Excellent customer service. My item was shipped immediately. When USPS claimed there was an insufficient address on the package and they were going to send it back to Backcountry (after it had traveled almost the entire distance to me), Warren Michels personally helped me. He reached out to USPS and got the issue resolved. USPS delivered my package. And of course, there was a complete address label on it which was not damaged at all. USPS just messed up, but Warren fixed it for me and the package arrived in time for Christmas. Thanks to Backcountry and Warren.

Sweater vest was exactly as I ordered and fit like a glove Couldn't be happier.

Website was easy to use and the items came quickly and in great condition.

No information on pant inseam length and had to return with shipping costs. Was told that Europeanaverage length is 30' but have no way to devine this before order was placed It was the last pair in stock and they were not open for contact until the following Monday.. Since contact required to obtain Return authorization instead of asking what else I might like to purchase instead it would be more customer friendly to have acknowledged some understanding that this could be information that might be desired. . Generally I have found in women's pants sizing 30' is short 32 regular and 34 for tall.

Fantastic. Best price I could find online for an Osprey pack (after the 15% discount for signing up for emails). I opted for the free shipping, which said "7-9 days" but it arrived in 2 days & I live on the other side of the country!

Great communication for a back ordered online purchase. It was clear on the product information page that the vest I wanted was going to be back ordered. After placing the order, I received multiple emails giving me notice that it was back ordered and an expected date then an update and then the notice that it had been shipped out. It came before I was initially expecting it and I didn’t feel in the dark, so it was a great experience. Got the vest I wanted, in about the same amount of time I would have expected it with no delays, and I love it. And it was on sale and I didn’t see it on sale anywhere else at the same time.

I rarely trust small companies that don’t have a well-established, trustworthy reputation, but after some sleuthing, and reading too many customer reviews, I decided to try ordering from them. Some of the reviews complained that their back ordered item didn’t come soon enough, so I made sure to check the availability of the product I wanted before ordering. I was pleasantly surprised with how clear their website was with representing their stock, as I was easily able to find and order the something that they had available. Less than a week later, I had the product I order. Though the box was a bit beat up, what I order was in perfect condition, and I am quite pleased with my purchase. I would personally recommend ordering from them, but make sure you know what you’re ordering, and if they have it on-hand before forming assumptions about the company and the product.

I purchased a Six Moons Designs Silver Shadow umbrella. Fast service. Six Moons Designs were sold out of this item for months and all of the other gear company's were also out of stock. Backcountry gear had them. Also they have good gear reviews on YouTube.
