Just bought a hi-end refurbed workstation from BH. (HP Z8G4 768GB RAM). Very helpful support chap gave me lots of info before I bought. The cost was less than half of a new system. The workstation came within 4 working days, whereas I was quoted about 4 weeks for a new top-end Workstation. I will definitely be back!

Amazing company. Customer service is 10/10. I stupidly ordered the wrong ram for my pc and the awesome customer service rep helped with a refund and even asked for my pc model and sent me a link to the right ram stick. Will definitely order from here agai (order the right thing next time) and pass this company on to my other pc nerds friends so they know where to get all the pc needs

Had a problem but it was resolved perfectly, I couldn't ask for better customer service.

I was unhappy with the product received but they managed to resolve my issues.

Hope they will resolve the listening issues that we discussed.

My experience with the guys at Bargain Hardware was nothing but stellar. They all want to help where they can and I was thoroughly impressed with the service I received.

Item sold did not conform to the its basic normal standard. Support team was not versed with the requisite information about the product.
I had to personally go to HP to get response to the questions asked. The answers were totally in reverse to what bargain warehouse gave.

I bought a workstation for 2.013€ and they sent me a broken one. At the beginning it doesn't start with Displayport, they give me excuses about the cable (I tried 3 different ones) and after find a solution (without his help, they only offered me a refund but I have to send the workstation in Spain and I'm from Andorra).Now the workstation suffered 4 blue screens in one day and I cannot work with him.

PD: they said that i'm a liar because i didn't provide proof of the problems and is not true. But i have to say that they provide me with new component in warranty to try to fix this computer. I will update this after know if they work.

We have had nothing but excellent service from Bargain Hardware. We have bought from them several times, and if there's an issue they're very easy to contact, always respond quickly and are always very happy to sort it out (in this instance, we had a drive fail under warranty).
They also offer excellent value for money.
We will keep using them as a supplier.

Ordered a HP Z420 V1 WORKSTATION and it came within 5-7 working days, kept me informed about the build, Packing was really nice.Post delivery, I had couple of queries and the tech support was on point and very responsive.

Good job guys running a business in this tight budget is really hard and you guys nailed it.

I found BH via eBay but decided to go to their site directly due to the hardware builder. The price for the hardware was better than almost all equivalents on eBay, and I wasn't really expecting or looking for a refurbished item at all, so I wasn't prepared for what I got.

Right from the second I opened the box I knew this was a company who cares. The packing system they use is the best I've seen, there was no way the server was going to be damaged. This server could have gone Zorbing on its own.

I did see a scratch on the case when I unwrapped the server, but I was happy with this as I knew the grading when I purchased and I did have the option of a better grading.

Other than that scratch though, you could put this next to a new computer/server and struggle to see that it has ever been used. All surfaces, edges, cables, feet, screws, heatsinks and everything else were like new, unblemished, no dust to be seen. It included all the original drive-mounting screws all in their correct place as well.

I'll happily recommend and use BH again. Thanks all!

I've updated the rating to a three because the company's reply does seem authentic and because it came today - the same day as the first review.

They lost a sale, all the same, because I bought elsewhere when I was going to buy from them. Hopefully, that will be a motivation to sort the email-quote situation out because otherwise, most seriously, what should a company expect people to think.

Old review

The guys who work there are informative and willing to assist in technical queries and all appears well, up to that point. Yet, as website owners as those of Gumtree would say, for example, if something is too good to be true then it probably is.

I went to some extents in configuring a PC but in expectation of the quote being sent through in my email, my hopes were not realised. Testing to see if a mistake, I returned today and instead got up on the screen a pre-built machine and pressed the button to the same end.

We recently purchased a server from Bargain Hardware, and I am beyond pleased with the entire experience. From start to finish, they demonstrated professionalism, expertise, and a genuine commitment to customer satisfaction.

Memory module failure.
I had tried various combinations, the amber memory error sequence "2 blinks then 7 blinks" appears to be intermittent and is displayed over a period of time when all 4 DIMM modules are populated in slots 1,2,3 and 4. No success in locating the faulty module (s).
Provided Chris with Windows application error logs which indicated a hardware issue !
A DPD swap service was arranged by Chris, replacement DIMMs arrived safely and tested successfully.
Chris from Bargain Hardware provided a first class service, can not thank him enough.
Highly recommend Bargain Hardware as the products and after sales service, help and support is fantastic !

There was a time when Bargain Hardware was one of the cheapest refurbished dealers on eBay. I wish that the company would follow median eBay prices more actively and adjust their prices accordingly, as the hardware they sell is still the same - mostly 10-year-old, obsolete, and expensive hardware. The prices are still the same as they were 5 years ago.

Some of the hardware is even more expensive what it used to be back then. This must be due the GPU miningboom, when Bargain Hardware inflated the prices, but forgot to bring them down.

However, their support and shipping are top-notch. I am keen to make a new purchase when they acquire more updated hardware. Buying a +20kg rack server for 300€+shipping that your mobile phone would beat isn’t something ideal to purchase.

Excellent service. Delivery was exactly as they specified. Everything works as it should.
