Feels like a scam

This company is a scam. If your selling through amazon FBA, you need to have an account with them, but if you want to cancel.. you can't! They just keep sending invoices, even if they don't have to. Nobody reply's to your mails, nobody is helping you as a customer. Don't sign up here people. It's really bad!

Unreliable and Unprofessional

Unreliable and Unprofessional. This company is disorganized, unresponsive, and fails to deliver even basic services. I do not recommend working with AVASK. No one replies, no action is taken.

I've been chasing AVASK for a refund of €184 since December 2024 — more than eight months of delays, empty promises, and no resolution. Despite repeated follow-ups, they still haven't refunded me.

On top of that, I submitted the EPR de-registration forms and I have been chasing them for weeks. I contacted their compliance team directly and opened support cases.

Frequent Fraud

Frequent Fraud - No communication - Autocharging Invoices

I have been an Avask customer . Our card is repeatedly charged randomly for random invoices, that you can't even ask someone what they're for. I have asked them to stop auto-charging - no response, I have asked them what they're for - no response.

I think that this business is predicated on a financial model where they continue to bill customers & makeup charges until they've had enough. The billing invoices and line items are clearly made up by some exec who thinks people won't know what they're up to.

I am in a few communities and their antics are well known.

The phone lines are permanently offline.

I opened a ticket on their website, no-one has responded for 16 days.

I'm only left to chargeback these transactions and/or take them to SCC (<£10k for us, but good luck to bigger brands).

I would strongly avoid Avask at all costs, I have worked with other providers who are fair.

We engaged AVASK months ago to register…

We engaged AVASK months ago to register our VAT in both Germany and the UK. While our German registration was finally submitted by AVASK, the entire process was marred by extreme delays and lack of communication—and our UK registration still isn’t even underway.

Key Issues:

German Submission Only After Months: Although AVASK eventually sent off our German VAT paperwork, it took far longer than promised—leaving us in limbo and unable to trade confidently in that market.

UK Registration Stalled: Despite repeated follow-ups, there’s been no progress on our UK application. We’ve received no updates on status, required documentation, or expected timelines.

No Responses to Emails or Calls: Countless emails and calls have gone unanswered. When AVASK does reply, it’s with vague, one-sentence acknowledgments that offer no real information.

Conclusion:
AVASK’s one-notch-above-nothing performance—submitting Germany but ignoring the UK—combined with utter radio silence is unacceptable. If you need VAT registration handled promptly and professionally, look elsewhere. With AVASK, you’ll waste precious time chasing them for the simplest updates.

Update (3 December 2025):

After receiving no information for months, we contacted AVASK Spain directly. Their response was astonishing: they explained that because we were on a basic plan, the level of service AVASK provides is, in their own words, “limited”, which essentially means poor communication and long periods with no updates.

It was only after we began actively pressuring AVASK, both privately and publicly, that the company finally reacted and provided any movement on the German registration. This confirms that the delays and silence were not due to the authorities, but due to AVASK’s own internal handling of our case.

Given the months of inactivity, the lack of proactive communication, and the fact that AVASK admitted that clients on basic plans receive a deficient level of attention, we will now be requesting a full refund of all German VAT-related fees paid to date.

Update (4 December 2025):

After insisting repeatedly, we finally obtained the official document from the Bundeszentralamt für Steuern (BZSt). This document confirms that our German VAT number has been issued and active since 27/06/2025. AVASK never informed us of this, not at the time of issuance, nor during any of the following months, despite charging us continuously for the service.

AVASK Spain also acknowledged that because we are on a basic plan, the service is “limited,” which in practice has meant zero updates, zero follow-up, and zero communication for seven months while our VAT number was already issued and valid.

We have now verified that our VAT number is correctly registered and fully active in VIES, proving that the German authorities completed their work long ago. Shockingly, AVASK had not even updated this VAT number in their own internal system. They were entirely unaware that our VAT had been approved months earlier until we forced the issue and provided them with the official document.

If this negligence results in any complication, penalty, or compliance issue with the German tax authorities, we will hold AVASK fully responsible. Their failure to track, communicate, or even record an approved VAT registration for more than five months is a serious breach of their obligations as a compliance provider.

We will now proceed with a formal request for a full refund of all German VAT-related fees paid to date, as AVASK’s performance has been markedly deficient and far below any acceptable professional standard.
