Things started well

Things started well, but after the work was completed, the situation quickly went downhill. Problems began to arise with the work carried out, and despite this, the builders have refused to return and put things right. I was left with no choice but to pay another company to rectify the issues. This has been a very disappointing and shocking experience, especially as this company does not appear to offer any guarantee on its work.

Poor provider

Poor provider, below benchmark returns with poor customer service, taking far to long to withdraw funds with a complaints department that looks to absolve any wrong doing, you are doing yourself a disservice by keeping your money with this provider and given time you will loose out on thousands of pounds, I would seek financial advice and move your money to a pension provider that will give you the best returns on your money
because I'm afraid to say it isn't B&CE.

Absolutely disgraceful conduct

Absolutely dreadful customer service spout the same script every time you call. I have been dealing with them since June & still getting the same story (excuses) Seemingly their Director head of customer service & complaints Kevin Martin does not accept calls. He prefers to allow his minions to fob you off with excuses rather than take responsibility for his company's incompetence. I have now contacted the FSA & financial services ombudsman. They are perfectly willing to take your money handing it back seems to be the problem. Makes you wonder what sort of deals they are entering into with people's hard earned contributions.

This company is the worst.

This company is the worst.
I applied for my pension pot in May and we are now in August and still not received my money the excuses they come up with is unreal,
They only communicate by letter, they keep asking me for proof of my address (hello you just sent me a letter) I have sent all the info they asked for twice now they are asking for it AGAIN.
Every time you phone your on hold for about 40 mins then they cut you off.
They never call you back,
The company is a disgrace, I'm retired and I want my pension that I've paid into but they just don't want to give you it 😡
I am now going to escalate this further.
I am going to the omnibusman, papers and anyone who will listen what this company is like. They should be struck off
If you are looking foe somewhere to start a pension pot Beware of this company

They lie and they keep on lying

Opted out of these clowns in June pension payment was due in 10 days called in July yes it’s all being sorted there was a problem but sorted now numerous calls 40 mins at a time emails
raised a complaint with their problem email address B&CEband whatever now Demi from customer service is saying will to get back in September new tax month bearing in mind new tax month started yesterday they are bloody useless by the look on the reviews they should be shut down I’m on the sick with my employer heart failure at present and this money was to go towards paying my bills now they have screwed me again I’m having panic attacks
They should not be in business 😡😡

Shockingly poorly run pension company…

Shockingly poorly run pension company who do not respond to issues and do not then do anything to rectify them. I've been waiting 5 months for them to make a simple correction which they have failed to do. I would not touch them if they were the last pension provider on the planet. Awful.

This company is appalling

This company is appalling. Do not use customer service is very bad they have your money but don't give a dam. I have been waiting weeks to get my small pot but all they keep saying there is a back log so they can't help. My advice would be avoid this company. The reviews speak for theirself

Poor website. Poor return.

I was allocated this outfit as part of the People's Pension. I didn't choose for them to handle my pension. I'm now 69 and believe very much into my "Glide Path" with regard to my pension savings investment. I was surprised and disappointed to see at Xmas that the value of my pension was fluctuating - often downward. When I challenged B&CE they advised me that "investments can go up and down"...
At my stage I feel my holdings should be kept in cash to minimise any potential losses.
So I decided to withdraw my holdings - unfortunately this has to be in stages... Meaning repeated dealings with their difficult website. It's more like trying to borrow money, not retrieve what is already mine.
All in all a thoroughly disappointing experience... I'll be pleased to have all my cash out and draw a line under them.

Rubbish Company

Despite submitting the online form, for small pot pension claim to cash in my policy it is now up to 3 months and still no response or money. By their own admission it is taking 4 weeks to 'reply' to any correspondence and clearly longer than 3 months to actually do anything. They have absolutely no interest in my claim and the last time I telephoned for an update on the status of my claim I expressed my dissatisfaction and the employee immediately encouraged me to fill in the company survey and leave the appropriate review. I am now concerned about the existence of my money at all.

And even emailing there CEO Patrick Heath-Lay directly has no effect, his email address is his full name with the -, then the company email address.

The People’s Pension

The People’s Pension?
Try and avoid them if you can.
This review is from recent/ ongoing dealings with this company that certainly point towards very poor professional leadership and financial integrity in the market place of work place pensions.
This company continues to demonstrate that it simply does not care about its clients financial planning, client concerns or complaints raised - it keeps deferring it’s investigations into “a serious complaint raised about their own pension transfer teams’ professional work ethic and responsibilities”

It would be great to hear back from their CEO.

Have nothing to do with this company

Have nothing to do with this company. I have been of sick since Dec 21 and due to retire April 22. Thinking about retirement I wanted to sort my work pension out. Their website don't allow you In to your account. When you email them you receive a letter a week later saying to go on website to sort your account. They do not listen, read emails or really care. They have your money and that's all they want. I gave someone authorisation to sort this for me because of my ill health and they wouldn't even allow her to sort this for me. So today I told them I was reporting them to the ombudsman. Within a few hours I got into my account. Only thing worry me now is if I take all my money are they allowed to keep any. They should not be playing with people's life's, more so elderly and ill people. Please don't ask me to email you to tell you more cos if you read my emails and letters you can see it all.
