Bought the pumpkin 10.1 inch Android 10 with the detachable screen, about one month later the connector plug that plugs into the back of the screen became faulty. The two plastic push in clips either side of the plug that release the small lock in pins to remove the connector from the screen had fallen out, I had also had screen flickering now and then when adjusting the angle of the screen. I learned to live with it by just leaving it attached every night as the only way to remove the screen was prising off the connector with a small flat headed screwdriver. It was only when I was looking at recent purchases on my eBay account (17/05/2021) that I realized that it was only six months old so sent eBay seller e-coolstores a message about my problem replied almost instantly well next day asking for me to please give them a chance to resolve the issue and asked for me to take some photos of the the connector. Sent the photos and stated that I had to completely remove the head unit to detach the connector from screen. At the point of removing the connector I noticed that the red wire from the connector had come away from the connector and stated that the disconnected wire could of been the cause of the flickering screen and stated that I had a funny feeling that I would be left without a music source until the matter is resolved. I decided to install the unit back in the car and to my surprise it worked same as before with the red wire not even connected to the connector. Haven't heard back from them since asking for photos, five days after I messaged asking for an update to my problem another ten days later still no response

Avoid this company at all costs, product was bad quality for the price, the customer service is bad, ignored my messages on numerous occasions and trying to get a refund is difficult

Bought the touch screen stereo for my Corsa D apparently an ‘easy fit’ took about half and hour trying to get all the wires out the way and just about force it in. When it was finally in I started to smell burning, turns out it was smoking, luckily I managed to disconnect my car battery and no harm or damage was done, but the stereo totally stopped working. Sent them an email but doubt they’ll reply or refund AVOID

This company is disgusting! They sell you completely rubbish and then when you return it, they get you to return to there old address but the delivery company know that they have moved so they have them forward the parcels to the new place. Basically so you’re returning items don’t technically arrive. Then they can help themselves to not refund the item. If I was you I’d stay well well away. I’ll be taking these to court for my £300 back!!

First unit lasted a couple of years but then the screen stopped responding to touch inputs.

I bought a replacement. Big mistake.

Worked well at first but after a few months the unit refused to boot up. Pumpkin support refused to provide a replacement and told me to get the unit repaired locally. Then they sent a replacement Android board and told me to carry out the installation myself. When that did not fix the problem they said they would send a new motherboard if I paid $20. I was not willing to do that and they refused to send a replacement unit.
Do not buy Pumpkin car equipment!

It all works champion for a couple of months, and then gradually it falls apart and by now...the touchscreen is completely useless, only function is radio via manual knobs or remote, or reinserting SD to get music. And because you can't access albums, you just have to skip through the hundreds of songs you've saved. GPS can't work without touchscreen, handsfree phone won't either. Bin it, am about to refit the original basic Audi Concert unit. Basic but dependable. Aftermarket stuff like this is costly and wastes a lot of your time in researching, the project to fit in, perceveering, and then rewinding it all...

The products are OK, but unfortunately let down by their lack of support. The RCA had lots of interference and they decided to ignore my e-mail about this. Then I asked about a replacement part out which I would pay out of my own money just to get the issue resolved quickly (they would make more money from me for basically nothing) and they are for no explicable reason declining and being very difficult to work with. Very strange business practices, guess I'll stick with Pioneer...

Have had a Pumpkin stereo before and had no issues, decided to upgrade got a new one this year have had it a couple of months, worst thing I could have bought, apps crashing dab not working Bluetooth not working sat nav stops working when it chooses, customer service is awful just keep promising to fix the problem but never do, do not buy either from them directly or via ebay.

I did business with this company around 3 years ago without any problems, so I was about to buy a new radio unit again which was about the worst mistake I have made this year. Because I suffered issues with my first unit trying to connect to the Wifi I have been speaking to one of their employees and he promised me that for a limited price I would receive a new head-unit. After I had transfered the money he told me he didn't had the authorization from the management to sell me the headunit for a special price and I had to pay half of the new price.

I didn't agree, but they convinced me using all kind of (afterwards) bad excuses by contacting me via Whatsapp (COVID-19 situation, no possiblity to transfer money via Pay-Pal, warehouse re-location and lots of more curious circumstances). Finally I thought to receive my radio after paying the full amount, but suddenly the shipping broker couldn't release the package because I needed a valid customs clearance as the clearance from Autopumpkin was not valid anymore and they asked to pay again an excesive amount of money (expensive freight cost due to COVID-19 blablabla etc.)

This was really the last straw for me and it was now really clear that they were not going to ship anything out to me. Very painfull lesson, but this company CAN NOT BE TRUSTED (I really wonder how they can sleep at night). Don't let them trick you and if you decide to do business with them always make sure you pay by Pay-Pall or another service where you have the possiblity to receive your money back if you don't receive your radio unit.

Portable DVD player was very poor quality. Screen broke and in order to fix it they wanted me to pay $47 (1/3 or what it cost to buy it) and repair it myself since they are stationed out of Hong Kong. The video to repair it myself was super complex and it appears the screen is held together by basically duct tape as is. Customer service was less than helpful. Don’t do business with this company unless you intend to buy junk and try to fix it yourself.

The reason for the 2 stars is for the communication they did keep in contact but make out they have there head units in stock for the UK which is utter rubbish out for next day delivery I waited over a week and never received but did refund my money for the same money I've bought pioneer better quality stereo and no junk stereo they did offer £10 refund for the messing about

Keep away from this dishonest, fraudulent company. They are probably not even a company - in my experience they are a bunch of liars.
I ordered an android radio from their website and:
1) first they didn't have it in stock, so had to adjust the order and choose a different model
2) it arrived, I installed and the radio kept turning off by itself
3) checked all the connections - radio is faulty - contacted them, and that's when they started wasting my time: asked me for videos, tell me the connection is the problem, asked me to buy further adaptors, wasted more than a month of my time...
4) these ba***rds did not let me return the product for a refund, after asking them multiple times in plain english.
5) ended up installing a different radio - purchased from Amazon. Connected it exactly the same way and this other one works perfectly fine. So Autopumpkin one was 100% faulty.

So, stay away from these bunch of dishonest, unethical liars, because they will not help if you have any problem and their products are likely all s**t quality, like the one I got.

You cannot get a better radio for the price! Ok first off the touch screen response is instant. The screen resolution crystal clear. Didn't have any issues pairing Bluetooth to multiple devices, OBD2, phone, echo auto. WiFi works great and connected at 72 mbps. Although Play store is limited, I can sideload apps. Customer service was great too! Value to buy!

Installed a Pumpkin Android 9.0 VW head unit on my VW Passat sedan 2009. Just as described, it is easily connnected to my phone, the Wifi works well.The touch screen is sensitive and the resolution is good. I use Google Maps for navigation which works perfectly. The head unit is as good for the price.

I have bought a Pumpkin Android car stereo for my MK5 VW Golf, which is well fitted. All the functions work well, including Bluetooth, radio, navigation, and rear camera. The customer service is helpful, I want to install the second rear camera to the car and they help me patiently. Highly recommend.

POS. Bought it brand new had it professionally hooked up and it didn't work. The store and company wont honor the warranty so im out over $350 Dont get scammed

I really wanted to like this unit. The unit itself is "ok". Does a lot of things I like, but does not do anything really well. 11 months in to the 18 month warranty, the unit would not boot. After a lot of back and forth emails with their tech support over the course of a week, it was determined that the main board had died. They offered to send me a new one for $100. I asked about the 18 month warranty. The response was that the $100 is to cover shipping from the UK and insurance. Ha!

I wish that I had never heard of Pumpkin. The unit I bought for my Mazda 3 worked reasonably well for nearly a year and then it failed. The touch screen is unresponsive, the only thing that works is the radio and I have to operate this via the knobs and buttons. That means that GPS, bluetooth audio etc etc are basically gone. It's a piece of crap that I will remove and refit the original Mazda unit.

Less than adequate. Netflix Hulu and Google Play Movies don't work on this unit at all. Unable to format SD card to expand memory.

What a joke of a company. I purchased a car radio and camera off them and I have had to prove again and again thank have paid for what is not a cheap radio! I have now been told to expect to wait another 5-7 days for what should be next day delivery by DPD!! I have argued that next day is next day but they have not answered any more of my emails.

I will never ever buy from them again and if I ever get my radio i hope it fits in my car and I works because if not I shall definitely be unhappy after the website stated that it is the one for my car. I can see this going further.

I hope you have better luck than I have because I would avoid at all costs.
