We booked our wedding with beach weddings and we was paired with Emily who was absolutely brilliant in sorting everything. We wasn’t the easiest of customers as we had a lot of restrictions on dates and venues but she stayed patient and delivered us everything we asked for. Can’t thank her enough

After initially researching a beach wedding with a few different companies, and toying with the idea of booking it all ourselves, the support we received from Beach Weddings at the research stage made an immediate impact and we were very happy to book through them. They gave us numerous quotes as we were toying with various locations - nothing was too much trouble and all questions were swiftly and helpfully answered. Gentle guidance was given to help narrow our choice down. I'm the sort of person who has a lot of questions and they were always dealt with helpfully and patiently. We settled on Victoria for 2, part of the Victoria Beachcomber resorts, on Mauritius.

The help given by Rochelle in organising our paperwork in the run up to our wedding was fantastic. At no point did anything feel a hassle or complicated. She took us through each step, and it was made clear and easy what we needed to do. Reminders were given when needed and she liaised with the wedding coordinator in resort to ensure everything was received and correct, all in a timely manner.

Once in resort, we met almost immediately with Veronique, our event coordinator What a wonderful human she is! She is kind, helpful, efficient, knowledgeable and like Rochelle, also excellent at her job. She took us through our choices e.g. flowers, cake, location and gave us plenty of guidance and photos to help us choose. The support the hotel give in providing a driver and guide to take you into the capital to sort all paperwork e.g. licence to marry etc is super and made the process so easy - we left after breakfast and were back in time for lunch.

One small tip - take your wedding dress as hand luggage! I didn't, whoops, and my suitcase got lost in Paris at our connecting flight However, Rochelle at Beach Weddings did all she could to chase Air Mauritius from their end and the hotel concierge staff were fantastic at chasing at the other end, delivering my suitcase direct to our room the night before the wedding - phew! Rochelle even spent time on her day off chasing and I think was as relieved as I was when it turned up!

Our day itself was absolutely beautiful and we would not hesitate to recommend both Beach Weddings as an amazing facilitator and Victoria Beachcomber as a destination. It was just us two on the day and the location, the service and our evening candlelit meal for two on the beach with our own personal butler was just perfect in every way. Thank you Beach Weddings for making our day so easy and so perfect.

A big thankyou to Lakh at Beach Weddings for making our dream beach wedding so effortless to plan. Through helping pick a destination, staying within budget and making sure all the finer details were all looked after, it made our experience planning a wedding abroad hassle free. Whilst it can be quite daunting knowing where to start, Lakh gave us a list of what paperwork was needed and informed all the relevant authorities which made the legal side of things a breeze when we arrived. It was very organised which put us at ease with it all. The resort was amazing and had the most idyllic backdrop for a beach wedding. From start to finish Lakh was quick to respond with any questions and we even chatted over the phone. Beach weddings offer an extremely good service for those you want hassle free wedding planning abroad without the fear of overlooking something.
