i had a faulty battery after 3 months the company messed me around with having it tested and then required it to be returned and i had to pay 20 pounds to send it back i sat in my front window waiting for a collection,and got a text message saying no one was at home ,they sent me a google photo of my old front door i checked my cctv cameras no one called in time stated and then asked for another 20 pounds to rebook a collection ,,,,,rant over dont buy if you want a g/tee bunch of cowboys

wrong Battery supplied and Returns cost more than Battery price
Ordered a Battery for my Motorcycle based on recommendations of the Battery group website and i received wrong size that was smaller than required .although the delivery was super quick .
I requested the team to exchange the correct battery and i had in put details on website incl make and model while ordering ,which was not checked by Battery group before dispatching the item.
The agents i spoke to advised that they cannot see all the message the customer enters on their website .Customers are advised to read full terms and conditions before ordering and it is my prerogative to choose to return using their own courier or elsewhere.
I felt there was no intention to help customers instead just pass the buck and no one responsible for this mistake except customers only.Hence be careful while ordering as they are poorly trained in their product knowledge and even if you choose the suggested battery it is possible to receive wrong size or type and no point of getting any suitable response or actions .Overall poor after sales service
Don’t use this company they let you down
Ordered and paid, no confirmation e mails, spoke to them the following day and they advised dispatched. Called two days later and they advised that they had cancelled the order on the day I phoned and refunded , still no communication to inform me of this. Now having to go elsewhere quickly as It was urgent !!! Don’t use them
You may be very unwise to use these Warranty claim dodgers
Returned a Varta EFB within the 1 year warranty as it had shown capacity, during Ford main dealer service, to be well below level for stop /start - the reason for which it was bought. Bought new in June 2024, it worked for less than 2 weeks; trickle charged at length between driving - no improvement. Returned at cost of £20.00 - nothing happened for days; test done ( standard/flooded - not EFB enhanced test ) showed "healthy battery" but even lower capacity. Car had replacement battery installed - stop/start worked instantly and on every trip since. TBG have libelled the engineer in an email, by suggesting I get a qualified engineer to do the test; they then said something might be wrong with the car, ignoring my confirmation that the service was completed with no faults indicated. Someone else has stated the following:"If you purchase from this company, you should not expect to ever receive a warranty replacement or refund. To date, the fee for the initial, fraudulent "sulfation" diagnosis has still not been refunded." Could not agree more - "you" have been warned.
Apparent Fraudulent Practices to Invalidate Warranty Claims
I advise other professionals to be extremely cautious with this supplier. My warranty claim for a failed NOCO Lithium battery, which was well within its coverage period and reading 0V, was met with what I can only describe as fraudulent attempts to void the warranty.
The initial paid diagnosis cited "sulfation" as the cause of failure. This is technically impossible for a lithium battery and appears to be a fraudulent tactic to immediately invalidate a warranty claim. This baseless assessment points to either a dangerous lack of product knowledge or willful deceit.
When this was challenged, the reason was changed to "overcharging"—another claim that suggests fraudulent intent, given the battery's integrated BMS has explicit over-voltage protection to prevent this specific failure mode.
This pattern of using technically impossible justifications strongly suggests a business practice of denying warranty claims by any means necessary. The only way to proceed was to bypass this company entirely and contact the manufacturer directly for a replacement.
Be prepared for any legitimate warranty claim here to be rejected through similar fraudulent tactics. If you purchase from this company, you should not expect to ever receive a warranty replacement or refund. To date, the fee for the initial, fraudulent "sulfation" diagnosis has still not been refunded.

Sent me a damaged battery
Sent me a battery that had been severely damaged, must have been dropped from a height to get a cracked casing, No damage to the delivery box so someone at the battery group sent the battery with full knowledge that it was no good. Every message I sent just got the same response so clearly don’t care or read messages. No interest in taking it back or giving a refund. 6 months later and I still have a useless battery and no help from the battery group. Do yourself a favour and buy from somewhere else.
