Back to Bases were very helpful and informative from my initial inquiry regarding the laying of a concrete shed base to receiving, very quickly, 3 competitively priced quotes. On deciding what type of base I required a date was agreed and the workmen arrived on time and did a great job. I would have no hesitation in recommending Back to Bases and would use them again in the future.

Fantastic job to get a decrepit old fence replaced with a smart new one in double quick time with little fuss. The team were friendly, polite and professional, and you could see in their sweeping up afterwards how much they respect their customers.

I was recommended this firm by a greenhouse company, and my initial reaction to the quote was surprise at how expensive it was. After reflecting, I recognised I was out of touch with prices and accepted the quote, and this proved the right action. Everyone I dealt with at the company was patient and helpful, but I was most impressed with the two men who undertook the job. Despite frequent offers, they declined drinks and did not need to use any of the facilities in our home. I admired their attention to detail as they set up for concreting, and the finished product looked superb. But that was not all. To obtain water, one of the men repaired the broken hose connection, another closed the garage door, moved three waste bins to close the side gate, and replaced the bins correctly. As promised, the areas where they worked were left clean and tidy.

We recently had five fence panels replaced and a new wooden side gate installed, and we’re absolutely delighted with the results. The new fences look fantastic—sturdy, straight, and a huge improvement to the garden. The side gate is excellent quality too, fitted with a secure key lock and both upper and lower fixtures, which makes it feel solid and reliable.

The work was professional, efficient, and tidy throughout the job. Everything was completed on time and to a very high standard. We’re really pleased with the workmanship and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to anyone looking for quality fencing or gate installation.

Back To Bases completed the base for our new shed and renovation of the base for our garden office on time and to a great standard. The team was very courteous and cleaned up thoroughly afterwards. We'll definitely use them again when we need more work done in our garden.

I highly recommend using Back To Bases! I found them by asking ChatGPT for the best companies to lay a concrete base for a shed I purchased in my area. This came up as the recommended one based on it's own analysis. I called a few places and got quotes alongside calling Back to Bases. In the end, they were the most competitive but what made me choose them was the customer service, i.e. answering my many questions, the professionalism and skill of the team, the speed and quality of the installation of the concrete base and the fact they specialise in doing this. Again, I highly recommend using them.

The BacktoBases team arrived on time and de-constructed & removed my old shed, then had several "challenges" that they addressed quickly and efficiently. Watching the team work was as if it was choreographed: every move was slick, efficient with everyone knowing what was needed and when.
And things were better than I expected: they laid plastic sheet down on the drive to protect it and put sheet down the path to the back garden - keeping it all clear of mud and cement. And the paving slabs were cut to leave a hole where the shed base was cast - I thought I'd have to trim and re-lay slabs where they'd just been taken out - wonderful. Plus a good sweep and hose down at the end. A great job all round!

Very attentive, competitive price, great standard of work

Tony and his team built my grey composite decking and pergola in June 2022 to my specifications. They did a fantastic job. If I need anything doing to my house Tony always gets his team round and they do a great job. His team recently put up some fence posts and an extra drain pipe for my pergola. Nothing is too much trouble. The company is very professional, trustworthy, listen and get the work done to a very high standard. Plus they clean up afterwards.
