THE worst company i have had the…

THE worst company i have had the displeasure to deal with.
We purchased a bath from Bathshed and upon delivery I inspected as good as I could without taking the bath off the pallet and taking all the protective off, as this helps to protect the bath during fitting.
When it came to fit the bath all seemed fine when insitu so we took the "protective" film off, we then noticed a crack on the rim of the waste cut out.
I contacted Bathshed to inform them about what had happened, the response I got was "It's been more than 24hrs since delivery, there's nothing we can do."
Keeping in mind the bath cost us over £400 I was not happy with the response so I tried to call, no answer, I emailed back, finally got another response stating the same thing, they couldn't help as it was past 24hrs since delivery...they couldn't go back to the delivery company and start a claim, with this I replied that the fault in the bath could not have been made by the delivery company as the damage was inside the bath, you couldn't see the crack until you took the film off. I asked them to show me proof of the bath in a good QC state prior to the bath leaving their warehouse, they couldn't, I say they couldn't, I'm guessing at that as they never replied to my request.
After a while I got a reply to say they would give me money off a new "replacement" bath. Sorry but I was not prepared to pay another £200+ on top of what we had already spent.
The damaged bath should have been collected and a replacement one sent out.
After sales / customer care at this company is a joke and I will NOT be buying anything from this company again.

We’re sorry to hear you’re unhappy with your experience. We always work hard to deliver products in perfect condition and resolve any issues promptly.

However, in this case the bath was delivered on 15th July and your first contact with us about damage was not until 15th August - a full month later, well outside the 24-hour reporting period required by our policy! By this point the bath had already been installed. As outlined in our delivery and returns policy, all items must be inspected on arrival and any damage reported within 24 hours so that we can lodge a claim with our courier and arrange a replacement or refund. Unfortunately, once this time frame has passed and the product has been fitted, we are unable to make a claim or offer a full replacement.

We would also like to note that the location and nature of the damage you described – at the rim of the waste cut-out – is highly unusual for this model and appears more consistent with an installation-related issue. This is one of our most popular baths and we have never had a report of this specific type of damage occurring before.

We did offer a discount on a replacement bath as a gesture of goodwill, but we understand this was not acceptable.

Bath panel

Ordered a bath panel that is made for the bath. Quite expensive as I had to get delivered to London. the only problem was there was no attachments with the panel. The plumber has tried to get around it.
Looks lovely but I’m hoping it doesn’t become loose

Just to clarify, the fittings are always securely wrapped and attached to the panel during packing, but they can occasionally be missed when unpacking. If you need replacements, please reach out to our team and we’ll be happy to send them out to you.

In terms of delivery, the cost was due to the panel being ordered separately after the bath. As both items require pallet delivery, placing two separate orders meant two separate pallet shipments.

Good Customer service

I was able to receive advice about what to order from a very helpful customer service member of staff and all went through smoothly. It was when it was out for delivery it was difficult to track from Tyrone, and I received conflicting messages. However Bathshed managed to track down the order and it was received safely but a day later than expected.

Very helpful staff on the phone

Very helpful staff on the phone, both giving advice about their products and with purchase and prompt delivery. I may have missed something but we were a bit thrown by "kerbside only" delivery on a pallet. That was a problem. Would have been happy to pay extra if need be for it to be taken to the room it was going to be installed in.

As we note in our shipping policy, due to insurance restrictions placed on freight couriers, they are only able to deliver to the kerb or doorstep and cannot enter the property or handle items beyond that point. This is a limitation set by their insurers, not by our choice, and it’s in place to prevent potential liability issues.

Very good , would recommend

Found exactly what I was looking for and ordering was no problem at all. Order arrived in 5 days and was well wrapped and absolutely perfect. Gave 4 stars rather than 5 because it was a bit stressful as I didn’t receive an order confirmation or delivery details. These days it’s normal to know exactly when and how your goods are arriving and I was beginning to think that my order hadn’t been received. However if I’d known this was the norm for this company I wouldn’t have been as worried.

Fantastic Service and Quality – Highly Recommend Bathshed!

A huge thank you to Bathshed – the bath looks and feels absolutely brilliant. When it first arrived, I noticed what I thought were scratches. On closer inspection, it may well have just been the protective cellophane covering. Even so, I initially refused delivery just to be safe.

What happened next was truly outstanding. I contacted customer service and explained I urgently needed a replacement, as workmen were scheduled to arrive. Without any fuss, they arranged for a brand new bath to be delivered the very next day – no quibbles, no hassle, just excellent service.

To me, it’s not just about getting things right first time – it’s how a company puts things right that really matters. Bath Shed showed they genuinely care and are committed to looking after their customers. That’s the kind of service that earns lifelong loyalty.

Shocking, still waiting for my order!

I ordered a shower tray for my bathroom, paid over £600 plus £80 to have it delivered last week Wednesday which did not happen. It was then supposed to be Thursday then today and still don’t have an ETA whilst I have plumbers showing up everyday. Customer service won’t answer the phone either. Shocking service!

Firstly, We'd like to sincerely apologise for the inconvenience caused by the delay, especially given the disruption it has brought to your bathroom works. We fully understand how stressful scheduling can be when contractors are involved.

To clarify, your order was placed on the 10th of April and dispatched on the 14th. Unfortunately, we were informed on the 15th that the item was damaged in transit. A replacement was immediately dispatched on the 16th. Our delivery estimates are 2–3 working days from dispatch; however, due to the Easter holidays, our warehouse and customer service team were closed during this period — a closure clearly communicated on our website and via our pre-holiday email campaign.

We absolutely recognise how frustrating the lack of communication during this time must have felt. That said, the circumstances surrounding the delay were exceptional, and we acted promptly once the issue was identified.
In light of your request for a full refund, we are more than happy to assist.

Again, we apologise for the inconvenience caused and appreciate your understanding.

Good product, Comms could be better.

Bath is great, exactly what was needed for our tiny bathroom.
I placed the order at a weekend, and although the payment went out instantly there was no confirmation email til the next working day. Didn't get any updates around it being dispatched - the site did say 3-5 working days, so we went from your order has been received to expect a delivery today!

Bathshed delivered a mixed experience, but overall, they showed professionalism and efficiency. Their customer service team swiftly resolved delivery issues that arose due to courier errors, ensuring my products arrived safely. Excellent service. It took a little longer to arrive than…
