Flawless Bench Unlock Experience - 2021 BMW 540i (G30)
A+ review for AutoTuner on the mail-in DME unlock these guys know what they're doing.
If you've got a post-June 2020 G30 540i, you already know the situation. BMW locked the DME and the usual flash tools hit a wall. Mail-in was the only real path forward, and I'll be honest shipping your DME across the country isn't exactly a comfortable feeling the first time.
Packed it up, sent it to their Alabama location, had it back in a few days. Reinstalled it this afternoon. Bootmod3 connected clean, no locked DME errors, flashed Stage 1 without a hiccup.
Process is straightforward, turnaround is fast, and it actually works.

Great tool
Used Autotuner for years great tool very stable no subscription. The only downside side is posting ecu’s off for unlocking I would prefer a yearly subscription and to be able to do the job without risk of posting ecu’s.
