Communication was excellent and it was…

Communication was excellent and it was easy to book online until I couldn't remember my card code so I called and explained what I needed and they were very accommodating. The technician Lewis was great he called informing me of arrival time and called to say he was here and was great to ask questions during the whole process. Many thanks and I will recommend to anyone needing a DPF clean.

DPF Filter Full (Red warning light)

My DPF filter was full and couldn’t wait to take it into a garage. I called and they came out the next day. Lewis ran the diagnostics and cleaned the filter. It turned out that I needed sensors replacing which they quoted for and Lewis came out again shortly after to change these. It turned out one of the sensors was loose so he didn’t charge me for this part. Lewis was extremely polite, professional, reliable and more importantly fair. I hope to not have any further problems with my DPF but if I did I wouldn’t hesitate to use DPF specialist again.

I needed my dpf cleaning asap and Auto…

I needed my dpf cleaning asap and Auto Assist dealt with my request promptly.
The following day Luke turned up and done a full diagnostic test and changed a dpf sensor and done a full clean. He explained the diagnosis and was very efficient. Couldn’t be happier, Thankyou guys, and a special Thankyou to Luke 👍

DPF cleaning

The guy who came out to service my car was very friendly gave me as much information as possible about the job and only took 30 minutes for £400 which is a lot of money i though it might have taken the full 2 hours . But it worked the engine management fault light is off and have noticed a slight increase in mpg which is good considering the price of fuel today

Highly recommend Adam

Adam was great all round from coming out and doing the dpf clean and to now coming out and replacing and fitting the new vaporiser. Couldn’t fault anything. Genuine bloke and knows his stuff. Would happily use again if I ever had any problems. Thank you

Terrible Customer Service

This company has terrible customer service. I contacted them because I was getting an intermittent DPF warning light. DPF Specialists claimed they would come out, carry out a diagnosis, and advise on the fix. They did come out, performed a diagnosis, and immediately insisted the pressure sensor needed replacing—even though it had already been replaced just a few days earlier and wasn’t causing any issues. The engineer pushed hard for this replacement and said that a DPF clean would resolve the problem.

Five days later, the DPF warning light came back, and the car behaved exactly the same as before. I’m now almost £500 out of pocket and in the exact same position as before calling DPF Specialists—who, by the way, also operate under the name Auto Assist Group.

When I contacted them again to report the ongoing issue, they showed no interest whatsoever and simply sent me a claims form. After I completed and returned it, they then tried to sell me a diagnostic scanner so I could provide them with a fault code. Yes, I was shocked too. They then claimed they couldn’t proceed with the warranty without this information.

Considering they charge £179 for diagnostics, why wasn’t this offered in the first place? It’s clear they are more focused on taking money than helping customers. The engineer advised me to replace the sensor and have the DPF cleaned to resolve the issue, and I followed that advice. Now DPF Specialists/Auto Assist Group are refusing to take responsibility.

Avoid this company and use real professionals—these people are clearly not. You have been warned.

Only getting a 1 star as i couldn't…

Only getting a 1 star as i couldn't give any lower.
Performed a DPF clean on my car and couldn't reset the codes on the first visit. So another engineer had to come the following day. Didn't force a regen as there was other issues, which we was advised of before clean, but wasn't told they couldn't complete the job. We should have been told to reschedule once they where done, but wasn't.
A pipe was left off the DPF pressure sensor which they accuse us of doing and didnt take accountability for even though this could give a false reading of the before and after reading but they were not interested!!
After trying to organise the clean to be done again properly I was told i didnt pay for warranty. No but I paid for the job to be done correctly and in full.. not half a job!!!
Be very careful before you book with this company!!!

Professional and quick service.

Professional and quick service.
I called in the morning and they had availability in the afternoon to come and refill my DPF fluid and reset the error codes. They came to my home and completed the in less than an hour. They also checked the condition of my DPF, which thankfully was in good health.

Absolutely jokers, stay away!!

Absolutely jokers, from customer service to installation.

Left my vehicle covered in oil when the mechanic forgot to put the oil cap back on, tried to hide his mess but wiping it everywhere, DPF clean was poor and had to have a proper company sort, customer service failed to follow up my complaint and still haven’t provided me with the paid report!! Which was due 7 days after.

Great experience

Great experience. Booked online but got a call offering an earlier slot, I couldn’t make it but offered the next best appointment for me. Great communication on timing for appointments and when to expect someone to come out.
I had Lewis come out to me, super friendly and super quick. Was very communicative and giving me a heads up on what he’s seen during the cleaning. 10/10 would recommend.

Craig came out again to clean my DPF…

Craig came out again to clean my DPF and did an excellent job. He’s a very polite and kind man who took the time to explain everything clearly, so I actually understood how it all works. I really appreciated that.

I would absolutely recommend Craig to anyone. He even gave me some helpful tips on other things as well.
