We hired BBQ & Buffet's to cater our wedding at Billingley Village Hall and they absolutely blew us (and our guests) away! The food was incredible flavorful, perfectly cooked, and beautifully presented with many options.

Beyond the food, the service was outstanding. Massimo our chef for the day was professional, friendly with amazing energy and on top of everything from setup to cleanup. He made the entire process seamless, allowing us to just enjoy the day.

We can’t recommend BBQ Catering & Buffet's and Massimo enough. If you're looking for a caterer who delivers both flavor and service, they are the ones to call. Thank you for making our wedding day so delicious and memorable.

Fantastic BBQ for my 60th birthday. Vikram made sure the food was ready by the time agreed. All the guests mentioned how great the food was. Great variety and very tasty. Some guests were vegetarian and gluten free but everything had been thought through. Guests were able to replenish their plates multiple times and Vikram was really helpful in explaining all the dishes to the guests. Nothing was too much trouble for Vikram. He worked tirelessly from midday to 6pm. He was an absolute star.

I would definitely use BBQ and Buffets again. I thoroughly enjoyed my birthday and the lovely food made it extra special.

We had the classic finger buffet delivered in advance of our small family wedding today.
The food arrived exactly when expected, well packaged and presented beautifully. The breads were lovely and soft, you could really tell the quality of the ingredients and the extra care put into the flavours such as in the egg mayonnaise.
The other savouries were lovely and again excellent quality - I feel like a cheap sausage roll is quite obvious but these were meaty, good ratio of pastry to meat and really tasty.
We added pizza bites which were very nice and nicely sized mini slices - we warmed these in our oven and they tasted great!
We also added desserts of Victoria sponge and chocolate brownie. The Victoria sponge was lovely, well made with nice filling and a lovely soft sponge. The chocolate brownies were to die for! So delicious, squidgy and sweet! I could eat 100!
Thank you so much for making our day 100 times easier but also feel so very special!

Ruined our wedding day! Booked this caterer with high hopes but they were hours late on the day which I appreciate can't always be helped, but turned up without an apology or explanation, no communication ahead about their lateness so we were left in the dark with hungry guests, didn't have any gas to cook food so they used my mum's and haven't replenished this, food was awful, chef was miserable. I tried to reason with them afterwards but, Emily admitted to not being aware of any issues so her team hadn't told her anything, and despite messages between them and my maid of honour on the day, we have been completely dismissed and advised she was satisfied with their teams' communication! Absolutely appalling service, people, company and food; I've never been so embarrassed, disappointed and disgusted.

Great service, food was lovely. Jess was our chef for the day, she turned up early and made sure everything ran smoothly. Would highly recommend. Thanks Jess :)

The BBQ last week was fantastic, and I just wanted to let you know that everything was absolutely perfect. The food was delicious, and all of our guests were impressed with the quality and variety. The service was equally outstanding – everything was seamless, and Fin was very professional and attentive.

We booked a hot buffet plus pizzas for a family party for 60 people and were so impressed from the start of working with them. Their communication was very quick and simple, plus they were very flexible and adaptable to our needs. On the day itself the food was incredible and everyone was so impressed! Our chef Rowland was also very friendly and really represented the company well. We would definitely use them again and would recommend happily!

We had event caterers catering our wedding in August 2024! The food was fabulous. We had a hot pasta which was loved by everyone and then an Italian platter which was also great! Would recommend the company to anyone as they are super friendly, great with communication and very affordable.

BBQs & Buffets catered for wedding recently and they were outstanding from start to finish! From the early days of ideas, to creating a menu and delivering on our special day! The team on the day were absolutely seamless. They arrived, set up, cooked away and fed all of our guests! The buffet for the evening was fab! The guests were very happy with the food as were we. Wouldn’t hesitate to use them again for any function! Thank you for your hard work and efforts to make our day fab and thank you to Emily for the calls and prep beforehand. Great team! Everything was superb from these guys, everyone commented on how great the food was and the choices available, the service was warm & friendly. They catered for 150 people and the food was all ready at the specified time and there was plenty of it. I hope I get the opportunity to use you again sooner rather than later

We had BBQs and Buffets cater our wedding party. The staff were so thoughtful and friendly- my guests loved the staff- so friendly and warm. The event ran very smoothly- all timings were perfect and the set-up and clear away was invisible to us. The food was excellent and all our guests have complimented it. They were exceptionally organised too and helpful when suggesting vegetarian and allergy splits within the numbers. I would absolutely use them again and highly recommend.

Really great experience we enjoyed from BBQs and Buffets. The food was all lovely and cooked to the time we specified. It was a large family get together with over 70 to cater for, but everything went smoothly. Thank you for the lovely service.

Took all the hassle out of catering for a party of 35 people. The BBQ was excellent, there were a lot of favourable comments from the guests, and there was plenty left over for the next few days.
Your chef couldn't have been more helpful and did a brilliant job for us. Would certainly recommend for other events.

Easy to arrange, and our family BBQ was run very efficiently on the day, with everyone complimenting the quality of food provided.

Great selection of pizzas and desserts and had more than enough to go around. We catered for 35 but could have fed 45! Roland was a friendly and efficient host and set up on time and everyone agreed pizzas and the choice was great. Would use again!

Hired Event Caterer Group Ltd for our daughter’s birthday recently - pls note this comes up as BBQs & Buffets on Google. Cannot fault the food, however, service on the day & thereafter was poor…

We chose the ultimate package & we expected the event time to be adhered to & a much better service. Especially, as we had several communications, a zoom call and even assurances on the actual day by the company CEO/director/event planner that service times will be adhered to.

The chef arrived late, due to a van issue (we were not informed of his lateness in advance), was preoccupied with the RAC breakdown patrol (even though we are assured minutes upon the chef’s arrival by Emily Cardy, CEO/director/event planner, that he will not be dealing with the RAC himself someone else will be) & then the chef needed our guest’s assistance to erect the gazebo to begin cooking-he was on the phone to a colleague asking for instructions on erecting the gazebo to our amazement.

I immediately raised my concerns with Emily Cardy, CEO/director/event planner, who reassured me on the telephone that the bbq would be cooked within the hour, as they always overestimate cooking times. The food should have been served at 3.45pm, as agreed from day one. However, to our disappointment the food was all cooked & served at 5pm! My husband & I had to keep asking the chef where are the sides, condiments, where utensils are, have you cooked this etc for him to action & realised after our party there was an item completely missing! I raised our concerns with Emily Cardy, after our event. Emily’s responses to our concerns were poor. She offered no resolution & instead she has, made a “bizarre” claim & threatened legal action, against us. Unbelievable! Well, we await correspondence from her legal team…
To this day she has not even given us a refund for food that wasn’t served or an acceptable apology.
Emily is unprofessional in her tone & language & this has tarnished the reputation of the business. We will not be using or recommending the company again.

Lesson learnt don’t be sucked into what you see on social media or in pictures or videos about this company… ironically, posts since our complaint include ‘stress- and hassle-free catering’.

Emily it wasn’t a little over half an hour late - it was 1hr 15mins late. The untruths in your response are unreal. You knew about the access to our garden as this was one of your questions in the zoom call & you confirmed this in writing to us in an email which we sent back to you to remind you. Bailey never raised this as an issue with us. This was your negligence & you put your staff member at risk.

The food menu was incomplete as we had a missing item so again it’s untruthful to say this was completed. If you were to order a meal from a restaurant & an item was missing, would you expect to pay for that? Even more so if your food arrived late - 1hr 15mins to be precise.

You / Bailey / the team never kept us updated, another example of your dishonesty. Bailey actually informed us he didn’t breakdown on the way to our event & the RAC attended the vehicle at our house & confirmed the vehicle was safe enough for Bailey to drive back to Nottingham.

You haven’t apologised ‘numerous times’ & in your responses to our complaint, you became defensive & made many assumptions. As the CEO/director/event planner, we find you very unprofessional to shift the blame to us & make false accusations to distract from the poor service we received & missing food item in a bid to maintain your reputation.

From the first enquiry to the end of the wedding reception the team were totally amazing .
Nothing was too much trouble and the food was out of this world . The guests could not stop talking about how delicious everything was. Thank you so much xx

Thank you so much for providing food for my partner's 50th birthday party. We had around 80 guests and always a worry if the food will be good or enough. The food was an absolute delight, warmly received and praised by many. It not only looked fantastic but tasted delicious, with plenty to go around. I noticed some guests going back for seconds and even thirds, yet there was still an abundance left over. We also have some leftovers in our freezer to keep us going for a month 😊

Tom was an absolute gem throughout the evening. He was tireless, approachable, and incredibly helpful. He even stepped in to help me cut the cake when I realized I had forgotten to bring a knife.

We will definitely recommend your services to all our friends and look forward to working with you again.

BBQs & Buffets catered a corporate conference event that I was project managing a few weeks ago. We chose a hot food buffet. Communication was swift and clear, especially as we were booking at late notice. Value for money was excellent - it cost the same as we were being quoted for far less substantial sandwich/wrap options - and the feedback from attendees on the food was universally positive. The staff on the day were incredibly friendly and polite. Really impressed, and would certainly book again!
