Scam artist of a company.

Scam artist of a company.

Pursue vehicle owner despite it being a civil claim against the driver.

Automatic responses via email and they will print the charge out but not send it until you have no more time.

I am extremely disappointed with the response to my parking ticket appeal. Despite clearly explaining that a technical issue with Apple Pay led to the fine, my appeal was unjustly declined. I have always been diligent about paying for parking, and clearly stated that I would pay the amount due. However as a university student facing financial constraints, the £60 fine feels incredibly harsh given the circumstances. It is disheartening that my genuine attempt to comply with parking regulations was ignored. I am now left feeling frustrated and unfairly treated, especially with the current cost of living situation!

Be careful when parking in the Pennine…

Be careful when parking in the Pennine Five car park. I tried to pay at the machine and it said no payment. I thought if this was incorrect I would pay at the barrier but the it just lifted for me to exit. This has happened on a couple occasions and I have been charged different amounts for the same period. In short the machine is faulty. Result I receive a PCN that I contested but have had to reluctantly pay as I didn't take a photograph of the screen. Disgraceful that faulty payment systems are then being used to penalise people. Beware.

One star is too much for them

One star is too much for them,
I parked on Marketplace in BH for 32 minutes. It was a Saturday but as I get a lot of brain fog due to illness I thought it was s Sunday and did not pay the ticked. It was on 1st June. About 5 days later I got the first letter. Pay £70 within 14 days or £100 by due date. I don’t exactly remember the duo date but I believe it gave me 30 days in total. I didn’t have the money in so left to see if I could pay end of June. Things are tight, I lost my job due to illness, have been up and down with Drs and I just didn’t have the money. I had to prioritise essential bills. So I thought, I am ending some payments with the end of June UC pay. I will leave it to pay end of July if I am paying the full £100 anyway. But they didn’t give me anytime. Days later I already received they debt collectors letter and it had gone up to £170! I emailed them and said I didn’t appeal as it was indeed my mistake but I had to wait for my payment and that I had now the £100 I could pay them straight away. £170 I do not have plus I believe it is abuse of power.
They said no! They did not accept the money said I had to pay to debt collectors. I contacted the debt collectors and offered the same £100 and they also said no. Now I am looking into all my options but I will definitely take them to the small court. I might have to pay first the full amount which i really don’t have right now but I hope the court will return my payment and make me pay only what is fair for the 32 minutes I stayed.
I normally avoid that car park. The one day I use it this happens. I will avoid it like s plague and suggest everyone else too.

I received a letter from dcbl with regards and unpaid PCN at Hillsborough Exchange shopping Centre, Sheffield S6 4HL. I paid for 3 hours but was 20 mins late leaving and didn't realise.
I haven't received correspondence from this company with regards this it has just gone straight to a debt collectors.
They have sent me the proof I aksed for but will not reply to my request to quash the full charge of £170.
I have advised I am happy to pay the £60 which was their "1st letter" that didn't materialise.
Their phone is permanently off the hook so you can't speak to anyone!

AVOID using these car parks if at all possible!

Really didnt even want to rate 1 star being honest. Hull Royal Infirmary Fountain Street car park. Two options to pay, either by app or using the physical ticket machine (which i did) as i had some change to use.
Week after I received a letter stating the ANPR cameras had detected I hadn't paid. Well no because I paid using the other ticket machine. Unfortunately I'd imagine this has happened to so many more people and without a person to talk to on the phone and no replies to appeal emails it leaves you stuck. I have taken the decision to pay after taking advice from a friend who is a bailiff as its a lottery to just not pay it and knowing my luck I will be one of the ones who gets bigger fines where it has been passed on to several other companies to chase me in years to come. I'd just rather not have the stress of what if another letter arrives. Just be weary! Not ideal when you're visiting a hospital sometimes not in the best of circumstances, this is the last stress you need!

the location will give you NCP parking but is not the address belonging to Bank Park: address M4 4HU vs M4 4AP both past code same address: Gould Street, Manchester.
I think it was NCP parking, but unfortunately was Bank parking and I received a Parking notice £100 because of an address issue.
I think I was on NCP surprise after the parking notice is Bank parking. SCAM SCAM SCAM until don't resolve address issue on Google

Heartless and immortal.

Fair and friendly face!, my backside. I took my child to HRI hospital for an emergency appointment, over stayed my time as unable to leave my daughter to purchase a further ticket. I received parking charges, I appealed due to nature of the overstay and I received a nonchalant reply saying hard luck, pay!
You can go further and submit a further appeal with IAS, but guess what, it won’t let you submit it. There are no phone number to talk direct, you have to send an email and wait for them to contact you, guess what?, I’m still waiting. Out of sight, out of mind and sit back and watch the money role in!
Not only did I have to contend with a sick child, I now have to look at that child for the next month going without as I had to pay the fine. It’s disgusting and immoral.
They accredit themselves as “charity parking”, the only charity is there pockets.
Shame on the Yorkshire Air Ambulance been connected with them.
I had to give a star rating to write this review, I won’t have given them 1 if it were up to me.

Made up Fines

It seems to be a recurring thing reading the reviews. I paid for my parking, however Bank Park have still issued me a fine. I've appealed and they've acknowledged I've paid for parking but they are still threatening to take me to court. Their website states 'We offer friendly, fair and ethical car parking', however nothing about this is ethical, friendly or fair. It is a company abusing it's power and using threats of court to extort money. An absolute shocking company and a great way to stop people going into local towns. No wonder high streets are dying when parking companies can issue fines when the parking has already been paid using their own app!

Gave a hospital patient £100 fine even though the hospital emailed the company

Just read that this disgusting company gave a man who collapsed at a hospital appointment, £100 fine. He paid for 3 hours for a 40 minute appointment, but unfortunately he couldn't predict about going into intensive care. The hospital have written to them and so have the reporters for the news. The are still demanding the £100 even though the poor guy is still in poor health. Absolutely disgusting. Name and shame is the best way to go.

If you see a car park with this companies sign, boycott! We have noted all locations and will be posting flyers around all their car parks with this new story, to make sure as many people around the country boycott. This is not America we do not charge people for requiring life saving treatment.

Cash machine out of order Burgess Hill…

Cash machine out of order Burgess Hill Waitrose and only one machine. Was just being a taxi service for someone. Keep cash in the car for parking and always pay. Lady at Waitrose customer services said car park nothing to do with them even though they refund charges if you spend £15. Appeal rejected - disgusting company which say they are fair. How can they be fair when they let people pay on bank holidays and Sundays even when they don’t have to. The machine should be programmed not to accept payment. Scamming company who discriminate against old people using cash.

Beware Banks Park's 'Out of Order' machines

Myself and 3 other members of our group were fined £60 when their machine on Harrow Street was out of use and we all innocently paid at the nearest machine instead.
Despite appealing, this disproportionally harsh company refused to accept that their re-direction to their preferred machine was insufficient and did not refund.

Avoid at all costs

Avoid at all costs. Despite being on a work trip I’ve been sent a CCJ in my personal name. They will send you threatening letters and court fines over an unjust parking ticket that should have cost a few quid. They just keep adding costs for god knows what, if I could afford this I would just pay it to make them go away. Now the running total is near £300 when the reason I didn’t have a ticket in the first place was because their machine wasn’t working! Oh and don’t even think of appealing they will not even consider listening to your side, you’ll only get the same bot or copy/pasted response before the debt collection letters start..

Absolutely mortified that I received a CCJ from these people back in 2022 and was never notified. I only found out from checking my credit score and writing to the courts for the information. After going back and forth with them and finally speaking to someone on the phone, they realised that the fine that should never have been paid anyway, was in fact sorted and they will get the CCJ removed within 48hrs with no trace. How is that even allowed to happen!?

Scam company

I paid for my parking using hospital applications and this company sent me a fine of £60. As a nurse who uses the parking regularly and always pays for it I was absolutely disgusted. They chose not to respond to my appeal for months and claim I now owe them £100. Which is not true at all as it’s their fault they didn’t response in adequate time! Absolute joke of a company and they’re clearly scamming a lot of nhs staff and patients out of money!
