25 year old VW Passat with display on…

25 year old VW Passat with display on instrument cluster misbehaving, going red when cold, working OK when warm, not cycling both ways through data when pressing control switch on steering arm, and unable to switch between 2 datasets, stuck on one dataset......then went blank. Sent it to Autotronics for repair, but couldn't get parts. Had a spare instrument cluster from car breakers, and they transferred the data chip from my old cluster to the working spare cluster. Hey presto, a fully working cluster again. Next time, I'll just get them to do a data transfer to a spare cluster. Elapsed time, 2 weeks with posting to them on two occasions, and then getting both clusters back from them. Great work by Autotronics.

Refund disaster

I have a airbag ecu that needed repair, I told autotronics the data is corrupt on item can it be fixed, they said send it in if carnt be repaired they only charge 12pound to return item.
Fantastic news its worth the risk for 12 pound, information was great i had updates we have received item, we have gave item to tech, your ecu needs a part. Then can you pay 228. Ok Fantastic must be able to repair gamble paid of, then I had to keep calling as had no updates, to be told item couldn't be repaired and will be sent back and you will be charged the 12 pound I told them I paid in full, they will refund me and deduct 12 pound. Ok fair enough this is when the chasing had started where 6 calls later of asking where is my refund it will be in the bank today then doesn't appear, its frustrating and stressful.
Car has now been of the road for 3 weeks and can now purchase a new ecu after finally getting refund, I had high hopes with this company and was let down so badly

Speedy service …

We sent our EMU to autotronics for fault finding & fixing.
Brilliant & speedy service with confirmation from them as soon as it was received & once it was sorted & ready to return.
Fault was fixed & my aged old van is back on the road again.
Wouldn't hesitate to recommend them / use them again in future.

I have been scammed by these…

I have been scammed by these inexperienced people yesterday I have sent my Bush Amplifier to repair as they asked you before you send what is the issue i told them no sound they charged me 40 pound. plus 20 delivery when they received Amplifier they checked they could not fixed it they said to me we have to send your Amplifier to different warehouse they want me to pay 330 pounds more I said no return my Amplifier .
I would not recommend to anyone who looking to get fixed Bush Amplifier from them they cannot fixed it I wasted my 70 pound.

Once we assessed your Amplifier, it was determined that the fault was more complex and required specialist repair at a partner facility, which is why a further quote was provided.

We completely understand if you chose not to proceed with the additional cost, and as per our policy, the unit was returned to you. While we regret that we couldn’t resolve the issue within the standard service, we acted transparently and gave you the choice before proceeding further.

Top notch work

I'll be honest I sent my clock off kinda knowing the problem but it had already been worked on before hand so wasn't able to repair it but it was replaced slight higher charge than I wanted to pay but I went ahead had it sorted an sent back and it works great I'm very happy with the work and the communication overall I'm happy don't hesitate to use this company .
