Had an issue with local VAT office addresses containing errors and typos. The service from the OMP team was excellent, keeping us updated with realistic timescales and overcoming hurdles to resolve the problem. Great work & thank you!!

Extremely disappointing service.
We have 6 VAT registrations with AVASK, including registrations and ongoing filings, and the support is completely unacceptable. Response times to tickets are between 3 weeks and 1 month, which is outrageous for a company handling tax compliance.
Our Spanish VAT number took 18 months to obtain, which already caused major business delays.
Now our Italian VAT number has been deactivated, AVASK forced us to redo all the documents from scratch, and we urgently need proof of submission to the Italian Tax Authority to provide to Amazon. Despite multiple urgent follow-ups, AVASK simply does not respond.
Their lack of responsiveness is now putting our Amazon account at risk.
For a firm claiming to specialize in VAT compliance, this level of service is completely unacceptable.

I called and sent emails on February 1, 2026, that we would no longer be using their services. We still got charged so an attempt was made via phone to get resolution - no answer. My initial contact for cancellation was in January but I gave them time to respond.
For over a month now we've been trying to make contact for my 2nd attempt but no one answers.
Their business model seems to be to profit from unauthorized charges and ignore people who seek to cancel due to unsatisfactory performance.

Very disappointing experience. We paid for a VAT registration service in Italy and remained blocked for months with no results. After contacting the Italian tax authorities directly, we discovered that the correct application had never been properly submitted. This caused significant operational disruption and financial damage. Poor communication and lack of accountability. Not recommended.
PS: you didn't escalate nothing, 4 days l m waiting for an answer to my ticket. What a joke.

As many already have said, communication is dreadful, but this is the least of their problems...
It has been 1337 days since AVASK failed to advise of our Spanish VAT filing, and emails are falling on def ears (each of the 3 or 4 point of contacts we've been assigned to say they are 'looking into it').... 3 and a half years....
They changed their Spanish VAT provider, but failed to notify us, meaning our Spanish VAT number became invalid in the VIES database - causing Amazon to see it as invalid. Of course AVASK still charge for Spanish VAT services...
When we changed business address, they only updates 2 of the 7 countries they represent us for VAT....so addresses now mismatch on Amazon.
AVASK are not a serious accounting firm. They are not a member of a regulatory accounting body, and I understand why. I can't imagine the volume of complaints they would receive.
Instead, AVASK are the modern equivalent of Medievil Torture. Never ending promises of resolutions, convoluted and ever changing procedures for contacting and raising queries. Very easy tasks drawn out and complicated.
I would only recommend AVASK to my very worst of enemies. Sadly, I am so intwined with me European taxes I can't leave. It is too late for me.
UPDATE: No surprises, but within hours of this being published AVASK have asked for information so they can assist. I have low expectations that it will be fixed, but they clearly care more about their public image than their customers.

I’ve used them for a few years without issue, but the last couple of months have been awful.
I pay them for one service: to keep me VAT compliant in the EU. They have failed to do that.
I now have an Italian VAT number that is invalid, and Amazon is suspending my services. AVASK can’t even provide proof that they have submitted the correct documentation to the Italian tax authorities, eight weeks after I sent them the requested forms. Multiple sellers appear to be in the same position. Avask knew what IT VAT rule changes were coming as they did a webinar for their customers last summer, but seem to have just failed to act.
This isn’t just lost revenue while it gets sorted. It’s a drop in Amazon sales rank and long term damage to ranks that took years to build (assuming Amazon doesn't totally shut me down!)
Their communication is awful from top to bottom. No acknowledgement from senior management for six weeks. Account managers don’t respond. The support portal ignores tickets, then closes them once a month and tells you to contact your account manager — who then ignores it.
And just to be clear, this is their “VAT Premium Support”. A total joke when it comes to communication.
I won’t even go into the misinformation I’ve been given on multiple issues (lies?). They are simply not to be trusted.
The accounts department isn’t much better. Trying to get a credit note for an incorrect invoice, after months of chasing and multiple phone calls, resulted in two new invoices being created and three credit notes to cancel them all. Incompetent.
Why 2 stars and not 1?
Their export broker service has run smoothly for me. But if things don’t improve soon, I’ll be downgrading the whole review to 1 star.

I rarely write negative reviews, but my experience with AVASK has been extremely disappointing and costly.
In 2024, AVASK failed to submit one of my mandatory compliance reports on time. As a result, I had to pay a penalty to the authorities. This was not a minor issue — it was a direct consequence of their missed reporting obligation.
Unfortunately, the situation repeated itself in 2026.
First, they failed to forward an official authority invoice to me on time. Instead of notifying me immediately, they later sent both the original invoice and a second invoice that already included a penalty. This lack of timely communication directly caused additional financial damage.
Second, I have repeatedly requested access credentials for the compliance portal they used to file reports on my behalf. Despite multiple follow-ups, I still do not have the login details. Their response times are extremely slow, and due to these delays, compliance deadlines have been missed again.
For a company that positions itself as a compliance and regulatory specialist, missing deadlines and withholding access credentials is unacceptable.
Compliance is time-sensitive and critical. When your service provider causes penalties and delays instead of preventing them, that is a serious problem.

Terrible service. Lack of responsibility. No SLAs in place. Customer support does not exist cause they reply in 2-3 days with promise that got your request and will review it soonest possible which never comes.
UPDATE: No improvement and no change after few emails and support tuckets opened. 2 months later no clear info, nor concrete deadlines for solving the issue. Asked for having at least proof of submission on their side - no luck as well. Immediately after rating left only got request for a call to discuss roots for the low rating left on Trust Pilot. Seems like this is of the greatest importance for them. @ Trust Pilot - since you care so much for ratings you should start care for your customers while solving their issues.
