Bad customer service

Was with AXA insurance for over 4 years. Bad review is for not being able/willing to send me the "no claims bonus document" via email! Said they can only send it via post. First letter they send never arrived. After calling several times they send the second letter out. After exactly 3 weeks after I cancelled the insurance with AXA, I got the letter via post. My current insurance cancelled my insurance because that document was not provided in time.

Very unhappy the way it turned out. Don't understand why AXA can't just send the document via email, that would save all the frustration, being on the phone for hours and loosing my car insurance for 2 days till everything was fixed!

Customer service is a pain

No problem with the car insurance so far, although I never had a serious claim so far. But every time I need to call customer service, I will lose from half to one hour of my life. I am calling from the morning to change my commercial van policy. There is no such option in the menus, so I have to navigate through all the options, wait to speak to someone, who then informs me that they need to transfer me to the correct department. Then I get a message that their mailbox is full and goodbye! This has happened three times already and still haven't managed to speak to somenoe. No respect for customers time at all.

Policy holders don’t matter to AXA

I changed car and advised all details to AXA ins. On 7th. July 2023. I was told a revised cover note and disc would be issued that day. Nothing arrived, I rang on the 13th (6 days later) and was told it would be posted out. Nothing arrived. I rang again today 18th (11days later) and was told it will be sent today and would take 5working days for postal delivery. That’s a total of 16 days if it arrives. I explained I could not tax my car without current cert. And could not display current road tax or insurance both are offences under the road traffic act. Did they care ???? No, got no satisfaction.

Absolute rubbish - both AXA and Easytrip Car Insurance (their brokers).

Absolute rubbish. I took out insurance with them in April 2023 and paid in full. Despite numerous phone calls and emails to them (and their brokers Easytrip Car Insurance), they have not yet sent me my insurance certificate. Have been stopped by the guards twice for failure to 'display insurance' but thanks to their decency, they saw all my emails asking for the certificate.

Have cancelled the insurance and moved to a different broker and car insurance company.

Denied quotes, overdue deposit return after policy cancellation and multiple broken promises

Over the last couple of weeks I have experienced broken promise after broken promise.
I was quoted an annual premium for my car insurance over the phone and when I rang to lock in the deal the quote was completely denied by the agent I was quoted from, his name was Johnny/Johnathan, the call had to be traced and was confirmed that he did in fact take the call with me and he did in fact quote me the number I said.
After the broken promise of my insurance quote I accepted the fact I was not going to get the price quoted and promised by Johnathan and Axa so I was left with no other choice but to cancel my policy.
On Wednesday May 31 I cancelled my policy with Taylor and was promised and told it would take 3-5 working days for my deposit to be returned, after taking into account the bank holiday Monday I am currently on day 5 without my deposit returned to my account so I have rang Axa to confirm it will be in my account by the end of the day, no surprise to myself this was another broken promise, my deposit had been pending for 5 working days and only activated to come into my account when I rang today, I am now being told it will be in my account next Monday or Tuesday (“hopefully”)
I was not happy with this as i was promised I would have my money back by today so I asked to speak to a manager, I was told the manager was not able to speak to me so a request for a call back was sent to the manager, I was told I should “hopefully” get a call back from the manager today.
An overall mess from Axa I am very disappointed by the service I have been given, complete complacency and broken promises, I would not recommend Axa to anyone
