Wish I could give a better review
Normally Basilur is amazing but recently I got 4 tins of sakura tea that smell strongly of chemicals. I messaged Basilur on 15th of June and had to message them on facebook to get a proper reply. At first I was happy they were investigating it and told me they hadn't changed the recipe or anything. But the last email I received said:
"Odd taste in Sakura ( Four Seasons - Spring Tea ) – This product carry 100% Pure Ceylon green leaf tea, natural pomelo and cherry fruits, natural cornflower, and flavour cherry. We have checked our production samples too and we have not changed the blend from its original recipe.
Once again we are very sorry for the inconvenience you might have had and hope your future purchases will be as you have tasted them before."
This is a problem as I have 4 full tins that are not safe to drink. I will change this review if this gets solved, but after a month of emails and them just telling me lol soz, I am torn as I love their tea and have had good experiences before this.

1. the taste - I would prefer a more deep taste and aroma,
2. I would have appreciated to be informed up front about the extra tax (which was almost 20% of the tea value in my case) because the tea was imported from Sri Lanka to Europe.

thank you for replying to my review.
Regarding to the extra tax, which refers to my country importing goods outside EU, it is a quite vague area.
I am not sure that it is a standard fee for all countries and could not find out who would have the primary responsibility to inform the customers about the extra tax: you, the FedEx or a public ‘fiscal’ department of my country (EU).
The problem is that the customer pays the fees without being informed first!!!
Perhaps, mentioning it upon check out would be better than the lack of such information.
