Meator probe plus 2
Bought a meator probe that was faulty, tried to go through meator with no result! Miles from Basco calls me up personally to get the issue resolved, also made sure after new product was delivered i was also satisfied. Absolutley fantastic customer service, will recommend Basco to everyone

Every order from this company has been. EXCEPTIONAL! The food is outstanding and the service is simply second to none! I never go anywhere else! The staff are always most helpful and the website is so easy to navigate!

I’ve ordered from Basco several times & been pleased with the quality of the goods but their customer service is poor. If something goes wrong, they are not prepared to properly resolve. My last order had 2 expensive joints of beef that were materially underweight. The order also went to the wrong address which we had to track down & spent 2 hours driving to retrieve. The address details were pre populated by their system and were correct in terms of the street address & village name. What I didn’t spot is that the postcode was wrong but as there is only one village in the UK with this name, I had no reason to check the postcode. Apparently it’s my fault as they are not liable for their system error as per their T&Cs! Mistakes happen but it’s how they are resolved that counts. Will not use them again.

I have been using Basco for a couple of years now and they never fail,I must mention Jo who is always on hand to advise about products and help Jo has a vast knowledge of all the fabulous Spanish products that they sell and she is so helpful and is who i always try to deal with when i call them for advice, the rest of the team are also great.
If you are looking for the finest Spanish ingredients look no further than Basco they are brilliant its all gourmet and delicious the best of Spain on your plate and sure to impress if you are doing a Spanish themed dinner
All the Tapas ingredients such as the iberico ham, the chorizo, Manchego , olives black pudding etc incredible , the anchovies etc stunning the Caribinero prawns are absolutely unreal good and i promise if you have never tried one you should , the suckling pig is amazing and so easy to cook and get juicy meat with crackling thats like glass and divine ,the salt cod croquettes wow, the cooking chorizo is brilliant the wines sherrys pedro ximenez all of it is amazing, i am ordering the lamb soon for a dinner and im sure that will be just as good.
I could carry on listing all the great produce they supply but honestly its all fantastic and all delivered on time packaged and chilled.
I love the way the Spanish eat the quality and it’s so good to find basco and Jo they bring the best of Spain to your doorstep and are great to deal with.
Looking forward to many years of dealing with them.

Had a good experirience the first time I ordered 5kgs of Iberico pork.
Recommended to 2 different friends of mine and they order 5kgs each too.
I have never received the referral discounts from Basco, even after calling them and emailing several times about it. I'm not ordering from this company anymore.

Great service from the guys at Basco. We enjoyed both the burnt manchego cheesecake and tarta de Santiago almond cake. Great dessert alternatives for special occasions. The cheesecake was wonderful and kept in the fridge for a week.

Having Spanish family, it’s always lovely to experience limited food that’s done right! Basco deliver exactly that! Their chorizo… speechless it is delicious! You will not be let down by their option of food they supply!
From their olive oil crisps, to their croquettes, meats and especially chocolate!

I was scheduled to get a delivery of items last week. They didn't appear on the day I thought they were going to. Hardly the end of the world.

A quick call to Alex & Jo at the office. Problem solved.

I wish I had read the reviews. I have placed an order. confirmed by email but now no show of the order on my account and no tracking info. I would expect delivery status and updates as a norm.

just wanted to give you a feed back about this rubia gallega 1kg i eat last night , i work with steaks for many years between hakwsmoore , flat iron and mitchells & butlers and i must say this steak in particular was way to much fatty and not too much meat and taste was so so , maybe i got a piece that didnt have a good life who knows

But i found important to let you know that £60 is a bit overpriced for what you get

Never got anything after I’ve payed £150 , apparently parcel perished and they are feeling sorry..

I was looking for hampers for Christmas and found Basco, they had a great selection of different style hampers to suit what I needed. I ended up buying the easy tapas for two and the steak and wine hamper. Customer service was really helpful when I was trying to work out how to track my delivery.
Both arrived really well packaged and they went down a treat!

Enjoyed some amazing cured meats over Christmas! Lived in Spain for years and I have been unable to come by such great produce in the UK. Will be ordering more!

Great customer service after we had a tough cut of picanha in our first order.
After I gave Basco feedback Miles contacted me directly and offered a voucher so I could try the same or a different cut of meat.
Went for the sirloin roast which was tender and tasty. Also ordered cochinillo, piquillo peppers, croquetas which were all really good.

Quarter suckling pig. We had this yesterday, had friends over for a Spanish meal. Have to say it smelled wonderful cooking but a real disappointment on eating. Very little meat, very, very fatty & nothing really on the leg, taste was indifferent. Very disappointed & NOT cheap!

I ordered the quarter suckling pig which with P&P came to £61. That makes it crazy expensive. The skin didn't crackle up as much as I expected but the taste was excellent, just a shame that it was for 4 people so small portions. It was very well packed and delivered on time but I think it would be far more cost effective to buy the boneless half piglet next time.
