We had a tyre puncture

We had a tyre puncture. Axa, our insurance, sent a service car of the HELP! enterprise.
The "technicien" did a brutal work, so the garage later noticed the wheel hub was damaged. Not to go on with only three hubs fixed properly, the repair is complex.
Axa refuses to pay. I will cancel the contract with Axa.

untrustworthy insurance company

We had AXA for home insurance when living in Paris.
Without going into details we had two phones stolen and a bag with trivial stuff (welcome to Paris) and we had no help whatsoever even after being clear about the additional option from the beginning (that we eventually paid a lot for - for nothing.)

They do everything in their power to be free of any payouts and take weeks of lobbying back and forth between contradicting people for simple errands.

Terrible customer support

Since car insurance is mandatory for all including foreigners who drive cars, then it’s unimaginable that customer support does not speak English! It’s just unacceptable, at least one worker should know English, must recognise that customer speaks English and he/she has to transfer the phone to someone else. And the fact that customer support is from Morocco is another red flag which means company is saving money and taxes on cheaper staff.

Stay Away From This Company

Do not use this company under any circumstances. I paid them for one year of homeowner’s insurance — and due to their horrible customer service, I decided not to renew my policy. They renewed it regardless and told me that I owed them for a few months of coverage. These people are disgusting, as well as emotionally and financially abusive. I refused to pay them, and now they are threatening to send it to a collection agency. I refuse to be intimidated by these fraudsters and told them that every email they send me will go directly into my Spam folder without being read. Stay away from these abusers!

I mad a money transfer from my account…

I mad a money transfer from my account in the UK to my account with AXA bank. It disappeared for 2 weeks and was then returned by AXA to my english account, less charges, with the explication that the person who initiated the transfer was unknown by the beneficiary. All attempts to get even an explication let alone reimbursement of the charges are met with silence. Phone calls are cut off, and local agents receive assurances of action that never happen. Customer Service?

AXA Assurance & Banque Nogaro France…

AXA Assurance & Banque Nogaro France failed to cancel an policy that was added to the home policy that was cancelled. They continued to take money for the additional policy even though Axa were informed of the sale of the property. They accept the house policy was cancelled but continue to try and take money. We have had to stop our bank paying. Axa are refusing to refund our monies.

WARNING

WARNING, don't use this bank under any circumstances. It's a bunch of fraudsters, starting with the director Thomas Buberl, the accountant, and ending with Sabine Bibiche, who uses her FB profile to trap and offer loans. were supposed to pay off a loan of 10,000 euros and everything was settled and paid (over 420) euros and the accountant canceled the shipment as due to the large expenses I had, he will give me 16,000 euros but to repay 15,000 euros and pay 185 euros again for the transfer but the money after 2 there is no month and last night I sent a message to the bank to break all relations with them and in the morning I received a message that they were withdrawing 16,000 euros from my account (which never even reached my account in my bank) so it looks like they made a transfer so that I can collect. I reported them to the police and whoever had similar problems should feel free to contact me, because these are not bankers, but fraudsters

Terrible

Terrible. Got my account closed by the bank without notice in one day, so that I could not use any funds. To retrieve the funds I was requested to provide transfer details of another account. I tried to understand the reason of closure, but was give the answer that it was the management decision.... Not using any of their services ever again.

AXA INTERNATIONAL

AXA INTERNATIONAL - After the French government scheme to change my old oil heating system for the much advertised Pump chaleur, blew up and burnt out several rooms in my house early December 2022 AXA left me without electricity OR heating ALL WINTER !
I am nearly 60 years old. It is now the end of May 2023 and without heating all winter the walls upstairs are covered in black mould and the broken toilet upstairs ( melted plumbing) is ALIVE and stinking with bacteria and creatures!!!!! AXA frequently don't respond to emails or are too busy to call back. Axa mis sold me school insurance (I am a teacher and have residential students ) so my income was never covered! despite a POLICY that clearly said I was insured that suddenly disappeared off MY SPACE after the fire.
I have been left for nearly six months not knowing when or if I will have any income this year without even an apology. They simply do not care.
Do not use AXA insurance for anything.

Untrustworthy Bank

I wish to God that I had checked out the Trustpilot reviews before getting involved with this untrustworthy bank. I opened up a checking account with AXA bank online and used an English-speaking agent named Nicole Rodrigues to facilitate the process. Long story short, I transferred 200€ to the account to pay for my utilities while vacationing in France. I tried several times to access my account but couldn't. I finally asked them to close the account a few weeks ago and return my 200€. I gave them every piece of information they needed to wire me back my money, and they have not returned it. I disputed it with my bank and am currently waiting for the results. These people are crooks. DO NOT USE THEIR SERVICES or you will regret it.

I've had property insurance with Axa…

I've had property insurance with Axa France in Chateauneuf du Faou, Brittany since 2010 and 5 years ago had a storm damage claim on an outbuilding which was paid in full, no problem at all. Fast forward to 2021 when I purchased some further land and buildings next to my property so I went to the local office and added the buildings to the policy to cover damage etc. and paid extra to the premium. In February 2022 a storm damaged one of the buildings but the claim was refused on the basis that I was not insured. Ongoing...emails not replied to, denials that I had even sent emails, so I looked to change companies to ones who had quoted for the same terms, in most cases more than half what I am currently paying Axa. I visited their office on a recent trip to Finistere to be told that I could not end the contract without giving 12 months notice so I suggested that they reduce the premium by the extra I had paid as it wasn't covering my needs. In effect they had taken money under false pretences. No, they can't do that! So, where do I go from here? What started as a good company have now turned into a complete nightmare, run by an underhand bunch of individuals. I would never, ever recommend anyone to use them for property insurance or anything else and I just can't wait to free myself from their clutches. Complete bunch of rogues.

I have a AXA Banque internet account in…

I have a AXA Banque internet account in France. I have been locked out of it for 5/6 months and tried at least 20 times to get someone in the banque who speaks English to help me unblock it, with absolutely no success. Their customer service I'd appalling, no one seems to care or want to reply to my emails!!

Do not open an account with them, choose someone else.

In word they are USELESS.

Appauling - AVOID/TRANSFER to another company

Renewal notice for car:
* notice dated 06/07/22
* notice posted on 22/07/22
* notice recieved on 27/07/22
* renewal date for cover 01/08/22

So, the intent of Axa is clearly not to provide reasonable notice of renewal. This I consider is because they recognise they provide poor customer service and are afraid of advance notice in case this provides an opportunity to customers to seek alternate quotations.

I am in the ''process'' of cancelling my car insurance and the new insurer has requested proof of no-claims. I and the new insurer have between us contacted the Axa agent 10 times to request an email with the required proof. The Axa agent is deliberately not responding to these requests in a clear effort to disrupt the transfer process. So far 2 weeks have elapsed with no response.

At best the actions by Axa are unprofessional but looking at what they have not done, it appears malicious.

They are all very helpful in taking money for premiums but when it comes to providing a decent service, they fall apart. I have been with Axa for 5years, paid premiums and have no claims. They are treating me with great disrespect indicating they have no regard for their customers. I dread to think what would happen if I ever had to make a claim with them.

Judge a company not by what it does when things are going well but how they act hen things are not.

Never never use AXA in France

Never never use AXA in France. I had 4 years of paying full coverage insurance and had no claims so did not experience their total incompetence until I bought a new car and continued my original contract. My car was stolen and recovered burnt out. My collaboratrice with AXA then informed me I was not covered for theft. This , even though my original contract was “ tout risqué “.
I am determined to fight this however I simply want as many people as possible to take note that AXA in France is absolutely the very worst insurance company possible. They should be exposed .

AXA Bank - Worst Customer Service

AXA Bank - Bad Customer Service.
Since May 22 I have had major problem with AXA bank and the transferring of funds from Santander UK. Use to take the usual 3 -5 working days but I made a transfer on 25th May and it landed in my account on the 10th June. AXA said it was 'technical problems'! BUT my mortgage payment was rejected so we incurred bank fees - I was fuming. I made two more payments to AXA France and they were both returned to Santander - reason stated was that my AXA account was closed!! Then AXA advised me my BIC had changed. Every time I make a payment from the UK is cost £25 and I have been changed 3 times now :-( At the moment I made a transfer on 1st July of a substantial amount and today on the 13th July it is still not in my AXA account and again my mortgage has been rejected due to lack of funds. I have sent numerous (at least 30) e mails to AXA within my banking space and they only come back with one word answers - so unhelpful. I am finding this very stressful and causing anxiety. If I could give them a 'zero' star I would. If anybody knows of an e mail where I can directly contact a 'complaints department' i would appreciate it if they could send it onto me please. Or if somebody from AXA reads this and out of decency contacted and resolved this issue that would be a great help. I have been with AXA for j4 years + and had no issues but I believe they have just had some IT issues but this is ridiculous.

thank You

We live in France and on our first trip…

We live in France and on our first trip back to England since Covid we had a situation where the clutch of the car suddenly broke on the steep ramp in the ferry. We had AXA insurance and International breakdown cover which provided a hire car. We reported the incident while still crossing the channel and were told Our car would be recovered from Newhaven and a hire car provided for our onward journey. After a wait of two hours the car was towed away to Brighton. We collected our luggage and went to wait in the ferry terminal for our hire car or notification of where to go to get one. Time moved on and all the local hire car depots had closed. Nobody at Axa bothered ringing back. We were in the terminal for hours and were constantly cut off when enquiring the position. Eventually we rang Axa UK and asked them to liase. They got us through to a person in France who was supposed to help. She made the right noises...we were running out of options as hotels were booked up and the ferry terminal closed at 11.30. We would have been on the quayside with our luggage and not even our car to sleep in. She said she would at least find us some answers before the office closed at 8pm. She never did. In the end we managed to find a really dreadful BandB in Newhaven which still (not surprisingly) had rooms. Filthy place but we were simply relieved to have somewhere. Eventually we got a hire car the next day. Terrible stress and no apology whatsoever. With hotel, taxis, etc we are considerably out of pocket. We cannot get any response to our claim. Avoid at all costs. Zero customer service. Not honest. Left high and dry and mislead. The stress is not worth it.
