Allied Universal who clims to be the largest most successful Security company plus, in the world. Yet NO one from AU bothers to communicate anything in order they run a on the ball- professional company. WHY? No one cares about you once your hired on. And dont expect to be treated well. Because no from Allied will ever contact you, as requested of them. As you dont exist. Even when it comes time to end your working for them. You are merely ghosted. So, thanks to a fellow, local officer for reaching out to give me the word my job there with Allied was NO longer, in your simply walking over to say so- long. This worldwide company needs to step up or step down. Fellow Security officers, Save yourself the aggravation and avoid anything to do with Allied Universal. In the past dozen years Ive provided security. It's the worst company of any in region I have provided service for. Spare yourself the grief of being IGNORED entirely. Taking action is the response to responsibility. What about this AU management and above? Your company, Allied Universal, is double thumbs down. Employment seekers. Dont waste your time. Consider another company to serve-work for.

I had an interview with some site troll...NOT!
I had an interview with some site manager. We emailed back and forth so we had ongoing communications. Morning of the interview I arrive early and sit in the truck until 15 till meeting. I check in with front desk and then I wait for over 30 minutes. No text. No phone call. No nothing! Front desk looked up the job and it had been cancelled. I wasted my time thinking Allied was going to be a professional security. You just another HO with Allied.
False Advertisement of the Positions Available you Applied to
This company will host open interviews but will none stop email, text, and call you about the position that you applied for to schedule an interview. When you get there the position that you may have applied to will not be open and they will tell you it is on a first come first serve basis. Then will tell you that there is nothing open for which you applied wasting your time. They also condescendingly speak to you as though you are in the wrong. JUST KNOW they will not tell you any of this information or that you will need to have a vehicle and Driver's license if you plan on moving forward with this company. Don't let this company waste your time.
I got hired about 1.5 years ago and…
I got hired about 1.5 years ago and wanted to work at Moda center so I applied again. It has literally been 3 weeks of one thing after another trying to just get all the paper work done. Then they did a background check to the time I was 18 years old. I don't even think that is legal. I mean come on. It has been one thing after another just to try to get hired for a part-time job at Moda Center. Don't steer away from this company run!

Allied Universal Security is a piece of…
Allied Universal Security is a piece of trash of a company I was hired and completed my background check and was told I was supposed to be starting a shift. Until the background check agency used by Allied Security constantly screwed up with time, and paperwork I brought this matter to Mr. Wall's account manager he was so full of it along with his recruit buddy Chris If you ask me Allied Universal is just screwed up all around I don't trust these people at all they wasted so much of my time and energy I paid the notary public to complete the background process This Allied Security Company located in Philadelphia is a big joke
Security guard threat people to smacking their phone
I saw a video from one of the security guards which was shameful, and can destroy the dignity of your company. The video is on Youtube. I cannot put its link here because Trustpilot does not allow me.
As you see, one of the security guards ( I understood he works for Allied Universal company by seeing the mark on his arm) hides his id on his neck and after that threats the person who is recording a video in a sidewalk to smacking his phone. The security guard continues with cursing and insulting the person who is recording a video in a public sidewalk with F words and other impolite words and invade the private space of the video recorder. This continues until the police come and says to the guard that recording video in a public sidewalk is completely legal.
The behavior of the security guard is shameful and can destroy the reputation of your company.
Horrendous company and people
Horrendous company and people! My claim was handed to this company by Tesco Pet Insurance. They make it clear at the beginning of the call that they are not allowed to conduct a call whilst you are driving, which I found strange considering the call was to ask questions about a claim. I quickly realised the reason for this is because they are calling to completely interrogate you like a criminal, having already made up their minds up that you are trying to commit insurance fraud without knowing the facts. The representative (Claire Price) would not let me speak or properly explain the situation, she continually spoke over me to the point I had to end the call as we were just getting no where. If you have a choice I'd avoid this company and it's people at all costs. It astounds me that such a large reputable company like Tesco is using a company of complete incompetent human beings to discuss claims they clearly no very little about. Extremely poor customer service and competency skills shown by this company.
Been working security for 7 years
Been working security for 7 years. Have worked for 2 companies and worked with colleagues with another 5 security companies. The consensus is in. The word of mouth advertising is appalling. Allied Universal is the worst security company on the market. This isn’t my opinion but my colleagues opinions. The experiences include but are not limited to; No paid time off, lying, severe corruption with office politics, forcing work and breaking labor laws, harassing their employees with other employees as well as clients, and my personal experience is missing 5 weekly paychecks within a twelve month period. This is actually a blessing because missing only 5 weekly paychecks in a year is good luck with this company. I have heard heart breaking stories. Avoid Allied Universal like the Black Death.
Allied Universal
Actually, I had a positive experience with the investigator who came to my home. He was sent to my home from Next insurance who didn’t provide him with any information whatsoever, but he was courteous. He was a nice person and he was not overbearing. I was in the home with my son. He was respectfully he took his shoes off. I don’t have anything negative to say about Eric. Next Insurance on the other hand, horrible

They employ thick and stupid brain dead authoritarian guys with huge egos. I would not recommend. Seen lots of YouTube videos. They’re so arrogant in their ignorance of the law too. Horrible company. I’d give it zero stars if it was possible.
Several of the employees engage in…
Several of the employees engage in racial derogatory comments on the CB radio even going as far as giving names dates of births and addresses trying to entice hate and or crime.
Even going far is claiming that I am a sexual predator which I am not.
At least three of your employees are doing this it has been recorded and it is on YouTube and Facebook.
